that's quite an interesting answer, thanks! I've actually made pretty similar observations. For example: Many feminists I know of loudly dislike men who go the gym on a regular basis, but in a way this seems to make it even harder to become somewhat attractive as a men, since it's e.g. height and facial structures as well as the natural self-confidence of attractive men (parts of "organic, free range masculinity" which grow in importance then imo.
