Leave - find somewhere else to live or do the rock thing (i could not i had the option to leave thankfully) - it completely did my head in being in the same house and living like a couple in separate rooms, but you are not.

Help your self and do what is right for you - sounds like you need a lawyer quick smart before making any stupid decisions around money or child care.

Stop acting like your friends or still in a relationship - cause you are not - you are co-parenting in the same house, but you are your own people now - if she feels hurt cause your not feeding her emotional (her need to be involved) and physical needs (lunch) then you need to create some boundaries - Gray rock i had not heard of but i am doing that out of survival - i co-habituated for a number of weeks and it was no good for my own emotional well being or state of mind - i understand some coun…

yeah i should have read through all the comments - a couple of other thoughts, you could hire a bike, and in my country they have bucket racers - so sub 250cc bikes that race on go-kart track - you may be able to find something like that to fill the adrenaline side of things if thats what your after with less risk and training.

Also i have ridden for years and plan to get another bike once things are sorted. So go for gold but be aware the stats of new or returning bikers, and injury or death is high so take your time be safe learn to ride.

Buy a CHEAP secondhand bike, decent gear, and go on some riding courses. Get a sub 750 cc bike it will have more than enough power for you starting out. Then in a year or two once you have fallen off your bike, and not killed your self, buy a bigger better bike

Like chasing a dragons tail - move on you will never know and when you finally think you do you wont. Though bare in mind i am 2-3 months into separation soooo listen to those who have been there longer.

Cry - just let yourself cry when you need to. Some days are better than others, focus on the better ones - try new things. I found a kit where you create a bookend (might not work for you) but spent 4 or more hours just concentrating on that - intend to get more and try other things but be your real self. IT is ok to not pretend to be ok.

Your not roommates - don't even try this it wont work, and will do your head in. I did this for 2 months, and it was worse than just moving into my own place - depending on the rules in your country ask her to leave and not come back, arrange a suitable time to pick things up sort things out blah blah blah but do not try and co-habitate

Thanks all, i very much doubt she is having an affair, could be, don't care TBH, it is not going to change anything. I think she is projecting some of her own issues on me, but the marriage is done. I am slowly disconnecting as much as i can from her, and in my country there is a requirement for a 2 year separation then divorce. So working with my lawyer to progress that, and get what i can. There wont be any alimony as we both have good jobs so lucky there.

She has been talking to other people, it is more likely work people or girl friends - not another guy. But who knows.

Thanks, our son is 25, and trying to remain neutral. Yeah keeping my head above water is my goal for now, my job expires in a month or so, and once done with the house sale, i have enough to do almost what ever the fuck i like,

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
