Infer what you want but neither of us implied that. Simply put, if you make plans and she plans on top of your plans, she's most likely shit testing you. Follow through with your own plans and let her know that she is welcome to follow through with hers. A win for both of you.

Don't be a puppet. She's shit testing you. When you make a plan, stick to that plan. If she comes up with a different plan and you go with her plan, she is just pulling the strings. If she comes up with a different plan, give her the green light to follow through with it, but tell her you're going to stick to your plan. She'll either get pissed off (most likely contrived) or she'll follow your plan. Either way, there's your answer.

I don't think he meant that girl in particular. He meant 'your LTR' at the moment. At least that's how I read it.

Could you recommend a book on comedy theory?

Agreed. He can't prove with 100% physical proof that he didn't experience a negative hallucination when looking for them, so he chalks this up to experience and moves on. It's his only move.

If you weren't threatened by this guy, (or anyone else she may be texting) you wouldn't be snooping through her phone. That's insecure beta behavior. Feel free to keep dating her, but keep on hunting for someone else. Flirt. Work on your game. Having her in the wings will give you the confidence to do just that. But most importantly, focus on the long game - your education. You won't get a do-over on that.

In my case, your guess would be off by 30+ years. The theories here don't just go away as the women get older. I pinky swear.

If you have a fairly high SMV, and tell a girl with a similar or slightly lower SMV that you are anti marriage, you just laid down a challenge for her to convince you otherwise. They aren't used to having to work to get a man, so this challenge is accepted and she will go to great lengths to overcome that obstacle. That's why many of them will not run away.

This. I'm 55 and in better shape than I have been my entire adult life. I considered myself in good shape a year ago (I'm a triathlete) but I powered through and took it to the next level since finding this sub. The changes I have made physically transformed my mental attitude, so to read that I will be elderly when I'm 59 made me smile. I don't think I will consider myself elderly for another 20 years - maybe not even then.

Although what you write is true, OP apparently likes the shirt she bought him and the music she suggested. He didn't write that he was being force fed that shit or was being forced to change. You inferred a lot more from OP's post than I did. Your last question is moot.

The instant sex is ever hinted at being used as a tool, you deal with that firmly in ways that are covered ad nauseam in this sub. But there is nothing wrong with a woman telling you how great you are and that they are lucky. Nor would her buying you a shirt or showing you different music be a problem.

My Dad is 84. Retired military. Widowed twice. Married to his 3rd wife for 26 years who's 15 years younger than him. He's still alpha as fuck. Most of what I got from him was caught, not taught. As it should be.

Sorry - didn't make my comment clear. As opposed to the same deduction you can take for your child if you aren't legally married. Really a moot point though - you and I are on the same page. The risk isn't worth it.

You have two children that depend on you to be present. Keep that in mind. Digest this site very, very slowly. Implement even slower. (I'm talking years, not months) Most (a certain percentage?) of these guys that post are experimenting on women they could give two shits about. You are implementing this on the fly on your family, your flesh and blood. This shit works - and is self illuminating everywhere you look once you've see it. But some of the mistakes you can make if implemented wrong (too…

I'm in the "very new agy" camp on Deida. I tried. I really tried to read it. After about 3 hours, I put it up. NMMNG hit home. One that I read this week that I really liked was The Manipulated Man. I grew up in 70's so, even though it's dated, it reinforced stuff I intrinsically knew. I really liked her sense of humor which was a bonus. It's one I'll read it again some day.

No - asking her if they made out is a total failure. It shows her (and all of us) that her life is on your brain. If you can't be truthful with yourself and just go into this date with an "I wouldn't waste piss on you if you were on fire in the middle of the street." attitude, then cut bait and move on with your mission sans her.

"...this is where the red pill side of him has finally emerged." He earned the level of respect that he received. Everything you listed are things he did for her over the course of 2 years. You listed nothing that he did to improve himself. That's on him. So no, this is not where the RP side of him emerged. This is where the pissed off BP side of him emerged. (He's got 4 more phases to go through) He waited until she left for Thanksgiving because he is still a coward. He wants you and your two c…

Improve yourself every day over the course of the next few years. The benefits will come to you like a magnet draws metal. If you look at the 3 points /u/MrEiffel makes, Physical, Career, Social, they aren't focused on changing her behavior, they are focused on changing yours. Hers will change accordingly. Just go slow or you're going to fuck things up. Think of it like this - in two years you will still have a wife and daughter. If you spend those two years improving yourself every day and full…

What you are experiencing is a period of enlightenment. You want to share your enlightenment. Don't. Now that you have been enlightened, observe more, and voice less. It'll eventually come natural. With regards to your boss, (or whoever the natural alpha in your social circle is) Never outshine the master.

She then works herself up into a lather, overreacting until she decides she wants out. I would be afraid that one of these times she'll come crawling back with a gift that keeps on giving.

You didn't give us a lot of context, but most likely she wants to explore other options. She uses the phrase "break from you" as a security blanket that if these other option(s) don't work out, you will be waiting there for her. Armed with that knowledge, you know what your next move is. Improve yourself every day. Lift. Use your anger. The best revenge is to be better off without her.

