"Family lawyer" is gilded for lampooning the suffering of men who have the audacity to be outraged as they're raped by divorce. "Don't blame me, blame the computer!"Not really post worthy. Here in Australia, its a standard formula that sets the amount based on who's working, their salary and whether they have dependents from another partner. Theres even an online calculator that you can use. I find the idea of child support being set by a judge to be grossly unfair and the amount can vary wildly and difficult to dispute | /r/MensRights | 31/05/16 04:24 AM
Wife of Johnny Depp goes after his 400 million dollars wealth and she hits him hard when he's sad and down: two days after his mother's deathBut she managed to get Depp kicked out of their house. She also tried to keep his car and even applied for an intervention order against Depp for her dog. Not only that but pictures have been released of her out on the town the day after the alleged incident of her partying and no marks. I'm calling this as I see it. The gold digger faked the assault in a bid to control Depp and gain an advantage in the divorce battle. | /r/MensRights | 28/05/16 02:16 PM
tell me again how female CEOs are better?Women are neither better or worse than men at running companies, at least not so far as we know. Which is what I've also reiterated. There is nothing about MRA discussion here at all, more just about the style of the CEO which can apply across both genders. | /r/MensRights | 26/05/16 08:50 AM
tell me again how female CEOs are better?Oh I agree completely. This isn't certainly not a gender issue, just a judgement of her actions which are not gender specific at all. | /r/MensRights | 26/05/16 04:45 AM
tell me again how female CEOs are better?Marissa was absolutely horrible in her role. Employees reported very low morale and tougher working hours. Meanwhile, Marissa and her executive cohorts enjoyed lavish parties and gifts without ever seeing a boost in the trade value of their shares. For a company that was doing it tough, she sure lived like a queen on its dime. She did the exact opposite of what you do within a failing company (Slash jobs & spending, refocus on the product being sold, etc) | /r/MensRights | 26/05/16 03:44 AM

Rise in men taking out domestic violence orders against mothers and partners at Southport Court: “That’s one of the dynamics of domestic violence, that the man comes off looking like he is a perfectly great guy but is often the perpetrator and uses the system to control the woman”"Director of the Gold Coast Domestic Violence Prevention Centre Amy Compton-Keen said male perpetrators of domestic violence were known to take out orders against women as a means of control." “It’s about them trying to get in first and, from our experience working with women, if the man has a good story he is more often believed,” she said." | 6 | How to get rich: accuse a man of rapeWhile the article is largely satire, it does raise some concerns that are legitimate. Not all that accuse others of rape actually sue, but those that do are all too eager to sue an accused rapist, but will refuse to return money when it turns out she lied. As well as direct costs towards the child (Clothes, sports, etc), it should also cover indirect costs such as bills, housing, food, etc. But $16k a month? It goes from being understandable to just being selfish. | 1 | I have a question about custody issues and moving...The term selfish would be adopted if you thought you could continue the same custody agreement while in a different city. My apologies if my wording sounded like it was otherwise. It all depends on how far away you move. If you're just in the next city over, then you could stil be seeing your son every second weekend. If you move to the other side of the country, then long weekends and school holidays does in fact sound most ideal. | 1 | I have a question about custody issues and moving...It's quite simple. As a non-custodial parent, you cannot force your ex and your son to move. As for keeping the same arrangements, do you really want your son on the road for hours on end several times a week or in airports for hours every week or second week? | 2 | Tomorrow I go to jail for child support. Its incredibly selfish for a parent with custody to force the parent without it to pay anything You chose to have a child and chose to accept the financial responsibilities when you and the other parent were together and now that you two aren't, you want to financially disengage all medical, educational and living costs from yourself because you don't have custody. | 2 | Calling all dads (story in comments) (x-post from r/daddit)How much of a split custody are you asking for? In all honesty, at 8 months, you need to be prepared to understand that you won't get much. If your beautiful daughter's mum is breastfeeding, you will not get any overnights. If she is bottle fed, you may still not get any. Instead, you will get frequent, court-mandated, day visits. Expect them to be supervised. Are you on the birth certificate? How about the split? "The judge thinks your dad's dangerous, honey. They gave him a piece of paper that said he wasn't allowed to see us" Mum diverts the blame from her to the legal system, even though she initiated it, kids are alienated and believe that if someone else says their dad is bad, then it must be so thus the brainwashing begins. | /r/MensRights | 03/08/13 04:27 PM

