In a perfect world you wouldn't have to give up your culture to fit in. America is not that world. I've already thrown away my whole culture to fit in, and I've no regrets. For me it's either success or culture. I'm happy with my decision, but I know it's not one that many people agree with.

I'm Middle Eastern bro and live in one of the whitest cities on the East coast. My advice is to stop acting Indian. Hang out more with white friends because I've seen way too many Indian men only having photos with other Indians, usually family. Develop your social skills. Smile everywhere you go, dress fashionable and trim yourself. I'm always fully shaved so I give less connection to me being from the Middle East. I know this might sound counter PC, but whiteness attracts all ethnicities. Be f…

Not having social skills is his own fault. One can both become Nobel prize winner AND have a social life. If the guy didn't develop skills that are necessary in life than that's genetics in a way eliminating someone who wasn't fit in the society.

But you're wrong. Average looking guy with charm then yeah he can get laid. Average "nice guy" does not get laid if he's not charming. Personally I get called charming wherever I go, but never handsome. It's because I'm not attractive physically, but I've superficial charm so I get around. Now if I was socially stunted and average looking I might as well have been an incel. So it all depends on social charisma, as long as you're adequate physically.

Stop gaming, lose the weight, and stop being awkward in general. I've a friend who gets invited to sooo many parties because he knows a lot of guys, but everytime he just goes and stands in a corner doing nothing. Like he's very cold, he doesn't look friendly and you've to always be the one to initiate talking to him otherwise he doesn't participate in anything. Oh and also guys like him only talk about 1 thing only most of time. Whether it's video games, or if they're in ROTC then they only tal…

Yeah it's weird. You go to a club and you drink and drink and dance. Idk why anyone would tell you otherwise but drinking is absolutely crucial imo because not only it lowers your inhibition but also you become more trustable. How are you going to buy a lady her drink if you don't drink yourself? That looks creepy as hell and the only way someone would go home with you from the club is if they're at least mildly intoxicated and horny. Not drinking is a choice, but don't be surprised when you hav…

Talk to everyone, man or woman. Branch out into conversations, talk to random people about weird things like their shirt logo or just anything to start a conversation. Be fun. I for example sometimes use the fact that I'm a "palm reader" to break the ice and from then people line up for me to read their palms. Be interesting, confident, and observant. Also drink a lot, especially if there's free vodka there.

Develop your vocabulary, ask personal questions (within reason), be superficial (generous tips with waiters, caring,...), compliment people on things they have control (hair, dress, but not face or something they've no control), always be smiling, be firm, have stories (travel and be experienced to have stories), and finally converse with everyone, don't ever stand holding a beer. Go talk to anyone, introduce yourself and for me I always say: "sorry we haven't met yet, my name is...). The more p…
