Agreed. I started losing my hair in high school and by senior year of college, I shaved it off. I was reluctant, but I realized my anxiety was coming from trying to unsuccessfully fix the problem. Wrong. One man was served papers to dispute the paternity in court and never showed up. So, he was legally determined to be the father and forced to pay child support even though he could later prove the child was not his. Why didn't he show up? I think the sticking point when I first read your post is that "aloofness" would indicate the person is making a conscious decision to not appoarch in hopes of attracting others.
