As a stutter, and introvert, the don't stutter part is kinda rough haha. Good post though.

good advice, I really like the line in between, it'll help me "jump" on to my name.

This is definitely something worth considering. But I also don't want to come off as if I don't have a speech impediment if she thinks I'm faking it.

I'm in speech therapy and that's one of the things I'm working on. That and easy onsets+light articulation.

I don't think you have a real speech impediment, it sounds like you just have natural disfluencies when nervous. I might be wrong though.

That's fucking awesome! I'm all about self-control and viewing stuttering like that is a total paradigm shift. thanks man hope you'll start doing better soon!

Yeah stuttering while singing is impossible. Wanna give examples of ass smacking and one liners?

It's not necessarily that I'll get made fun of. It's just, stuttering for a long time is, admittedly, kind of awkward for the person listening if they don't know me. Especially in a party environment. For instance, let's say I'm introducing myself: ...I'm h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-ello adventure. Let's say that's like a 10 second stutter. If the person isn't experienced with stutterers they may not know how to respond and it might be hard to transition out of that?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
