Thanks for the clarification. Couldn't afford this service either way at the moment but I have it bookmarked for the future.

Do yourself a favor. Take 20 seconds and do nothing but breathe. Think about nothing besides your breath. After that I want you to try to remember who you were 2 years ago, the improvements you've made since then, everything you can do now that you couldn't have done back then. Have you gotten the results you wanted in the time between now and then? Probably not. I know I have really high expectations of myself and a lot of the time fail to meet them. I, like you, get down on myself often for no…

Not to mention that human mating has never followed the alpha-beta dichotomy that happens within other species in the animal kingdom. Sure, there are exceptions, but if you look at human history you rarely see a single man impregnating all the women of a tribe while all the other males are left out to dry. I'm still very much a newbie on pickup, but in terms of seduction, from everything I've heard from the authorities, the analogy seems to make sense.

Listen to this guy. My best friend goes to SDSU and while he says the party school atmosphere is great his favorite part of the SD area is Pacific Beach. Even if you don't get lucky you'll have a great time there.

Nothing to add here. I just want to say I'm about to go out and that reading your post, especially the few anecdotes really improved my attitude.

How much of your humor is self-deprecating? In my experience, a little bit of self-deprecating humor shows confidence, that you're not insecure about your flaws and that you can even make fun of them, whereas if your always doing it then you are signaling that your flaws are all you think about and you are very self-conscious about them. Also when it comes to the situation where they are expecting to fetch something for them or buy them a soft drink just make a joke like "what am I, your secreta…

Fuck dude, I know I'm attractive and I still have a fuckton of a trouble maintaining a good attitude. I'm 6' 3", athletically built, masculine facial features and my frame still goes to shit half the time I go out. Saying that "its difficult for me because I'm unattractive" or just "not super attractive" is just an excuse. Hell it may even be true but if that's the first thing you thought of after reading this article you need to realize exactly where your thoughts are going and reframe yourself…

Then she tells her friends what a creep she thinks you are, meanwhile you maintain the frame that you're a confident badass and either her opinion of you gradually change or you move on. Your're mutual friends aren't going to entirely revise their opinion of you just because some girl thought you were creepy.

The only one that I felt was really over the top was the one about the co-worker with the wrestler fetish. Yeah he was an asshole, but you don't fuck somebodies entire life up like that. Especially when they are already somewhat messed up in the head to begin with.

I've actually been thinking of getting into pool for a couple weeks now. Since I know little about the game, what is the best way to pick it up and is there anything I would be better of knowing early on? How did you cultivate your "don't give a fuck attitude"? I feel that I've really only experienced this once, and that was the last night of a vacation where I knew I'd in all likelyhood never see anybody there again. I didn't even drink that night. I was thinking the other day, what if you could only up/downvote reddits you were subscribed to? It wouldn't do much for the larger subreddits but I have to imagine most people are too apathetic to subscribe to a subreddit, vote, and then unsubscribe just to up/downvote.

The self pity part is so true. Its so easy to start feeling sorry for myself when I'm trying to reflect and learn. I think that's one of the reasons FRs are good, because they give different perspectives.

I know they do it to keep your attention but PLEASE, if your video has good content within the first minute I will stay for the rest. But most people won't. If it didn't work they wouldn't do it =\ .

Why should that irritate you? Its some random dude on the internet, and a lot of other people seem to be agreeing with him. Maybe he is inexperienced, but given the number of agreeing comments/upvotes other people seem to support what he is saying.

Suggestion. I'd like to see you post some of your more challenging FRs. Not to take away from this one, but it seemed it sorta fell into your lap. First accept the fact that this is going to take time. Likely months. I've been at this working on my own game for at least 3 months now. Second, work on your inner game. There are so many posts on seddit that detail this much better than I can. Just look through the sidebar or top posts of all time. Third, give yourself permission to fuck up and make an ass of yourself. Realize that everything you do from this point on is practice, no different than learning any other skill. You need to desensi…

Honestly, if you're friendly about it and make it clear that you aren't interested physically but are still down to have a good time guys who only motives were physical will back away whereas guys who are also looking to have a good time will probably respect that. Try kinoing people you don't want to escalate with. Give more high fives, hug instead of shake hands, give a firm pat on the back to people when you congratulate them, put your hand on a friends shoulder if you want to get their attention. Its been helpful for me so far and there's a lot less pressure.
/r/seduction09/12/11 06:25 AM

Funny story. I was at work the other day and was trying to practice my kino to get more comfortable with it on a somewhat attractive co-worker. Not trying to escalate anything, just forcing myself to get more comfortable touching people. Long story short, I accidentally hit her hard in the nose and I assume gave her a concussion since she told me she spent the night puking -_-.

This may be against general seduction theories but I'll ask it anyway. There's a girl, I asked her for her number and she gave it to me. Called her a few days later to ask her out and she was pretty plain that she wasn't attracted to me. I'm totally fine with that (abundance theory ect...) but she's still a very cool girl and I wouldn't mind just being friends. What would be the best way to let her know this? My instincts are to just to outright tell her, but I know that my instincts in this are…

Your post reminded me of this comment I saw a while ago and had saved to my computer. Short term: Lose my virginity to a girl I'd be happy to lose it to. Reconnect with my friends who I distanced myself from over the last few years. Build my self confidence. Meet more people and proactively make plans to grow my number of friends. Long term: Totally rid myself of AA. Change my personality so that I don't seek validation from others. Dude, I had a similar situation last week. I said fuck it, approached her. Was heart pounding nervous throughout the entire conversation, maybe even borderline panicked, and it took everything I had to keep it from showing. It wasn't until hours after the exchange that I realized I had totally forgotten to ask for her # because I was so focused on ejecting. I don't beat myself up it now. I just treat it as a learning experience and a step towards improving my inner game.

First of all, thanks for actually responding. I was beginning to think all the mods had just taken a vacation. Well I've only read through the entire sidebar once and my knowledge of seduction is far from encyclopedic. I was an AFC a few months ago and am still in the process of developing my game. That said, I feel I've read enough so that if somebody were to give me 20 different tags(ex: AA, inner game, shit tests) I could go through and tag all the content and then use that to organize it into an ebook. Or better yet an actual PUA or somebody more experienced than myself could do all the tagging and I…

You totally misinterpreted my question. I wasn't asking for a magic pill. Wasn't asking for some miracle trick. The question was, what are your mental tricks for fighting AA. In other words, what thoughts go through your head to help build your confidence before you approach a HB. Do you think of how her opinion makes no difference to you? Do you think about how you're adding value to her life and not the other way around? Do you think about her masturbating while thinking about you? I know I us…

Find women you can enjoy spending time with. It's impossible for you to dislike spending time very single female unless you dislike then for being female in which case your a misogynist. If thats the case you should do some introspection and or talk to a therapist. My suggestion, spend time with the ones you dislike and force yourself to keep a posative frame of mind. I'm guessing your sister is older than you. If the OP is now living at home and his sister is still in school my first guess would be he is the older brother. This doesn't totally disqualify the possibility of having a protective sister but it does make it less likely. I have a younger sister and she's been one of the most supportive people for me improving my game. She's even asked if I think any of her friends, not her really close ones, are "cute" and that she'd help me pick up some of them.

Nice, keep up the energy!. Also, if you're interested, I thought we could partner up.
