I feel great that I managed to do it. Whereas a friend of mine, for the last six months has been struggling to initiate a conversation with someone he likes working at the same place.

Trust me. It’s get easier every time. You may not feel a huge difference. I think it’s cumulative. I still struggle sometimes. However, when I look back at my first cold approach and the current one, there is a clear improvement.

It was towards the end. Just enough that I don’t come off as rude by only talking to her friend, to whom I expressed my interest.

Okay. I will try again and try not to be blown off by a harsh rejection.

Btw I went alone. I wanted to stay sober for the game so didn’t get a drink as well. I was walking around at first but eventually sat somewhere once I got blown off :D Also, does things like ethnicity matters a lot? I’m brown.

I may try starting fresh again tomorrow, going early before the place becomes too crowded.

This place is quite loud. Actually the two girls which I did approach was chosen randomly to test the 3-sec rule. Not because I was really attracted to them. But those responses blowed me off and lost the confidence to approach girls which I actually found cute there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
