Being proud of engineering money isn't the same as being proud of engineering. I don't think this thread would exist if you were truly proud of the actual job you were doing. Not to say its a job you shouldn't be proud of, just that you may have some unwarranted insecurities about it. Engineering is a great field and you should be proud of it you essentially make peoples lives better and they never know it was you, kind of thankless really. Like I said earlier though, my job is complicated and i…

Well, its obviously different if you are going to be in a serious relationship with the girl, but even then, you shouldn't have to disclose that for I don't know a month maybe more? If you don't want to I mean... If you do then go for it. My point is, your job is only as important as you make it. It honestly sounds like you are embarrassed of your job, but you said civil engineer with pride and she saw your face light up as you said it, guarantee you there would be nothing boring about it. She m…

I don't care if she gets tired of it is the point. She (and most people in general) is so used to people defining themselves by their career that the fact that I don't is unique. And if she seriously prods for it, it becomes a why are you asking me this? If you aren't in a relationship with this chick, there isn't a good reason to just be vomiting information. I don't plan to date this girl so like I said I don't care. Just don't turn the games into 100% focus of the interaction, from that stand…

I would just make a game out of it instead. I have this running joke with one chick where she literally has no idea what I do. She always tries to guess, and is never even close. Then I also get to drop fake "accidental" hints where she looks like she just found gold that I slipped up, until she sees me laughing and realizes that I was fucking with her. The mystery builds way more hype than reality, and who cares, you pay your bills and do what you want.

I feel like you've honestly made more progress in these past three days than most people make here in months. You are doing good work and I look forward to reading your posts every day. As a meta side note, if our subs goal is to really promote improvement these type of posts need to be like 75% of the sub.

she might have to wait a week to get another chance with you Biggest point right here, which is often understated. It is more about putting pressure to move forward or missing out. Not seeming super busy just because busy = high value.

Honestly, the fact that she let her "ex" do that is pretty telling to her interest in you. She's willing to let him do the dirty work for her, and she gets to be the innocent bystander. See how you are criticizing him? If she really cared, she wouldn't have let him have her phone. I wouldn't bring it up with her, I'd just move on..

Less so, depending on potential drama. I'd think at worst one or both of you could lose your jobs. It's risk v reward, if you really get a long or she's really attractive go for it, but if you just want a one night stand or fuck buddy I would probably pass.

I've noticed a lot of your posts around here and like what you write. You seem to be pretty spot on from what I've seen before, but here I have to say I think you're wrong. Lying and standing them up is not the "alpha" thing to do. You said "sure" so you agreed to meet, hold true to your word, and just don't schedule it again. Or at the very least cancel.

Under rated comment. I would have called her out for being rude and walked away. It can help immensely to frame things in your favor, even if you don't believe them at first. It just sets up that new mind frame. Cause if you called her out for being rude then you walk away you rejected her (even if she did reject you first). Don't be confrontational about it though cause then you just become that self obsessed macho guy who can't accept rejection. Also sometimes girls will realize you were right…

I find it odd and borderline non believable that you told the bf about the relationship for moral reasons. You started sleeping with her while you knew she had a boyfriend, but that was ok. Then she lied to you, you figured out it was a lie and then waited until april 1st to tell the bf? Nah sounds like you did it for your own personal reasons and got burned.

The best thing to do when you are struggling with conversation isn't even asking a question. You can just repeat what they said as a statement. For example: Her: I didn't get to do x cause it was raining outside. You: Aww man, rain ruins x. OR You: what are you doing here today? Her: I'm studying You: This is a great place to study. It sounds dumb but it works so often, girls will just continue talking.

The thing that has always bugged me with boot camps is the general lack of any kind of legitimate review. I looked a while back and could only find one site that looked like it hasn't been updated since 2010. Reviews are so few and far between that basically anyone looking will just find the review that reaffirms what they want to believe, either it being legit or it being a scam. If these kind of companies exist (and there are a good bit of them) and have existed for a long time why are we not …

The old stuff worked, but for the wrong reasons. It was formulaic and more on the deceptive side. The general seduction dance goes like this: Girl makes herself as attractive as possible > Guy approaches girl, then is responsible to qualify himself and make him attractive > Girl accepts a good quality guy or rejects bad quality guy > then blah blah the rest isnt important for this post. The hook of the old stuff was to appear good when you really werent (now some were intentionally deceptive, an…

Couple of things. First, I may be mislabeling breaking rapport, I see it as a similar concept to push-pull. Second, I agree that doing seduction right is kind of a willing participant of being "manipulated". It is exciting rush for both people involved. Lastly, I also have that kind of high standard of attraction (I get shit for it all the time) but I have found that in context most of the time its either positive or neutral reactions. Either they try harder or they just like "eh not interested"…
/r/seduction31/03/16 08:59 PM
1

Essentially I agree, breaking rapport is one of those things that as you become more natural in game, it just will happen over time. I get the need to "fake it" early, but not necessary. In the seduction dynamic - the girl goes first, its her job to look pretty enough to attract a guy. Then it is the guys job to approach, and then it is the girls job to either approve or disapprove. Thats where the whole idea of qualification comes from. Now the concept of breaking rapport is just that it makes …

The other thing I would be aware of - in high school the stupid high school "politics" have effects. It is dumb, and won't last out of high school but she might say no even if she wants to say yes for various reasons. You just need to be socially aware of whats going on.

