Just what I was looking for. Not sure if she is just looking for a hook up, so I flipped it. Was thinking of doing something similar but couldn't think of exactly what to say or what to call it. Thanks man. The fact that she is hot doesn't really phase me, it's just that she is the first girl hot enough for me to realize it was a shit test.

Yea makes sense, I didn't say that exactly. She said interesting (BLUSHY face). And I said, woah, hang on a sec, you don't know me well enough to know that I am interesting, but we should change that. Same idea I guess.

The thing is, I don't talk to her, maybe exchange a name/major. They just come dance for 5-10 mins and leave. Do I try to talk to them right there on the dance floor? Move the conversation to the bar?

Offer them the choice. I do this with any girl I go on dates with, I say something like "Do you want me to pick you up or would you rather meet there?" after figuring out when/venue. Nothing really wrong about it, have never had a girl say no to me picking her up and us going together.

Yea that makes sense. We usually pass by right next to each other in opposite directions going to/from class. I notice her looking from a distance, but when we pass by each other it's eyes in the other direction. Gonna get her attention Thursday and take it from there, a learning situation no matter what happens I guess.

Thanks for the advice. That was kind of my plan, but I'm just trying to figure out how to proceed from here, how much time should I wait before messaging again (a week or so)? And no i didn't get her number, I wasn't expecting that response so it caught me off guard :/. I'm fairly confident in my ability to get her number after a few messages, but I just don't want to make her uncomfortable or anything especially since she said she just got out of a relationship and isn't really looking for anot…

Yep, I figured that much. Well, I did it and she replied, but she said she had just gotten out of a relationship and wasn't looking for another one quite yet. I replied saying if anything changes and she is interested in learning chaos theory, im her guy (we are both math majors). She replied saying, haha thanks, and (btw I thought you were pretty cute last semester). I figure I should just give her space since I put the ball in her court (her last comment is a good sign I assume); right move?

I have back ups. That's why I said I should try it regardless of outcome. If I don't get a reply/get shut down, I move on to someone else. I just need something simple to open up conversation, from there set up a date eventually. I am insanely good at smoothly transitioning from a random conversation into a date, its just a matter of initiating the conversation which is my issue.

Seems a little cynical. I doubt I'll ever see her again since we have different majors, so I might as well give it a try, regardless of outcome, given that she was the first girl that caught my attention since high school.
