It can be like walking a tightrope. Not enough engagement and you're seen as distant and cold (or worse, not even noticed). Too much and you're seen as a tryhard, faker, edgelord, etc. It actually takes a lot of practice to get right unless you're naturally reserved and very good at reading people. Non-verbal skills, posture, and social intelligence are absolutely necessary to be successful in pulling off this type of vibe.

People can be pretty shitty man. It's not always a bad idea to let people think you're slow, particularly when you first meet them. That way you can quickly gauge their character.

Well, the supreme court actually upheld a ban in United States vs Miller. The Court cannot take judicial notice that a shotgun having a barrel less than 18 inches long has today any reasonable relation to the preservation or efficiency of a well regulated militia, and therefore cannot say that the Second Amendment guarantees to the citizen the right to keep and bear such a weapon. Yup, because a sawed off was NOT in current use by any conventional military power, it was considered unprotected. Y…

One specific case is that convicted felons can not ever own a gun, forever, for life. Which is, by definition, an act of congress infringing upon a natural born right... A direct violation of the Constitution. Also, a "felon," as defined by the ATF, is anyone convicted of a crime punishable by more than 1 year of incarceration. There's not a man on God's green earth who has not committed some "crime" punishable by more than a year. I don't know where I was going with this I agree with the rest o…

Clearly you didn't read the post you commented on -- or you missed the point entirely. Her response seemed pretty cold. Oh come on! A lot of the awesome sensations of eating, procreating, even drinking caffeine are really just different highs. Orgasms are a very powerful drug-like euphoric sensation - porn emulates it.

Weird. I'm pretty sure porn is like crack for your brain and reading works out your brain so dendrites grow and your brain's elasticity is increased - increasing your intelligence. I don't feel high reading - I feel like I'm working out the most important muscle in my body.

Anything that has an effect on dopamine and/or serotonin can be addicting. I.E. Eating. Molly. Coke. Video games. Pop music. Porn. etc. etc. etc.... Oh really? 20%? More than 1/3 of all people in the entire US are obese. Men at 33% and women at 36%. We're talking obese here as well, not just chunky or "average." How can 1/5 be unicorns when 1/3 is a land whale?

I don't want to be "that" guy here. But I believe you're referring to the legal term "duress." Duress is defined by: the pressure a person is put under to make him do something he does not want to do. But you're right. They can claim your condition of a prenup=duress in many states -- or it can easily be argued as such.

Going to prison for a crime you didn't commit will do things your psychological health. It's not about how much he would've made. It's about punitive damages. How much would you accept to piss away your 16-29 ages? And for all the world to see you as a piece of shit. And probably be raped. A lot. A million a year still sound like a good deal? I think not.

There isn't really a perfect parallel. Considering women can orgasm several different ways - I think it's a fair comparison. The foreskin has an insane amount of nerve endings that increase pleasure, sensitivity, and control tremendously.

More recent studies have failed to show that a soy-heavy diet increases estrogen True. However, it is my understanding that many of the processed soy products available in America are not the same as the natural soy products produced in say, Japan. Estrogen itself is not increased, but it tricks the brains receptors into activating - creating the same negative effects.

This is almost a maxim...I'm so tired of hearing "I like curves" or "I like em with a little meat on em" when describing clearly obese women. These people are just rationalizing away why they will never be with an attractive, thin woman - the same way land whales hate "guys with muscles."

That would be fine and dandy if that was their stated reasoning. But Zero Tolerance policies were their stated reasoning. If it were truly 0 Tolerance the instigator would be expelled too, even if he/she got his ass kicked.
/r/TheRedPill05/07/14 10:21 PM

You can just slap the bitch if she gets aggressive, breaking her jaw seems a bit extreme. We should probably apologize to Japan then. After all, they only destroyed a few military ships at ONE harbor. We should've just responded equally. P.S. I see what you're saying. But really, at the very least they both deserve expulsion - if 0 tolerance is their true policy - then the circumstances of the fight are irrelevant.

This could easily be it's own post. I agree. You make some good points. TRP isn't your typical "movement" - it's more like a self-help resource. Facing the fact we're not all special just by existing is a tough pill to swallow - it's easier to delude yourself and/or play the blame game.

I'm no spokesman for RP but I do the same as itsarusko. I try and mirror exactly what they did. I just make sure I'm only using (about?) 1/4 of what I thought I felt to be on the safe side (women are sensitive almost everything, especially physical pain). Maintaining aloof playfulness with a touch of stoicism is key - especially if other potential white knights are hovering. The point, like itsarusko says, is to let them know it's not OK. Don't you think it's more likely a child molester would seek employment in an environment that has children, rather than dirty garbage and burly men? You do have a point, but it's a really really weak one. There are a lot of factors to consider. But considering women are supposed to be docile and victims of patriarchy, it's absurd that 75% of cases suggest the opposite.

