For me being upfront works really well, actually (on dating apps at least). I frame it as "Looking for FWB only" (i.e. casual, but not a ONS). Even my first message is "Hi, I'll be direct, I'm looking for FWB only", because a lot of them don't read bios, lol. In truth, this way you get way less matches & less frequently, also you get rejected a lot more, BUT the matches you get are "quality matches" and you waste a lot less time on chats or dates that go nowhere. And, obviously, you sleep better…

Why not ask it earlier in the chat? Why wait to meet IRL to bring it up?

Hi, were you ever able to find that particular video? Only one I can't find as well...

Thanks, dude! Only video I can't find is "Tyler's Street Game Revealed - How To Approach Girls Respectfully Without CREEPING Them Out" - do you have that one?

Thanks and I agree with what you're saying, but the context of my question is a little different (I think Reddit hid the post's text below the title, because it was too long, lol).

For me this has the opposite effect. I imagined it would be like you described, but in reality, I think I wasted a lot more time trying to do that first approach, simply because I knew I could do it at any time and sometimes that took forever since there was nothing that set a "deadline" for when the goal should be completed. I stumbled upon an interesting article on this topic and it reflects my experiences so far: http://stephenguise.com/is-it-better-to-base-your-goals-on-time-or-quantity/ Rig…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
