I avoid therapy for that reason, I doubt you can find someone except maybe religious.

Tell the boyfriend, and there's no harm since you're not going to be friends with her anyways. You could tell him anonymously like someone suggested in the comments.

Well, to any man that you're interested in, make sure to reveal your past and be 100% honest, otherwise, you're not truly repenting. That can be the problem with born-again Christians. There might be a nice guy out there who's willing to forgive your past and help you through it, but would you find him high-value, or just another simp? And even if you found a high-value man, would you trick him or lie to him about your past, because you want him to settle down with you? A high-value man (my opin…

Are you attractive and do you have a nice personality (feminine, polite, reserved)? If you're giving feminist vibes, you might be attracting guys you don't find masculine. And usually, as the woman gets more educated, her options are very low, and it's becoming more of a problem nowadays as women are outdoing men in higher-level degrees. Have you ever rejected men? Or is the man you want rejecting you? What are you looking in a guy? What type of hobbies do you have? And do they really matter in …

Do you want this in the long-run? Being in an unhappy relationship where you're constantly worried if he loves you? I think men are capable to affection as well as being a provider and commitment. Being super affectionate is not exclusive to women. My bf is more affectionate than me and I try to be as well because it does bother him when I'm not as much. Communication is important, he can't read your mind. So, you can let him know you would appreciate it if he did more of "this" or "that". And i…

He seems suspicious. I would be wary of a 36-yr-old because they might know how to play women more or take advantage of them. You said you were in a situationship before, so be careful this time. And can you elaborate that he's from a "good family". From your post, it doesn't seem that you met his family yet or that he's even told them about you. I feel like this won't go anywhere and he sees you as hookup material, plus you're much younger than him. You should be talking about marriage and kids…

I agree, most religions say that cohabitation is bad because it leads to premarital sex, which is detrimental to society because you have less virgins and more resentment in relationships. Marriage is when a woman and man live together. Why should I play housewife for a guy who's may or may not marry me? It's basically gambling with my life. Let's say I do move in with my boyfriend and I do the things a wife does. Oh, and then we break up. And it's worse if there are children involved. It's easi…

Respect your bf/husband and don't be bitchy and nag. But you're also human, so being honest about your feelings is much easier than keeping everything inside. Do things without being asked to and show appreciation by complimenting him on what he does and how he's a wonderful partner. Women nowadays are unsatisfied with their marriage and many initiate divorce. Traditional gender roles are no longer a thing. When you're nagging your man and not seeing him as the head of the household, that's prob…

Make sure both of you are faithful to each other. It's easier to fall away from monogamy in a long-distance relationship. My current long-distance relationship is 10 months and we've only met once so far for 5 days, and it sucks. We try to talk every day on the phone and text "Good morning" "I love you" throughout the day. Misinterpretations can happen a lot so be patient. We also play computer games or board games on the phone. You could send pictures of what you're doing or selfies or flatteri…

You're basically a feminist since they're sex-positive and into that type of stuff. To be a feminine woman is to have self-control and temperance. Yes, men do get turned off, and a high body count means you're less desirable for marriage. Why would a guy who wants to be in a long-term relationship with you want a woman who's had many c*cks inside her compared to a woman who's had few to none? Who's more desirable? I'm waiting until marriage with my bf because the sex will the best long-term and …

Yeah, I don't mind his diet plan, but if it was forced on me like that, I would be very discouraged. I believe it's mostly on the person themselves if they want to eat like that. It's better to find people who eat similarly. I think it would be hard on me if I had a bf who was a junky but stayed thin, it would tempt me alot.

