Most of my girlfriends have been from 20 to 30 years younger than me, and such relationships have lasted from 1 to 5 years.

I think that the argument of power imbalances, life stages, and stuff is a valid argument. Why? Such things exist in normal relationships too. I've seen plenty of posts by men claiming that it's just saltiness from women It's not just women. Any age gap is feasible providing you think about the consequences. In the most typical case, an older man wants to settle down with a younger woman, which means the woman can have children without waiting for the right time. Obviously if there is a large ag…

Stop watching videos, write lots of replies, some will answer. Go on dates There's no denying it can be a lot of effort and time consuming, but you'll almost certainly have a girlfriend if you put the time into getting one.

Your problem is you're not experiencing life. Install Tinder, put some effort into dating and your problem will solve itself I didn't get intimate till I was nearly 30. Since then however I have realised that if you don't put the work into dating or interact you are never going to get anywhere. Watching all the videos in the world won't help. Dating is only really learned by interaction. You will have many failures, many no-shows. All this is part of the learning experience. What you have failed…

I'm not really a MGTOW follower, but I guess I can answer this one seriously, as my last relationships have been in this age range (I'm in my 50s, relationships over the last 15 years have all been 17-25). Most of them are so fucking obnoxious and childish. There's an element of truth about this, but there are some who are different. Many of those know what they want and are happy with giving the older person what they want out of the relationship. Their objectives can range from providing a sta…

Being a slayer with multiple sexual partners is overrated, a risk to your finances and health, and not all it's knocked up to be. Also "slaying" takes time, money and effort, that you could be spending on earning money or doing the stuff that interests you. Elon Musk, for example, who does seem to have played the field a little, spends huge amounts of time working, and obviously only wants a woman who knows what his priorities are. You do actually want to talk and interact in a meaningful way wi…

I'm sure you can Google, but the point is you've reduced the number of states to just 5 out of 50, and in actual fact if you read the small print in their legislation, you will find that either such relationships aren't prosecuted or attract a fine level misdemeanour at maximum. I do however agree that you are taking some chances with respect to the way it is handled in the modern USA

Also, that 20-year-old could see jail time. Unlikely as the age of consent in Europe is mostly 17 or below, and the age of consent in the USA is 16 in 31 states, 17 in 8 more, and 18 in only 11 states. However most of those with 18 also have "close in age" exceptions that allow age gaps of 3 years or so. He'd only be in trouble in a couple of states. I never understand why people don't know their own age of consent laws.

The arrangement was the outcome of telling my wife I'd knocked up this 18 year old. We didn't divorce but made this arrangement, which included an agreed financial settlement if we did divorce. The kids are both at college and doing well and know my younger child, so it's not a problem

...avoid gold diggers I'm better paid than almost anyone I'm going to date, often by a factor of 5 or better. I don't mind someone dating me for the finer things in life to a limited extent as long as I'm getting what I want out of it. As far as my kids are concerned we're married and I just see them every few weekends or so. From comments both of them have made however, I believe they know the score, especially as they've met my last GF.

Well it depends on what you judge as a high SMV. I'm overweight (210 lbs) but I cycle 5-10 miles a day I'm white, 5'11", blue eyes, brown hair, now mid 50s I'm not particularly good looking I dress smartly for dates and don't mind spending money on dates I'm quite shy, not good in parties and large social groupings, but I push myself to be more communicative. It is possible I have some form of Aspergers but I feel that label is overused, so I could be just socially awkward. I can and do overcome…

I met my last GF when I was 50 and she was 20; it lasted 4 years. Prior to that most of my relationships and FWBs were 20+ years different, starting from 38 when I dated an 18 year old and had a child 2 years later. I've never had any big problems with the age gap. Most women either approach me or post dating adverts specifically looking for an older man.

Congratulations, you've just discovered that online seduction talks contain a mixture of truth and horseshit. There is a possibility you could have 'closed' but it was a teeny weeny one. You didn't have enough rapport with her so going for a longer game was a better bet.

'So, if you and me had mind blowing sex, what would you do.' This line fucked you up big time. You just simply don't go straight from music to "wanna fuck?" in 2 seconds. If you can't think of anything sensible to say, then its time to break it off by saying something along the lines of: Hey I've gotta go soon, but I've enjoyed talking to you, can I have your number?

They're not a problem in the UK either. I've dated girlfriends between 17 and 25 for many years with a 20-30 year age gap without any big problems. Age gaps become an issue when the younger partner doesn't develop their education/skills or career, or if the older partner hasn't really succeeded in life.

The UK average may be £27k, but it will be higher than that for a family where both parents are 30 or so. You're including old people on pensions and people fresh out of education in that figure.

Whilst £50k is above the UK average wage, it might not be above the UK average wage in the South East of England, particularly for someone in their 30s or 40s

I'm in my mid 50s and still find that there are a number of women under 25 who are happy to date me. I grant not every woman under 25 wants to do so, but enough to have options.

Why lie about your age? There are plenty of women who are happy to date older men. In fact it doesn't really pay to lie about anything as you'll be found out. What is perfectly legitimate however is to be confident and positive about things you've done in the past.
