I have the right Gonna stop you right there. This is not the UN, so you can take your man-given rights somewhere else.

...and people get curious about it, "what about it is so bad?", they go to the site.. This is exactly how I found TRP. A year ago I was talking to a female student I worked with about patriarchy, and how I found it appropriate for the time, while she saw it as female oppression. Something I said made her go: " that is so red pill ", mind you I did not use Reddit back then. I called her out on it, and made her show me the sub. I had a few laughs reading the top post of all-time while she looked o…

There are so many things wrong with this post I don't know where to start: This post does not match the posting requirements. This post teaches nothing. Why are you posting the same thing in 2 different subs? This is posting for the sake of posting. This is riddled with victim mentality. Stop blaming everybody else.

Yep. This is also why when I go shopping for clothes I do not ask the opinion of the staff. They will say it looks good 99% of the time.

Are they unattractive because they came to her, or was that decided upon before that? She has admitted to declining some good looking guys (in her own words). She says she gives them a chance, texts with them, and lets them take her out.

Yeah sorry about that. First post ever on Reddit so had to nail down the markup language. The formatting help was not very helpful.

I agree with you generally. Guy here are pretty alpha in general, but what I think is happening is that they go Beta-mode when trying to woo a potential bride (read: westernization) which fucks everything up. That's what she's looking for: a man who can give her the emotional states she craves. That's what priests, hypnotists, and guys like you and I do all day. Funny you should say this. A couple of days ago she (jokingly) asked me if I'd marry her. I said no.

I would never give my cousin's hand in marriage for the likes of you!!!!

I don't think so. Her interactions with men seem very hetero to me.

My biased reply would be no, because I cannot imagine she would dare. But I cannot prove that she has not.

Why should she marry one of these grovelling at her feet guys? She must choose someone at some point, this is just part of the culture, and she does actually want to find someone. Since she does not go seeking the man, her only options are the ones that come to her.

Thanks. I didn't know whether to flair as a FR because I didn't actually do anything myself.

Perhaps it has less to do with actual education and more with the social status that higher education confers This is exactly it. With her education she cannot marry the local cashier. Her only real options are either men who have a good enough business or someone equally or more educated. This is known (here).

I agree with this. Luckily in my part of the country westernisation is accepted and no open push-back is occurring as far as I can tell. But I must note that I have not lived there permanently for almost 10 years, but visit often, so I don't get the full picture.

I hate that I agree with this. The Arab inside me is angry at you for using such words to describe my family.

First off: you seem overly angry, take a chill pill. (Read: IDGAF) Body: Patriarchy is social system designed (probably by very alpha people mind you) to utilize the productiveness of all males by giving them wives and kids to support. Yes, this is an artificial system that reward betas with wives they wouldn't be able to woo on their own, but they pay this back by being productive members of the society the alphas are running. The alphas can't fuck all women anyway, there are simply too many. P…

Actually she is one of the smartest people in my classes, so I do most of my group work with her. This is because she is very receptive to leadership and I like having the control in an assignment. Also, it is generally fun to have one of the few females in software engineering on your team. Outside of school work I go no-contact though.

Rule #1 of TRP: "Don't talk about TRP". Funny story of meeting TRP: I had a conversation with this girl about gender, and she passingly mentioned this sub as mesogynist and whatnot. I took a look at it right there and then and fell in love with it. She couldn't believe her ears when i told her i actually liked it. Now i act like i have stopped reading it, but am secretly using the stuff i learn on her.

There might be less dissonence than you think. As i see it it just boils down to the different goals people on TRP have. Some just want to have their sexual needs fulfilled without too much drama, while others are looking for more intimate connection (LTR). TRP has answers to both that seeks to work in today's sexual environment: For quick fucks there are the usual tips on how to find and aquire plates, how not to get oneitis etc.. All of this has the side effect of raising women's N count for o…

I am seriously doubting that you know what fraternity hazing is... In this context hazing is a kind of "filtering applicants" process. Guys want to join the fraternity, so they sign up for the hazing. If you manage to hold untill the end you are in, if you give up, you are out. It is (should) be completely voluntary. From your words it sound like you think it is just attacking people, which it is not.

The world doesn't need bastards like me. The world doesn't need anyone, bastard or not. This is not Game of Thrones, bastards are not any different from the rest of us. You are not here to entertain the us (the world), but make the best of the time you have on this earth. ... but im just a bitch You list all the things that you hate about yourself, which shows that you know what you want to be. Take control, and begin changing. Man lesson number 1: Stop whining and do something about it. In rega…
