I work as a CNA and deal with very depressed and angry people all day long. After reading “How to influence people and win friends” I felt like my social skills literally leveled up. I can strike up and hold a conversation indefinitely with almost anybody now and plant seeds to be able to get them to do what I want. I work in the medical field, and anyone in the Emergency Department will tell you it is a a pressure cooker for hormones and stress. I have heard endless stories of ED staff getting caught fooling around with one another in supply rooms or in the parking garage. They are making good money while they are young and pretty and then once the decide they’ve had enough of the CC they find someone who makes as much as them, or will find a higher value male to show her own status throughout the hospital.
