If she had an affair with a guy with no record, that’s one thing. But this is a local and state wide child predator. My attorney remember’s when this story came out. My attorney is out of the same city “he” was a teacher. I have no idea if my girls have been around him since separation going back to November 2025.

Thanks for your input. Yeah we have been sharing the girls essentially 50/50 since beginning of the year. But we don’t have a set schedule because we can’t agree on one because she wants majority physical custody. But I’m praying because I have shown and documented that I have had the girls 50% of time will work in my favor.

Thank you for your input from all of you. Today was a great day. I had the girls today and we definitely made the most of it. Now they are 4&3 years old but when they say they want to stay at daddy’s house and not mommy’s house….that kills me to the core. Legally through all this, my attorney sent over to her and attorney our parenting plan for the girls. It’s not unexpected from “her” personally but it’s a 2-2-3. We have not been following that through separation going back to November 2025. I …

This is exactly what she is doing. I’m trying to hold it together, but I honestly don’t know how much more I can take. It feels like she’s already moved on emotionally while I’m still carrying the weight of everything we built together. I know divorce isn’t really a “win” for anyone, but right now it feels like I’m the only one grieving the loss of our marriage while she’s focused on moving forward. What hurts the most is the feeling of being disregarded after nearly 9 years together. She wasn’t…

Calls logs and texts proved there was a pattern. Timestamps played a big part in it. I obviously cant see what the text messages say. But proving a pattern is vital. And when it all came to the light during mediation, she confirmed she was having an emotional affair. The spotlight was too big for her to hold it in any longer. I still don’t believe it was just an emotional affair. But I will never know the answer to that but that’s fine.

Separation as in divorce? Because we are currently separated right now. Maybe I wasn’t clear on that. My bad. Thank you for your insights.

In the same boat. She filed early last month. We were living in separation on and off for a couple months prior. I thought it was helping but she did not. I still feel like restoration was dismissed before giving it a true attempt. I begged and begged for her to come back before I found out the true meaning why she wanted out. An emotional affair. We have two little girls. I feel totally rejected. But each day gets a little better. Hang in there. For me, my motivation is my kids and kids only. T…

I am not the breadwinner. Does this change strategy?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
