Not sure if this is the right subreddit or not to post to. Firstly, i should state all this is happening while i am traveling (solo) for an extended period of time. I have absolutely no problem meeting other women on my travels, striking up interesting conversation, and then doing things together with them (both one-on-one and in groups). It seems like this keeps happening to me over the past couple of months - i spend 2-5 days with these women i meet on my travels and everything is going fantastic except when it comes time for physical intimacy. I should mention that it seems like they really enjoy my company (and i do genuinely enjoy theirs - it's not just about sex for me). And over a day, two or three i make sure to progress things. I continue to get more flirty with them (or i think i am). There's certainly no lack of physical contact (i put my arm(s) around the women more often as we become more comfortable with eachother). I make more obvious sexual inuenndos. But when we have some privacy and i go in for a kiss after a while the women always seem to have cold feet. It strikes me as very odd because it seems like these women are also flirting a lot with me (although i could be wrong). Why is this happening? I get that some women take longer than others but presumably these women also want to have sex while traveling a bit so it's not really practical to know these women for a couple weeks. You only have a few days to work. I suppose i should state i am 25/M and got out of a long term relationship ao i have been out of the game a while and want to have some fun while traveling. I'm certainly not just traveling with these women i meet for the sex. In fact, these women tend to think of me as a very nice and polite guy. I know this can lead me to getting friendzoned while is why i try to flirt quite a bit and have a fair bit of physical contact with them. There are 3 cases below that i have outlined.

  1. I requested a girl who was new to couchsurfing to host me. She does. Things go REALLY well and we end up spending all our time together for the 4 days i'm there as we like being around eachother a lot. I progress things over time. I should probably mention it seems like she wants to meet new people and is proactive about it but doesnt seem to have too many friends. On the 4th and final night, we're drinking, singing and dancing in her bedroom and at the end of the night she agrees to play a game of cards with me which involves stripping! At the end of the game she's naked, i'm next to naked, i give her a kiss and she backs off within half a second, says she doesnt want to do anything and goes for a smoke. A few minutes later she comes back and says she thought "i might try something like that". And then she asks if i thought she was flirting with me (she says she did not / didnt mean to). It sure seemed like it though. And then she tells me she only wants to gave sex with a guy if she really loves him which is why she hadnt had sex in the past 2 years!!! What the hell?!

  2. couple weeks before #1 there was a different girl i had met decide we're going to travel together for a week. I ask if she wants to do a hostel "or something else" and she requests a private apartment! I decide not to do anything with her the first night in bed as i feel it might be too soon but on the second night i give her a kiss and she gets cold feet. Says she's not that kind of girl. But we still enjoy traveling together a lot and have a lot of laughs. A couple nights later i try a bit in the bed to see if she's up for something and she turns me down again.

  3. A girl i had met in city x a few weeks prior tells me she's going to by in city y in a couple weeks and is interested in meeting up and traveling around together. We meet and travel around city y for a couple days - i dont try anything at night as we're staying in a hostel. But in city z i have a private apartment booked for myself while she has het hostel booked. We're spending all our time together and i cook her a gourmet meal at my airbnb rental. Later, after 10 seconds of kissing at the end of the night she decides she doesnt want to do anything then leaves! She's also the shy type.

What the hell is going on? Am i being too nice? Or too agressive? Or am i just picking all the women who are simply not down to fuck or have any fun even with the right person who they seem to like. I swear it seems like all these women have been flirting with me. Am i somehow getting friendzoned despite that i'm trying to be flirty with them (although i'm definitely doing it tastefully and not in a vulgar manner.) Or were these women just not sexually interested in me to begin with? I'm definitely not a prude nor am i trying to be overly focused on sex here but i think it makes traveling more fun and i thought women were supposed to be more easy going about this when traveling.