A very logical question. If I may...I think it's not always what one does, it's how it's done. What Rooster is trying to say, I think, is that an alpha will maintain his frame when he performs some "beta behaviors" and get away with it - like taking a pleasant girl out every once in a while... Whereas a beta cannot even attempt alpha behaviors NOR beta behaviors without coming out with the shit end of the stick. That's why maintaining solid frame is so important. The lesson to be learned here is don't end up homeless I'm pretty sure you missed the point entirely. Clearly, it doesn't matter how "wrong" a woman is - even when doing something incredibly low - she's always right. This can be applied to pretty much any interaction with women. The lesson to be learned is to tread carefully, even when you know you are right. You can tell most of those people were baffled by seeing a fairly attractive woman do something so awful that they were extremely hesitant…

I won't repeat his name, but a quick search of "misogynist California killer" will probably help you out. He was so frustrated with his feminist-friendly "beta" ways failing time and time again - that he snapped. Here at TRP we tend to discuss sexual strategy. Most men don't want an average looking girl. But to answer your question: today, "average" is essentially obese. What most people who aren't slobs call average is actually quite above average. Supply and demand makes what used to be averag…

Generally speaking women don't realize how many favors they are afforded because a "friend" really just wants to fuck them - and in their mind being "nice" and doing favors is the way to do it. This tends to breed an unconscious entitlement in her. Because she is receiving these favors, she must deserve them; and typically she does very little, if anything, to reciprocate. This also leads to quite a bit of resentment (like that omega California maniac), as any lopsided friendship becomes full of…

You've successfully described narcissism and the concept of narcissistic supply. "Narcissistic supply" is just another word for attention. Sure praise and adoration is their first choice, but any attention will do - it shows their internal locus of control (frame) is external; depending entirely on others to maintain their sense of self-worth. Ironically, narcissists (and most women by extension) are the most self-conscious and least comfortable people in their own skin. It's all just an egotist…

I have a relevant story. My sister and I got in a scuffle over some stupid shit when I was like 17 - my sister 19. She was choking me out from behind and scratching wildly so I basically just sat on her to minimize the damage. After I began to lose consciousness I managed to get up and get her off my neck. People who tilt their shake so their hand is on top are irritating and rather obvious - imo this makes them rude. I force their hand to level mine and grip extra firm when someone tries that, looking them square in the eyes and smiling. Then I ignore them. Solid eye contact a great way to counter some of these more obvious attempts to assert dominance and starts to get the male hamster spinning - bringing them into your frame. They usually overcompensate to your benefit.

This isn't the ways of RP. To expand on your thoughts. This is annoying as hell. There's no such thing as "the red pill way." The Red Pill is about truth, understanding, and using that knowledge to get what you want. Men know what they want and get it at any cost. That's RP as fuck. Your concept of honor and what's acceptable is totally up to you. Pragmatism is paramount. Machiavellianism 101.

Talk about having no life. I mean seriously, who has the time to try and suppress other people's ideas? In this case, opinions on how something might affect someone else entirely. Shouldn't the merit of ideas be enough to accept or decline? Censorship is control. Control the language and control the debate. Control the debate and control your circumstance. Tyranny of the masses is real.

Many psychopaths are also very narcissistic, giving them an iron clad confidence, the benefit there is obvious. This is only partially true, Narcissists only feign their confidence and high regard for themselves. Inside they are constantly struggling to keep their self esteem in check via "narcissistic supply."
/r/TheRedPill03/05/14 01:28 AM

Actually the only difference is semantics. The professional consensus on psychopathy/sociopathy is that there isn't one. They're thinking of redefining them because it gets everyone confused. There are so many different variations of psychopaths. For instance, narcissists are also a type of psychopath.

While I wishfully agree with you, my pragmatic side disagrees almost completely. Friends, even "true friends," are people. Just people. People get jealous, people brew contempt, people do stupid and immoral things. Do yourself a favor and remember your friends are people who, just like you, are susceptible to expedient comforts and pleasures. They may not, however, be as able or willing to refuse those expediences in the name of honor.

Law 2 Never put too Much Trust in Friends, Learn how to use Enemies Be wary of friends-they will betray you more quickly, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical. But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies. I've played CS for wayyy longer than I'd care to admit and honestly, that's hardly ever a problem in my experience. I guess it depends on the type of CS you enjoy. If you play competitively, the only thing that matters is your skill. It's practically a meritocracy. A psychopath (or narcissist) sees the person only in terms of the value they give to the psychopath. They choose to "pull the strings" when it it is a means to an end, even if that end is simply getting you to pay for their meal. This makes a psychopath extremely predictable, as the…