I'm just explaining the logic behind his arguments because I have some experience. And pork is generally unclean, it says in the Bible and there's a reason why Jews and Muslims avoid it. I do think he is controlling because fruit, legumes, certain carbs should also be fine. If she's not fat and doesn't have any serious health problems, that is weird that he is acting like that. I think she should have a serious talk with him and if he doesn't care, then she has to think about leaving? But, like …

I need a guy like him lol. My boyfriend hates when I eat too much carbs, pork (thinks that pigs are gross because they eat their own feces), and prefers a more keto-type/paleo of food. I have to do keto because of my PCOS, which has improved so much and my weight as well. Though, i do struggle time to time and I can pig out because of the immense pressure. I stick with the diet more consistently when I don't get shamed too much. Though, I appreciate some pressure to stick to it. I don't like pro…

Kissing may be okay if it's not French or super passionate (losing control). Holding hands and hugging are probably okay. I would probably do those things if we're guaranteed to get married though. Like, if I did those things and I broke up with the guy, I would be crushed and it would affect me a lot. I bond very easily so I would ideally want to save those things for my future husband only. My bf has held hands and cuddled with few girls but he regrets that and wished he saved it only for me. …

People who usually date losers tend to be losers themselves. It's all about perspective. I'm shy and a bit insecure, but my standards are strong. I don't want to destroy myself or my life with the wrong person. I'm also a bit of a people-pleaser, but I'd only be one around my husband. Date or find men who are better than you and make you respect them alot. Resentment in marriage can be dangerous long-term because the woman doesn't respect her husband. She sees him as a simp. He should have married you by now, and he's a Christian so it should be part of his agenda. And there might be a chance that he's taking advantage of you, a younger person, while gets older. But, for you, you could be wasting away your youth on a man that might not plan to spend the rest of their life with you. I would be cautious because you mentioned how you knew him for 12 years, so you guys were basically dating, unless you were pursuing other guys.

Because older women's fertility clock is ticking so they would likely rush into a marriage to have kids not for the long run. At least in my bf's experience that is. His mom married at 32 and then divorced his dad after 18 years of marriage with her cheating on him and her continuing to ride to c*ck carousel after that. My bf has been looking all his life and the girls his age are already whores, fat, and jaded. When he was in high school, he had a girlfriend who cheated on him with a guy in his…

I met my bf online on Reddit actually in Nov 2020, and we talked almost everyday. We both wanted marriage as the end goal and children. I flew to meet him a couple of weeks ago for the first time actually and it was good. Before that, my brother and my friends all said it was going to end badly because we might not click in real life or he might not find me attractive, he might be a catfish or I'm going to be used up. Modesty actually empowers women. Why give men who are not your husband/fiance a show? And lust is one of the deadly sins for a reason. These women who will abuse their sexualities when they're young and hot will face the consequences later. They're not thinking long-term, and only the ones who do will succeed and have good-quality families.

Well, I used to be an atheist but I gravitated towards religion later on. Religion also kept people in line. It also explains why women are much worse today because of the separation of the State. The government is to blame for feminism and divorce being allowed. Christianity made it so it's one man for every woman, and that's the best logical way in the long-term, but nowadays you have single moms and abortion being allowed. People are turning to religion during these degenerate times because i…

It's situations like these that probably cause divorce. Do you know marriages that have lasted for decades or even till one of the spouses dies? They have probably gone through worse. What do you think your boyfriend would do if you were in his situation, fat, miserable, and unmotivated? Would he leave or stay during the harshest of times? You need to be there for him, and vice versa. He'll appreciate it down the line, so please don't give up and stay strong.

If you want to be feminine and modest, wear a dress or skirt. It will make guys treat you more like a lady. Also, choose skirts that are at least below the thigh and wear leggings or black shorts underneath for extra security. You don't need to show your cleavage or butt, but form-fitting outfits are fine, which can be flattering. Also, if you feel like a blob, lose weight, because it will be hard to have more confidence. Also, focus on good posture and surround yourself with modest girls. If yo…

I agree, my bf has a lot of distrust in women as well but he has refused to sleep with them, has been tempted many times though. It would break him if he slept with a whore or a woman who would backstab him, because he sees sex as something that should be in marriage, which is what I believe as well. And yes, it's disappointing how women have degraded themselves this much. And I do kind of agree with the college woman thing, but high school girls suck just as much, it's hard to see the good girl…

Exactly, I actually heard of men becoming broken after hooking up alot. Men who sleep around can just be damaged as women who do the same. And many men would rather have a girlfriend or wife rather than do with a prostitute.

