Body language is everything when someone can't hear you. You have to go full gorilla in louder settings. That means more physical contact quicker. You can definitely use loudness to your advantage, though, because this means you can lean in closer when you talk to them. You should use short, economical sentences. Don't use sentences over seven or eight words. A nice move when it's very loud is to put your hand on one of their shoulders and lean in to tell them something in their other ear. It bu…

consistently true? It's not universally true that a friend cannot become a romantic interest, but women will certainly mentally "classify" men and then ignore (often obliviously) romantic gestures from men they've already categorized as non-sexual. I don't speak for all women, obviously, but this is what I've observed.

"Nice guys" don't necessarily pretend to be nice - they may be genuinely nice people. What's wrong with a "nice guy" is that he has the expectation that a girl will date him simply because he's "nice". He thus befriends women and sets about proving how nice he is and gets frustrated/angry/confused when they don't want to date him.

Yes, it's happened. There are women who keep a guy around by dropping hints when not interested. No, it's far less common than you are thinking. Most women are not comfortable around potential suitors and will not want to be close friends with someone who they think is "into" them. Most women are also clueless and will genuinely miss obvious signs of interest from male friends. In their minds, friends and romantic interests are completely separate worlds. Thus, nearly all women do not try to kee…

Count me as one of those people who thinks that too many people go to bullshit therapy, but... man, you should really talk to a therapist. I know a friend who had guilt about a suicide (he was the last person a friend talked to before committing suicide, and the warning signs were there, etc). He took months to get over it, and when he did, he did so with the help of a good therapist and support from his close friends. Get off the internet for a while, and spend time with people who love you.

This really depends on context. Seduction is all about congruence, and you really need to cultivate an "image". A lot of these tips are targeted towards broke 20-somethings and should change with your own personal situation. For instance, I have a friend who's a investment banker and he's from Georgia. He picks up the tab for any woman, including me (his platonic friend) when we go out to a bar. His entire "image" (successful professional, southern gentleman) would suggest he pay for a date. On …

I never tell guys I have a boyfriend when I'm out, because I get the same five lines about 75% of the time ("I have a pet dog", "He can drive us to dinner", etc). Instead, I just say firmly "not interested, move on", and if they persist past the point of common courtesy, I start actively critiquing their technique (dropping lots of PUA lingo to make it obvious I'm well-acquainted with the seduction community), which makes them uber-embarrassed, especially when I'm in mixed company.
/r/seduction03/10/11 12:22 AM

But you know what really pisses me off? When I talk to a girl for a few minutes and things seem well, and she randomly drops she has a bf in the conversation. I know not to fuck with that shit and move on. Seems like she's doing you a favor by letting you not waste your time.

If the boyfriend is actually there, it's a very bad idea to try and number-close, both for your health and for the pickup - if a woman is into you enough to give you her number when she has a boyfriend, she will overtly say so. Most women, however, will be turned-off if you ask for their number after she explicitly tells you she's "in love" with her boyfriend. Who is standing right there.

Yes, it's bad form. Not every girl will look down on it, but enough will that it's not worth it. If it's a small gift card, it's no huge loss. If it's a large gift card -- you shouldn't be spending that much money on a first date. /woman.

Female here. Hit the gym. I have never met a man who is extremely physically fit (ie: you can tell at a glance that they work out) who I thought was any less than a 6 in attractiveness. Individual womens' mileage may vary, but it's generally true that fit is, for a woman, at least a +3 on the attractiveness scale.

An easy, low-risk alternative is to ask for her email. The only problem is that it feels like a little bit of a cop-out. It is better than nothing though, so if you really feel like you're not able to ask for her number, you'd might as well get her email. I will assure you though, you are underestimating the number of girls who will say, "he seemed to like me - why didn't he ask for my number?"

Woman here. Let's go point by point: Why is being an alpha male so important? Because alpha males get the most girls. No one has ever said "oh no, I can't date him - he's too cool, sexy, and alpha-male for me". How acceptable is it to judge women based on their sex appeal? Trust me, women do it all the time. I don't judge all men based on their sex appeal, but when I'm looking for someone to date, I definitely do. Men do the same. It's natural and healthy. I wouldn't recommend conducting a job i…

I probably have Asperger's syndrome which interferes because I do not have an innate ability to read facial expressions and body language. Also, it makes eye contact extremely awkward. I have studied, learned, and do very well in many situations but I just cannot identify attraction on her behalf. If given a verbal and/or logical cue, I'm right there in the moment and feel okay to move forward. Once that "line" has been crossed I don't have any problems. I think this is a generational gap. Facebook friending is considered a more socially-acceptable "first step" than giving out a phone number in the 15-20 demographic. Plus, most girls of that age put their phone number on their facebook anyways.