Can confirm. I have come to view keeping it to myself as a secret advantage I have that I really don't want to share anyway. Gives me an edge.

Would being a douche to her help you focus on your mission? Would it serve any purpose at all besides revenge? Would it make you feel better? Is trying to start over even something you want at this point in your life? If the answer to these 4 questions is 'no' (and it should be), then delete the text and focus on your mission. You don't have to explain why. She'll get the message if you just ignore the text. And make it easy on yourself. Block her number so you don't have that tiny bit of extra …

The part of my TRP mindset that gets blown out the window when I drink is I have a harder time following rule #1 (don't talk about TRP) when I have been drinking. A few weeks ago I was with all my buds at a cabin we rented, sitting around the camp fire, doing what you do when you're sitting around the camp fire. All of these guys except one are total BP, and what they were saying about their wives (I'm the only single guy there) was making me cringe with every story. I'm pretty sure I came acros…

Would I like to be plugged back in? Nope. Once I made it through the anger and depression (that fucking depression was a bitch!) life with TRP became much more fulfilling than what I had as a BP so there's no way in hell I would want to go back even if that were possible. It's impossible to unlearn what you learned after unplugging though. I don't see constantly improving myself as something I HAVE to do. I see it as something I WANT to do. I'm in a little different situation than most of you. I…

Sounds to me like you almost achieved the near impossible - a successful transition from BP=>RP while in a relationship, and now you've got a good thing going. I say almost because your insecurities are getting too much of your attention. Make your past, your past. You've learned from it. Now move forward.

Circumstances. That's all. Not saying he didn't handle it correctly, but if I had that many highly trained people watching my back - ready to kill Mike without hesitation, I would be alpha as fuck toward Mike too.

Be snarky? "She cheated. I divorced her. It's a fault of mine that dates all the way back to pre-school. I got bad marks then too for not sharing well with others." Like others have said, don't appear butthurt by it. The fact that you are even explaining it to another woman shows that she was easily replaced with an upgraded model.

how has long term job stress effected you over the years? Once I gained the mindset that I work to live, not live to work, the balance came naturally. There is ALWAYS enough time to work out...always. And at 55+, I feel better and more in control of my life than I ever have.

I will tell you from experience (doomed my 5yr relationship) that what you are doing is very, very hard. She's known you for 8 years. I would advise that you do nothing more than lift and get your body in shape for at least 1 year. Don't let anything get in the way of that. Doing this and only this will make you much more confident, and she will respond to it accordingly. She can sense that you are faking it.

I started reading TRP to see how I could shake her up and get her to put more effort into fucking me properly. I was in the exact boat you are in. Started out natural RP and slowly over the course of 5yrs, she chipped away at my frame and I got increasingly frustrated with our relationship without having a clue as to why. Discovered this sub, binge read for a few months and lights flipped on. I implemented a couple of small things over the next few months with huge success and thought my life wa…

guess it's a bit of a breaking point for me in regards to my rp mindset Depression. You have to power through it. You can't un-swallow this now that you've seen it to be what it is. Yes, you are always going to have to be on your guard...from now on. But what's wrong with that if it makes you a better man?

With one exception, every male in my social circle is 10-15 years younger than I am. I frequently get complimented on how good I look for my age. I'm going on a 10 day backpacking trip with 3 of my younger brethren in September to a remote area where we will most likely not see another human being the entire time. I can guarantee, I will be the one that is in the best shape. Age is relevant to how old you feel, and I feel young.

I'm here to say, "That's Bull Shit!" I'll 2nd that. I'm 55, and just ended a 5 yr LTR with a 46yr old that had the body of a 25yr old. She is an absolutely gorgeous woman. We had sex 4-5 times per week for 5yrs. We couldn't get enough of each other sexually (I swear, I'm not exaggerating). Why did we end it you ask? She was hung up on marriage and has full custody of her two young daughters. I made it clear from the start that I would never "marry" her. I would have spent the rest of my days wit…

Out of curiosity, what is that personality? I just got out of an LTR with a girl like that. She preferred male friends because girl friends had too much drama or didn't like her because was tall, thin and beautiful (her words) She also would meet a new female friend, tell me how awsome she was, only to end up not liking her a few weeks later with a paranoid fear that this new friend was saying bad things about her behind her back. I've heard I should run from girls that get "paranoid when they a…

I'm in the same situation as you,(natural RP, but BP with women). Have been in a LTR for more than 5 years, and several months ago found TRP, went on a binge-read, started applying the principles. The results have been nothing short of amazing and looking back at our relationship with 20/20 hind site, I am now able to see that she has all along been secretly begging me to be the guy I am now. I made a few mistakes in the transition, but no relapses...just me changing too drastically, too fast. F…

I've been unknowingly been practicing TRP forever, and in this sub I have found terms and definitions (and a plethora of acronyms) to what I have intrinsically believed for my entire adult life. I'm here to improve myself, not my 'game'. As cascadecombo stated, the signal to noise ratio is bad and getting worse. As the relevance of the posts continues to denigrate, I find myself reading them less and perusing the other resources more.
