Semi-newbie here, but learning the ropes, and myself lately. My current block is AA due to others in the environment. Best example: coffee shop, girl sitting alone, but the place is rather quiet and crowded (tables close together). I can be confident 1on1 in approaching, but if random strangers are able to easily observe/hear what's happening, that thought keeps me from approaching.

It's different than walking on the street, as observers only catch a small glimpse of the interaction. I know the payoff is worth it, but I have a hard time accepting that other people can be an audience through the whole thing (and possibly disturbed/distracted if they are busy, which wouldn't happen at a more social place).

Any tips / advice / related experienced would help greatly - thanks ;D

Edit: further details:

If I were doing my thing in a coffeeshop, and near me a girl is approached, my attention would be on them for a good while, as it is a unique/rare situation. If I were concentrating intently beforehand, it might bother me. Doing the approaching, I'd feel like I'm stealing the attention of those nearby, who may not care to give it.

Edit2: thanks for the responses - I think I have the right perspective now - battle on, heros!
