It’s sad that women feel the need to say things like this to for men’s approval. LITERALLY WHO is this viewpoint serving other than men? And what “nuances” exist in being sexually attracted to cannibalism lol. There are worse things happening in the world than weirdos being “disempowered” from acting out their sick fetishes that are condemned by 99.999% of society.

Right, it gets a lot easier as they get older. 2 is really young but the more independent they get the easier it is.

How old is your daughter? It gets a little easier the older and more independent they get. I felt this way but out of a pandemic when I’m working and my daughter is at school, I try to spend an hour or two with quality focused time in the evening. It is usually enough, plus weekends. Don’t feel bad.

This post is slaying it lol. I find it hilarious that there are porn-sick scrotes obsessed with us that will target and harass women online because the internet is the only way they can pretend to have some dominant energy. Irl their testosterone count is too low from the constant sitting at home masturbating so they take it online. We see you!

I’m not sure to be honest. Other subs migrated to other websites but I was unfamiliar with the format and didn’t keep up. There may be other places but I wouldn’t know. Idk if there’s a discord for here, but even that confuses me. I’m simple

Might just be me but I’d be super hesitant to link to FDS anywhere on Reddit. Many related feminist subs have been banned, and every time another falls it breaks my heart a little. I don’t think I could survive if FDS went the same way. I would urge caution in linking it in other subs, like many here have already said message her directly perhaps.

Obviously, the comments are all calling her out for being “unreasonable”. They were together for 13(!) years and only just started looking at moving in together and getting married, so he’s quite clearly not a man who can provide in any way but yeah she’s a witch for wanting to throw away a shitty relationship that went on way longer than it should have. I’m just glad she finally had the guts to call the shots and kick him out.

Loved hearing your perspective on it. Preferential treatment of those deemed good looking is something that’s not really mentioned outside FDS that much. Obviously race comes into play also. I really think it’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t kind of choice, but that’s what it’s like being born a female in this world.

Yes there are degrees. Surer than anything that there’s women even on here that will say dump him queen in a heartbeat but when it’s their own lives, it’s just too difficult to let go of that not quite perfect but kind and stable boyfriend. The sad part of it is that you can level up and develop your mindset but real life can be a different thing entirely. We’re conditioned to think we’ll be miserable and lonely without a man and it takes years of unlearning that. So whilst it’s a little easier …

Oh god don’t get me started. Jane Austen has been described as “limited” because she wrote mostly about upper class women, but men literally wrote about their own lives and it was revelationary? Knausgård wrote SIX books about his own banal life, and this is a literary masterpiece apparently but women can’t write one book without being criticized. I read exclusively female authors during lockdown. Perkins-Gilman, Austen and George Eliot (male Pename!) the latter is the best author is history of …

Sis killed it with this one. Most women spend time, money and effort on their appearance, not because they’re vain, but because being clean and hygienic is a mark of respect to others and most importantly to yourself. If you look bad, with skin, hair, teeth and body you don’t look after, then how exactly is that going to put you in a positive mindset? Washing, brushing and minimal styling of hair, a basic skincare regime, teeth brushed and flossed twice a day and exercise is conducive to a posit…

Sadly this amount of affection is usually wasted on men. Doing this shit won’t keep a man, if he wants to cheat he’ll cheat.

Like, I find it hilarious how she’s “desperate” for daring to hope her husband might be attracted to her, but he’s not desperate for his almost definite addiction to teen porn or whatever other depravity these males like to partake in

Why is this a discussion? Yes, it is. I mean if you’re in a relationship and you do some small noises of encouragement (idk what else to call it) to help him know what you want that’s fine but if you’re just fake moaning and not actually enjoying it you’re feeding an already entitled mans ego. No thanks

Oh yeah I’ve definitely noticed this before. They don’t usually interact with the group other than to share pictures of themselves.

I do agree, you make great points, but I think our compassion and empathy is massively glorified and even praised/encouraged as it takes the burden off men. We definitely don’t know the relationship between these two friends, I guess I just don’t see selflessness to the point of taking on your time and money to buy someone a stuffed toy as particularly praiseworthy and we need to stop glorifying it and tbh get men to share the burden with us!

So people are sharing this as a cute feel good post but post FDS me is just thinking why would you do this? As women, we are socialised to care WAY too much and give up way too much of our time and money to helping others. Think about how charities target women specifically, it’s because we actually care. She’s obviously trying to help a friend but seriously, respect yourself. Don’t rush around wasting your time and petrol just to work yourself up into convincing yourself you’re helping fight in…

I’m a single mother who has just switched to an amazing new job, passed my test and got a car this year, moving house, and navigated WFH with a kid for three months in a global pandemic. 2020 is my year, I love mine and my daughters little life together. Meanwhile my daughters dad moved halfway across the world and asks for a picture of her once every two months... cool, enjoy your life I guess

I’m a girl boy twin and my brother is treated so much better than me. Whenever anything goes wrong it’s always my fault. So not an eldest daughter but I kind of get it.

“Please help me understand what to do”. This man isn’t posting because he wants genuine advice, he knows what he’s doing is wrong. He’s posting in the hope that some pickmes will feed his ego and lament how difficult it must be for him and they just need to WoRk It OuT. This is just next level cringe, this guy honestly thinks he’s in the top 1% partners of all time and wants his medal for it. Lmaoooo!

I don’t know if I’m puerile or farting is just inherently funny but this made me cry in laughter, this entire thread has hahaha. I totally know what you mean about those farts that you know he must have heard but they pretend not to, but it’s not like you can bring it up
