Good question about is it worth keeping the peace? And that is what is eating me inside too. I know MY internal peace would not be kept XD It would be additional $100/month.

I totally feel you on this one. Had three of my kids and two of em said it, but the other didn’t even acknowledge. I know it’s just words, but yeah, it’s hurtful, or I should say, the lack of it, is hurtful

I like what you said here. Do everything in your opinion is right, and as hard of a pill to swallow, you can’t do anything else, without, as it sounds like, detrimental to OP’s mental health, which would be bad for the kids too. It’s a hard predicament. I wish I knew an answer

Perhaps try to understand why you get overly attached to "every girl". Being aware of it is a key step. Looking for feedback from trusted friends is good too. Although it is not necessarily wrong with having strong emotions and feelings towards women, if you haven't already, now would be a good time to explore via therapy. By understanding your emotions, this may guide you better in terms of how to deal with future relationships and interactions. Or at least this is what I have found helpful for…

Sorry to hear about your divorce experience... sucks that you had to go through that.