That's why I could never be with a guy like that. I would highly prefer a guy with no experience because I have none. I would feel jealous knowing that my partner had hooked up with girls and touched their bodies. Men who think they should have a bunch of sex with whores before finding a virgin or a good girl are disgusting.

You shouldn't be sleeping with someone after 2 months of breaking up with your ex, it makes you undesirable for future partners. And most of the replies says that your ex is bad so I guess I don't have to say it.

It's up to those men to decide if they want to wife you up regarding your history. Because there are still (rarely) girls who don't have that past. I think that saying has a lot of meaning actually. But you may be an exception.

I agree with your tips. The only time I'd spend time with a guy friend would be shopping, taking a short walk outside, or hanging out in a public space (better with a group of other people). I would NEVER hang out with them in their room or in a confined space. And this is not a regular thing. And ask yourself, how would you feel if your bf was hanging out with a female friend all the time and spending one-on-one time. Intermittent/water fasting helps alot because majority of weight-loss is cutting back calories and the amount of food you eat. Also, make sure you're not emotional eating so focus on reducing stress and get enough sleep (being sleep-deprived can make you eat more).

She's a hoe, it's obvious from the start. Any girl who wants to explore the nightlife is definitely hooking up with guys because they'd be getting drunk. Also, anyone who has a problem with drinking and driving, are disgusting people. This is totally irresponsible. Also, premarital sex is not allowed, it's reserved in marriage for a reason. And uhh, she was probably cheating on you from the start. And don't let her represent ALL females, that's offensive. This type of girl, you can tell if she's…

I heard marriage is better with traditional gender roles, which includes cleaning for your husband. Women like to feel protected and look up to a strong leader. But, if you're also working then I guess you could divide the chores based on what's more feminine. Eg. taking out the garbage could your husband's, and dishes could be yours. I mean you could do your own laundry and he his, but do you think that would make your marriage better?

I think the purpose of marriage licenses was to regulate who got married. Made it more official and it's documented. Also, you need witnesses and submit proof of ID. Also, without marriage being regulated, anyone could get married like underage people, etc.

So, if no-fault divorce and the monetary loss of divorce didn't exist, would you still consider legal marriage?

Would a virgin want to be with a non-virgin though? Women can get jealous as well. I honestly, think you're hypocritical for wanting to be with a virgin but it's up to that virgin girl if she wants to be with you. That's why I think virgins should be virgins and the same with non-virgins. It's just easier in my opinion.

A church would require a license to marry you. Also, cohabitation under the government is always seen as "common-law".

Don't bother. Once you get that husband, her smirk will be wiped out and maybe she'll actually respect you. Your mom is not really your mom anymore, meaning she's not raising you. So, basically, you're both adults and if she's rude to you or disrespects you, treat her like any other person. Don't talk to her. Go no contact if you need to again. I heard from the red pill (men) that 25 and over would be undateable for them for some reason, assuming they're deep in their careers and have more sexual experience (which is a bad thing). So, the less entitled and sexual experienced you are, the better. Also, make sure you're lean and have good skin. If you want the best man, you should be the best yourself. Also, be humble and don't let your pride get to you.

