2	Left wingers don’t even acknowledge men’s problems. I've always been left wing as well, progressive views with a few conservative ones but still on the left spectrum of politics. I completely agree and empathize with your sentiment, it's very difficult. I've been to protests and rallies, the amount of slander I've seen at these events toward men is repulsive. What I find ironic is that there are so many men at these events, gay, straight, whatever, and yet they still spew this hateful rhetoric. 1	My thoughts on some recent experiences - Rant Perhaps, the saying "ignorance is bliss" comes to mind. I've always had high awareness, it has positives and negatives. 5	My thoughts on some recent experiences - Rant I've noticed this kind of behavior from a very early age, teenage years. Nearing my 30s now and it has only gotten worse. I tell my fiance about these problems and how much worse it is for men who aren't "desirable" i.e shorter, balding, or whatever is deemed socially lower by women. It's messed up and shallow.
