I had a girl in one of my classes last semester and I knew she was interested in me and I was interested in her, but I just didn't have time for a relationship. I have a lot more free time this semester, so I decided to follow her on Twitter a few months back, but never got a follow back (later learned she had a bf, no longer does). She tweeted about our school's basketball team recent loss, I like it, and she almost instantly followed me back.

I don't have any experience with starting a conversation on Twitter, especially with somebody I did not talk to in person. I figured I should wait for a tweet that I could somehow relate to my DM, but she tweets insanely infrequently (like 1-2 a month, if that). Any thoughts?