If you ruined something because you "cheated" then you have no one to blame but yourself. Also, I think it is pretty standard advice around here for new comers is to become the best person you can be, and having a solid life foundation before moving on. It kind of sounds like you skipped some early steps, had success, got cocky then fucked yourself over and now want to blame seddit for it. Get back to basics and focus on yourself first.

I don't understand how "if you say so" relates contextually to text escalation. In my mind, it almost sounds like saying "Thanks" when someone says they love you. If I saw more of the conversation, maybe I could be more helpful.

This is one of the most divisive issues I think. Some people say its a complete no and others say that there is no problem. You just have to go with your gut. I would say though that if she offers any kind of resistance, than she is probably is just being the "at work" cordial friendliness and not really that interested. Like for example, if you ask for her number. Most places of employment frown if not out right have rules against giving out numbers at work. This gives her an easy out. You ask,…

Just don't invest too much. The other part that is cool about being at a model party (I wish I could go to one of these) as a non model is that you come with some kind of mystery. Who is this guy and how does he know people here? Focus on having fun first at the party. If you are talking to her and things start to get a little boring or dry, leave her for a bit. This reason is two fold. If she thinks you are starting to be boring and lose interest, you leaving and talking to her again later give…

Guys sometimes when in one of their first relationships will essentially over commit. They want to make the other person happy because they think 'if she is happy, then relationship is good'. That process in and of itself causes qualities that are inherently unattractive to (most) girls. Thus causing a ticking time bomb of a bad relationship that normally ends with cheating/heart break/sadness/alcohol. Conversely, if through the relationship she turns out to be boring/bitchy or whatever and some…

Expectations and emotional investment need to match the difficulty of the "approach". If you are going to send a DM over twitter, anyone can do that, and a lot of people probably do. So just temper your expectations accordingly and maybe say something out there that would differentiate yourself.

If you go to a hotel late at night (like 2-4am range) they will often give you a room for really really cheap. I've done this when making long road trips, get a room for like 4 hours of sleep get up and get driving. Point is, gamble of no hotel room and if shit doesn't work out go get a cheap hotel. OR you could just get a hotel from the beginning and have a good spot to bring back to after the date.

Ok definitely not advocating any kind of red pill agenda, they are crazy. But what I am saying is be true to yourself, if you act differently because you feel like you have to then you will build resentment over time until it reaches breaking point and blows up. Girl is showering you with love and not giving it back? This is the key part here. Who says he isn't giving it back, he could be giving it back in his own ways and she knows that and accepts it. I dunno, I agree with the premise of OP. How many times have we heard stories where once the guy gets the relationship thats it - the act drops and he goes back to being the needy insecure person he once was. The whole point of inner game (holding frame) is to become a better person. It shouldn't be a temporary act. Its not to say OP should be intentionally distant and cruel - but love in a way that fits him.

Interesting dilemma... I think back to times where my friends have gotten chicks I was interested in, and it sucks in the moment but the next day I had no problem with it. Especially when you understand that no one has "dibs" on another person, friends might bow out because of bro code or w/e, but if things were going really well (which it sounds like they were) you shouldn't need to apologize or consider outside opinions. something that dawned on me reading your FR is about how you asked if she had a bf. It goes back to the belief that people are naturally inclined to agree or whatever. What if you phrased the question in a way were the positive answer (yes) is the desired answer. Like, I bet you could get more positive results if you asked "Are you single?" instead. Just a thought.

Doesn't mean any of them are ok, and its naive to think it won't happen to you when there is a confirmed history of it happening already. Cheating is probably one of the few black and white issues because you will always know in the back of your mind, even 1% chance, that she could do it again. Not 100% trust = no trust = no relationship.

Maybe its just me, but I don't think you should ever bring up your parents unless unique circumstances arise. It implies a sense of dependency, or at the very least a lack of independence. And the second choice just seems cringingly offensive. You are basically asking her to apply to be a servant and be happy about it.

You could say ex-wife, but if you don't feel comfortable... just saying "ex" would be ok. Either things aren't serious enough where it wont matter (meaning the distinction between an ex wife and implied just exgf), or they are serious enough and it also wont matter (meaning she understands enough about it to be ok with it).

One of my favorite professors in college had a quote that he'd always say. I'm not sure if he meant to be as profound and life applicable as it really is, being he was an investments teacher. It was this question that got me started on my major campaign of self improvement. Year or so ago I was frustrated that online dating was not successful for me, but I still thought I shouldn't have to change "who I am". One night, I realized it was bullshit. I didn't want to compromise what I wanted, why should I expect the other person to sacrifice what they wanted, if I wasn't doing everything I could to be the best person I could be.

I don't think there has ever been a story where someone tried harder and harder to win a girl back and successfully pulled it off.
