Hey Seddit, I've been a short time lurker but learned a lot from reading everyone's posts. Thought I should post my small victory haha.

So me and a friend were just heading out to get some food as we had just done some work at our school's gym. We pass these two girls HB7 and HB8 and I look at HB8 and she says "hey" but she has the biggest smile on her face and I have only talked her one time before. So I am thinking that she's a little into me. That was just something I wanted to share, the real victory happened when we got our food.

So we get to the cafeteria and my friend says he has to grab some food and go because there is some religious speaker he is going to see. So I have my food and am thinking, well this sucks..until I see this really cute girl HB7 sitting by herself and I'm thinking, why not? So I go in before I have a chance to back out and ask if she minds if I sit with her. She says that's fine and we begin talking and we talked about school, career goals, life goals and related topics. I would have #-closed but at one point she mentioned she had a boyfriend. Overall it was a great experience and gave me a big confidence boost! I encourage everyone and anyone who has AA to act as soon as possible because if you don't then you'll end up talking yourself out of it, or you'll wait too long and the opportunity will be gone.

tl;dr I chatted up a really cute girl I've never met before and it went well!
