I feel you. I grew up with a dissociative disorder, and have occasional psychotic episodes. I feel as a shadow, witnessing and not being witnessed. Sometimes I'm not even sure I exist, I don't go out anymore or have friends but I used to show up to places and people would be like "whoa, when did you get here" even though I made a noise like opening a door or walking up to someone. Quit generalizing. Not everyone has a social circle to engage with. It's not "bad habits" some people have generally dealt with struggles like incarcerations and mental hospitals.