Having a girlfriend does help your game, but it is also very unethical to date a girl for the purpose of getting another girl. Leave her better than you found her, and don't try to rationalize.

You have a lot of good ideas, but I think you're underestimating the extent to which a simple opener can make a woman much more receptive to poking fun at herself.

Call her and ask her to grab coffee or something else innocuous. She will not say no. Ignore your history. Reboot entirely.

Because if you'd "wasted" 10 seconds, she wouldn't react badly to it anymore. Because reactions are contextualized and don't take place in a vacuum. Your belief that a girl who reacts poorly to a line of yours "isn't worth your time" is a limiting belief - you're treating her decision to accept or reject you as beyond your control, when in reality you can easily swing the odds with a few simple opening lines. Let's say you go into a club, walk up to a girl you don't know, grab her by the back of…

Ignore her for a few days. If she's really playing hard to get (and not just uninterested), she'll start going crazy. You need to read whether or not she's low interest (in which case, you need to escalate) or playing hard to get (in which case, you need to feign disinterest)

I'm a woman involved in PUA, and I get this question a lot from fellow gals. I'm not an expert in this department, so I'll leave it at a few observations: What really sucks for women is that it's much harder for them to break past their appearance. They can be the sweetest girl in the world, but if they're born with an unattractive face, they're not going to command the attention of a certain segment of guys. There are much fewer limits with guys, partly because there's less agreement on what co…

Staying in sets doesn't necessarily lead to success. Getting blown out never does. Unless you have a good reason to go all-or-nothing (there are cases where this is the positive-expectancy play), you shouldn't bother.
/r/seduction23/06/10 11:38 PM
2

Women: Low risk and by the book Seduction tactics are concerned with maximizing your chances of success. From all the sets you've opened you mean? No, but I've winged more sets than you've opened. You've never even used this line and suddenly you're an expert on how it works.
/r/seduction23/06/10 11:24 AM

You're probably talking too fast. Basically everyone who gets into PUA talks too fast. Tell the story twice as slowly.

Be honest. "Do you love me" DO NOT say you a love a girl if you do not. That kind of shit is weak and pathetic. "Do you love me" is a shit test. Do not lie and say yes - if you haven't had any kind of physical relationship, she does not expect you to say that you love her. Say, instead, that you don't know her well enough to know whether or not you love her, but that you think she's a really cool girl who you enjoy spending time with. And then get down to business. "Do you have a girlfriend" I d…

/r/seduction23/06/10 03:46 AM

I'm not sure what that means, but I think it's pretty obvious what works and what doesn't. Read the Game, Mystery Method, or anything else. You don't lead with a neg, and a blown opener is no opener at all. You need to re-open.
/r/seduction23/06/10 12:23 AM
3

I disagree, and here's why: Negs are good once you've established interest - interest in a conversation, at the very least. Negs are not good as openers, because they come across as assholish. Take, for example, a friend of mine. He went up to a girl (who I know a bit - a very sweet girl) at a party and said, "are you a hipster?" in a playful way. She was wearing pretty stereotypically hipster attire. The girl got a bit irritated by the question, gave him a curt answer, and turned away. That sam…
/r/seduction22/06/10 11:24 PM
1

That's getting a little confrontational - the problem with this response is that it sets up a "you don't know me" moment on her part, and lets her walk away in a huff, or at the very least somewhat irritated. The line you quote is very easy to pull off wrong, and even if you pull it off without offending her, you still give her the option of just walking away. The best kind of follow-up to someone who blows out your opener is a re-opener, not a neg.
/r/seduction22/06/10 10:55 PM
3

Even if it's hopeless to ever date this girl - and it seems like it pretty much is - you can still leverage your friendship (and hey - having friends is good) into widening your social circle and meeting more girls. Guys in high school and college don't realize how hard it is to meet women outside of target-rich environments. Keep your female friends, even if at one point or another you wanted to date them.
/r/seduction22/06/10 02:56 AM
1

I asked a 1-set where the nearest McDonalds was and she replied rather haughtily that she wouldn't know "Really?" is a proper response here. Don't imply she's fat or anything, but act stunned that she of all people, wouldn't know. Other good responses include, "so you're more of a Wendy's girl?" or "where do you eat, then?"