When I split from my ex, my lawyer advised me to expect abuse claims in front of the judge and falsified AVO's (Restraining orders in Australia). She was right. This is no different. | 16 | 95.3% of men felt domestic violence agencies were anti-male...40% reported being accused of perpetrating DV when seeking help at said agencies. You seem to be justifying abuse. Your downvotes seem relevant. Despite what happened to me, I do not, nor will never, advocate abuse. I wouldn't have done it before it was made illegal, I wouldn't do it now | /r/MensRights | 12/01/13 06:25 AM |
95.3% of men felt domestic violence agencies were anti-male...40% reported being accused of perpetrating DV when seeking help at said agencies.yes as I said, there isnt funding for F2M abuse beyond recognition. Not one of the people I spoke to insulted me or didnt believe me, they just couldnt help me. The problem came down to funding. | /r/MensRights | 12/01/13 05:09 AM
95.3% of men felt domestic violence agencies were anti-male...40% reported being accused of perpetrating DV when seeking help at said agencies. This is not surprising. When I was abused, I called a DV line only to be provided with a number for men. I called it and they were for abuser's who recognized they had a problem. They were unable to help me. I had nowhere to turn and no way to get assistance (Emergency housing, funding, etc). Because of all the issues of being abused and not being able to get help, I became severely depressed, diagnosed with depression and anxiety. I have major trust issues as well and while I have a fantastic p… | /r/MensRights | 12/01/13 03:03 AM
A bit of a rantSo yes, pre-op I love... Her?... His? Double standards. I would respect a person's desire to be called by what gender they identify as but when you are selective of the traits you want to inherit, then you'll be called what I see you as. At that point, respect goes out the window, at least to me. | /r/MensRights | 11/01/13 02:35 PM

My best friends girlfriend/fiancé left with his child on jan 2nd. He has called the police and they said they will serve her to return the child. You know what's funny? When I heard people say that while I was with the ex, I never believed it to be common in broken relationships between parents. Then when I seperated from my ex (mum to my 3 kids), I have been served with restraining orders, my daughter being hidden from me (Haven't seen her in 7 months, I have custody of my two sons) and so many claims of abuse of both her and my daughter. So my advice to OP is exactly like yours: Your friend better be prepared for a shitstorm. Women know… | /r/MensRights | 11/01/13 09:16 AM

Ex-partner has accused me of physically and sexually abusing our daughter. No medical, CPS or Police report filed, only an AVOIt is. Thanks for the clarification. Obviously not having any involvement with them yet, I didn't know :-P | /r/MensRights | 21/08/12 02:41 AM
Ex-partner has accused me of physically and sexually abusing our daughter. No medical, CPS or Police report filed, only an AVOThe first part is finding a good lawyer, which is easier said than done Again, being a stay at home dad raising our 2 sons by myself, I don't have the funds for a lawyer, and given that there is an AVO on a famioly member, Legal Aid in my state will not help. She gets de facto custody I hope not. This isn't a custody hearing. It's an Apprehended Violence Order hearing. Basically, the ex made a claim I abused our daughter, and while there's the saying "Innocent until proven guilty", I now need to… | /r/MensRights | 21/08/12 01:34 AM
This story from a domestic violence victim in a /r/AskReddit thread calling out guys who'd been assaulted really frustrated me. Long read, but worth it.Holy shit. Yup, I deserved to get hit, geeze I wish I was a better person. Fucking cunt. My ex said exactly the same thing. Physically abused me for 5 years, said I deserved it. When I finally stuck up for myself, grabbed her by the wrists and put her on the couch then left the house, 15 minutes later the cops come at me with guns raised. I was charged with assault. When I told the cops I defended myself from the physical abuse for the first time in 5 years, they didn't believe me and told me I … | /r/MensRights | 28/03/12 07:47 AM