I like being submissive because there's less conflict and tension in the relationship not because I get off of it. Also, the Bible does say women should submit to their husbands but it's also logical as well. Nowadays, women are the ones bossing their husbands even though it's supposed to be "egalitarian". The truth is, nothing is truly equal. There will always be one side dominating the entire time. And I'm sorry, but I'm not attracted to emasculated men. However, I can also be dominant and I'm…

Have you read the Catechism? And homosexuality is illogical, there's the risk of AIDS, anal sex has health problems, and no reproductive function, purely hedonistic. Same with contraception. And to fix AIDS, simple, stop having premarital sex. If everyone waited for marriage, people would be less angry, less divorces, children would be in stable families. And what do atheists put their value in? Money, sex, fame, aliens, materialistic things, etc.? That can create a sense of nihilism at the end. That's why poor people are likely to become more religious. Have you noticed that as church attendance or religiosity goes down, degeneracy goes up. Funny how I've seen the opposite in people. Once you experience it, you have to keep doing it to numb the pain or it becomes a high for you. I'm waiting until marriage because I don't want my judgement being clouded by sex or infatuation. And sex is a pretty big deal, you're basically using people for their bodies if you're not doing it in the bounds of marriage. Not believing in anything, can make you like that. What's the point of living, how do you find the meaning of life? And, that was from personal experience and you can also read about it. Atheists tend to put meaning in other material things, hence why we celebrate sports, celebrities, idols so much over something like God, which is selfless.

Waiting it is not always religious. Pretty sure people also do it because they're very protective over the emotions. Myself, I am the same, except I am religious and I sought after it after I saw how nihilistic atheism was. I guess, I only was able to find nicer clothes on SHEIN, and I guess other stores sell "modest" clothing but it's so fricking expensive. And Old Navy has them I saw but again, not worth the price. And, I have to complain because every store nowadays or in the mall is basically a crop top and high-waisted whatever. I'm sorry but I don't endorse hooker clothing and wouldn't want my daughter buying them.

Lol what?? That's great. Yes, I'm into simple but appealing, I'm pretty minimalistic. Like I obviously want to be attractive to the opposite gender but in a good way, like not getting catcalled or those types of looks. I'm working on improving my skin actually and diet.

Thanks but I think it's a bit too much for me.

I guess, I remember straightening my hair one time, wearing heels, or a skirt, and people were like oh you look nice to me. I'm really shy as well so I guess I'm hypersensitive to other people's perception of me. I will try that, thanks.

Your butt is more accentuated. Modesty is covering your backside not showing it off. Plus, what happened to low-rise clothing? I can't find anything of it in clothing stores.

I struggle with being girly because I'm still in my tomboyish phase like the feeling of being vulnerable through clothing kind of intimidates me. I do have some t-shirt dresses and that's a great start, I agree. Thank you, I think I'm also worried about what other people think of me, I'm a people pleaser, unfortunately.

Yeah I can see that, I heard it makes you look taller. I'm 5ft4 and I do wish I was taller lol. So, I find maxi skirts don't really help, they go all the way to the floor.

It shows your butt, and I've been raised that it's immodest to show that part. If you look at social media influencers, it's the butt that's being sexualized and it's no surprise that high-waisted fashion is trying to do the same. The only high-waisted I would consider are skirts but low-waisted is way more comfortable for me. Also, I tried on high-waisted jeans before and I was pretty uncomfortable sitting down. Like what if you just ate, you'd be bursting at the seams. And thank you for your a…

Both children should be tidying their room, you don't want your son to become lazy. You also don't want your daughter being spoiled. Both should be treated the same. And there's nothing wrong with teaching your son to cook and bake as well. My brother doesn't really know how to do chores because my mom does them for him. I taught myself or observed my mom. My brother is going to struggle when he lives on his own. And women are impressed when the man knows how to cook and clean. What would happen…

I don't really like when the guy pays, and I prefer paying for my own food, I order minimal stuff anyways. And I rather just do something free rather than waste money at a restaurant. I'm also a student. My bf is 29 but I don't expect him to pay for me, he can do it when he feels like it, I shouldn't have to force him.