When you go on a date, it's yours to lose. She's primed to consider you a sexual/romantic partner. She wouldn't have decided to go on this date if there was 0% interest on her part.

it ethical? Yes. Is it natural? No. Who gives a shit? Makeup's not natural. High heels are not natural. But if natural is "what people do", then sure, learning how to get better at meeting and attracting women is completely natural. Do you ever feel like you are tricking the girl instead of letting her make her own choice? Attraction is not a choice. But, of course, a woman can be attracted to you and choose not to date you or sleep with you. You're merely making yourself more desirable. It's st…

This is a lot of fancy psychobabble that boils down to this: Girls don't like to sleep with guys right away for many reasons, some social and some biologically innate. The biological ones you can get around with attraction. The social reasons you need to get past by constructing a situation in such a way that she can plausibly say to her friends the next morning that "it just happened".

This isn't your story, is it? Nope. Kinda wish it was, though. The retelling makes it seem so glam-tragic. This is a great insight.

It is so very much hilarious that you don't notice the irony here. What's the irony? That I attack your use of an insult with one of my own? If you use a condom correctly, there is a 0% of getting a girl pregnant. No sperm means no fertilization means no baby. Unless your condom tears or overflows or you put it on wrong, there is going to be no sperm going from your dick into her vagina. The "2% annual pregnancy rate" is statistically derived. It's not based on the science of condoms. Simply put, most people don't know how to put a condom on properly, store the condoms poorly, and don't always wear a condom. This is one of the most m…

I basically learned that the "sitting and waiting with patience" hunter strategy doesn't work. I'm not needy, just genuinely nice if someone is willing to receive it, which she wasn't, so buh bye. Onto the next girl. Only partially the right lesson. Disguising sexual or romantic interest is incredibly disingenuous and harmful. The next time you're interested in a girl, don't only be "genuinely nice" to her. Be forthright in your interest and intention. She was completely "willing to receive it",…

C1-3 has been largely debunked awhile ago. If you've ever listened in on a conversation amongst women before going out, they're looking to get laid just like us. No. Women need C1-3 in order to justify to themselves and to their friends their sexual adventurism. After they sleep with a guy, they want to be able to tell their friends something cool about the guy. They want to say that they just "clicked". And frankly, women are a lot more turned on by emotional closeness than men. C1-3 is necessa…

I meant "out" as "at a bar". Of course it's not universal - but to paraphrase Will Smith, women do not wake up NOT wanting to meet the man of their dreams.

Well, I have a boyfriend. So, it's zero. Most guys who come up to me are decently engaging and intelligent (comes from being in college, I guess). A lot of them are pretty massive tools with huge egos though (comes from being in college). I'd say if I was single, I'd probably go on a date with about 1/6 of them. I'm not a casual sex kinda girl though, so that number would probably be close to zero.

Riff off of him. Use him as a foil - when he says something off-putting, say something like "we don't let him out of the house a lot", and move on. As girls you're talking to, "do you have any nice girls for him" and play matchmaker for him (this is a GREAT way to disarm girls). Tell them he's Ringo in your band and ask her who her favorite Beatle is (and make fun of her choice, whatever it is). But you can always talk to him about it if you think he'd be a good wingman.
/r/seduction16/05/10 02:03 PM

Interesting direct game, but ultimately is a little off-putting. You don't know anything about this guy. You shouldn't try to compare yourself to him - you should try to make him irrelevant.

I'm going to define "pick-up rate" as women obtained divided by women approached. The "number of times you go sarging" number is obviously troubling because the number 1 thing that PUA teaches you is to approach lots of women in a single evening. If that's our definition, then there is no pick up artist who has a 50% pick-up rate. A pick-up rate that high means that they're swooping low-hanging fruit, rather than reaching. Frankly, there are few human beings who can get a 50% pick up rate. Maybe…

Prom is the worst time to run game. Be a gentleman, hold the door, get the corsage, and be attentive to her. She wants a romantic experience - give it to her. If she's 16 or 17, she's not old enough to run real game on anyways. If she's said yes to going to prom with you, she'll probably be game for a kiss or more.

The 4chan nerd stereotype is undeniably white and pimply. Asians can easily come across as losers, but not as creepy. (At least not to the vast majority of American women)
/r/seduction10/05/10 06:17 AM

I think it's a byproduct of them being generally stereotyped as desexualized, non-aggressive, and culturally respectful. Of course it's not impossible, but I'm just saying that if you're an Asian male and you whip out a bottle of chloroform at a bar, people will assume you're doing your chem homework.