This made me angry, I seen so many guys do this to girls, use them, pump and dump them. That's why I'm waiting for marriage, I could never be able to face this, I'm not that strong. I have always been skeptical of men's nature since I was young, probably cause I was teased by them and I also so my female classmates go through relationship after relationship. And I was like what's the point of dating just to get hurt? You're not going insane, this guy is a bad person. He probably didn't have good…

Try intermittent fasting and keto or elimination diet. Also look into glycemic index which is foods that will spike your blood sugar, which will make you more hungry and crave more food. Sleeping less is correlated with weight gain. Also, I would check for PCOS maybe. I had irregular periods and was overweight in high school, my ovaries have cysts. The doctor prescribed Metformin or birth control. I didn't want to take birth control cause of side effects so I started looking into all sorts of di…

I don't know how girls can put up with this, that would make me pull out my hair and probably affect my mental health. And young girls are exposed to this, I don't want my daughter thinking she needs to put so much pressure in her physical self just to impress a man.

Lol, I can relate alot. I used to get comments like that, "oh wow, we haven't heard anything from you, why are you so quiet"? So I try to engage as much as possible. And your gf asking if you were taking a shit, uhh yeah, that would have been so embarrassing. I would have just ran away and hid. Bathroom jokes are so cringey to me. I think I can be pretty prudish but that has always been my personality. I don't care and not everyone has to be the same. It seems that the people you were hanging ou…

I would say I'm recovering from bad sleep, poor diet, and low self-esteem (high school) and my skin has cleared up immensely, my PCOS has improved, I lost a lot of weight, and I've been trying to be more involved socially. I'm 21 now. I used to be bullied and isolated in school, I didn't have many female friends. I had bad eczema and was kind of negative I guess. You do have a chance to turn it around, the body can heal itself. I saw this story where this woman in her 40s quit sugar or something…

I joined a Church club at my school for this very reason. Now, I'm working on getting myself involved in Church programs and going to mass so I can connect with like-minded people. Otherwise, you could try finding girls in introverted places like the library, women's clubs, drawing/pottery classes, etc. You said you want someone to do the listed activities, so you should join maybe fb groups for those activities or sign up for those types of classes.

I'm in Toronto, Ontario, in Canada. And my favourite old Hollywood actor would be Joan Crawford. I do wear pants lol because I feel that's what most girls wear, and I'm pretty shy to wear something more girly because I'm afraid of people staring at me. I do compensate by wearing colourful accessories, dangly earrings, and scarves. I'm also a tomboy. But, I'm working on talking a bit more elegantly lol. That's what drew me to older movies, the way the women talked, it wowed me.

That's weird, I don't really have that problem but I'm an INTJ so I guess I can be off-putting. I can come off as too serious, and I don't really smile. I did have a weird encounter when I think an autistic guy randomly said hi to me while I was waiting for the bus. Also, when I was in university, this guy developed a crush on me and I tried to downplay it and started avoiding him alot. He apparently was abusive to his gf or ex from what I heard. And one time, he wanted my help on homework while…

I'm interested, I'm 21 and came to RP when I was 18/19. I also been lurking this sub for 2 years. I like watching older movies (with gender roles) and love fashion. I'm trying to wear more skirts and dresses. Also, I'm working on improving myself physically and mentally.

I can relate. It depends how they are with their issues, if they're ashamed of their porn addiction and are willing to change, I would be lenient. But, I definitely liked guys who ended up being degenerate, it's annoying. I find church guys are usually better. And, do not give the time of day to a guy following instahoes, just don't. Girls nowadays already struggle with their body image, so you don't need a guy making you more insecure.

Definitely, older sounds good. Guys your age are in school and haven't started on their careers. They could be dating for long-term but push for marriage later. I'm the same age as you and the maximum age that I would go for would be 32. Just because it wouldn't feel like that relationship like a sugar daddy. Find a guy with who you can connect with mentally and that you're on the same page for children, marriage, gender roles, etc. And I can relate with being a homemaker as a wife and I feel gu…

I don't even apply makeup except for foundation if my skin looks bad. I also deal with skin problems so yeah, it sucks. I find sleep and diet are the best solutions. You're lucky that your husband doesn't care, so why put in the effort. My opinion on makeup is that it should be a special occasion thing.

I don't think you can do much, he had built up resentment. You should just work on being a nice wife from now on.