Drop the Latino bars. Go to white bars. (I've always found that my latino friends are unimpressed by black guys) There will be a percentage of girls who will not hook up with a black guy, but that's true of any demographic (eg: some girls won't hook up with short guys, some girls won't have sex with a guy they just met, some girls won't date a guy who isn't make six figures...) The upside of being black is that you get the positive stereotype of being sexually knowledgeable and capable. No one a…

(Note: this applies to American culture) Asian guys have a few advantages in game. For one, it's very hard for a young Asian man to come off as "creepy". For another, you can immediately grab attention by being a physically-fit Asian male, a peacocking Asian male, or even just an assertive and confident Asian male. One of the best naturals I know is an Asian frat boy at a Big Ten school. He was born in China and has a thick Chinese accent, but he has a bunch of things going for him: It's basical…

It's really really hard to approach a random woman on the street, and basically any of these three things disqualify a pick-up attempt. The kids are the least of your problems (if she's on the phone, it's just plain rude, and if she's really in a rush, she'll probably be more irritated than anything else). If she has kids, she may be open to an approach, but not only is there a high probability she's already involved with someone, but her maternal protectiveness will kick in, and she will not be…

As a woman, I think this is stupid that twoX focuses on shit like this. This guy clearly had a screw loose - it had nothing to do with her being a woman and him being a man; he probably would have shot his friend over losing a game of Halo.

Guys aren't going to take your hat, specifically because that kind of bullying makes them look a little gay. After all, girls take your hat when they want attention from a guy. If a guy does take your hat in the presence of a girl, he's looking for an out-and-out fight and is probably drunk. Don't give it to him. Work it into your routine (eg: tell your girl - "That hat kinda works on him, but I think it would look silly on you")

And honestly if the girl is wont/doesn't want to wear borrowed shoe's, chances are she's not my type of girl. This is why I said "depends on the girl". And just because they might not be YOUR type of girl doesn't mean she's not the OP's kind of girl.

Rock Climbing is a little intense for a first date, as is an amusement park (although not a local fair). Bowling verges on cliche and can be hit-or-miss (ie: depends on the girl - some girls don't enjoy a first date where they have to wear borrowed shoes). Mini-golf and coffee shops are the best option - bars and parties are filled with potential competitors.

In my definition, someone who is "too much of a gentleman" is the kind of guy you wait around for a kiss from, and you know he wants to kiss you, but he's too "respectful" to do so. The funny thing, of course, is that the "respectfulness" is usually just an adaptation to compensate for his crippling fear of rejection, ridicule, or public disapproval.

Call her up and give her a day, time, and plan. Something simple and casual. If she says that time doesn't work (bc of her hours), and she's actually interested, she'll try to reschedule. Do not make her excuses for her (ie: "I know you're busy, but...."). Let her brush you off - don't brush yourself off for her.
/r/seduction11/04/10 09:17 PM

I'm telling you that there's really no such thing as an Average Frustrated Chick. AFC-ness is a state of mind, but it's one that girls don't fall into because they don't need to do approaches. When a girl says "you look young", it's either two things. Flirting. This is less common when you're in the 18-25 range, and more common the older you get and the more youth becomes a positive attribute. A brush-off; a kind of way to say "you're don't look like the guys I usually go for". Your response doesn't accomplish anything. It's not particularly funny. It doesn't keep the conversation going. It's barely flirtatious - good flirting is about playfulness - simply aggrandizing yourself isn't …

My advice? Actively freeze her out of a sexual relationship with you until she breaks up with her boyfriend. Put no pressure on her. She'll come if she wants you. Example strategy: Start pursuing other girls and while you flirt with her, mention casually how you should double date.
/r/seduction17/03/10 04:06 AM
2

You had two options: Tell her not to invite her ex-boyfriend over. This is potentially difficult though, because she clearly wanted him to come over. It seems as though at this point, you'd already failed. If your girl is more interested in having her exbf over than chilling with you... something went wrong. Bounce before he leaves. The minute he walks into the room, he will be the center of her attention. Remember: she invited him over with you already there. It's part shit test, part her being…

I hate to make a post about this, but you should really reconsider this position. You shouldn't take dating advice from women who think about how they would want you to act if they were your woman. THAT is the problem - they start telling you to act like a wuss because they think that's what they would want. But if a woman tells you how to get a girl to have sex with you an hour after meeting her? She's probably giving decent advice.

You're largely right, but you have one essential thing wrong: You might not be able to get that girl. Even the best pick up artists in the world can't get every girl. You're not the best seducer the world has ever seen. There will be girls that you will never be able to get (or get back). But there are plenty of girls who are just as beautiful, just as hot, and just as interesting that you can get. That's why you should have an abundance mentality.

Statements like that are damaging to the seduction community because it creates an "us versus them" mentality of men versus women. Women are not the enemy of the aspiring pick up artist. Other men are. All women are going to mate - the real question is who do they mate with? The woman is your customer, and you're selling her a product. If you're a good salesman, you'll have a customer eating out of the palm of your hand. A bad salesman will lose the customer in the first three seconds. (This is …
