I no longer subscribe to the idea that men can be feminine or that women can be masculine. Masculinity and femininity is not merely behavioral or performative. Masculinity is the nature of man. Femininity is the nature of woman. However both can be broken, wounded, and traumatized. This is often what we see when they are not truly operating within their natural instinctual behaviors. Also mineral deficiency can cause this.

Brandy song: Borderline CeeLo Green song: Wlidflower Minnie Riperton song: Les Fleurs Deniece Williams song: Free Anita Baker song: Sweet Love Kenyon Dixon song: Here JVKE song: Golden Hour Mary J. Blige song: Good Morning Gorgeous You’re welcome if anyone checks any of these songs out and enjoys them😉. I have no specific artists but certain melody’s and lyrics are great. Older music is the most feminine in my eyes, since everyone wants to be promiscuous now.

I would prefer to court for marriage, nothing immediate. I apologize for the confusion I should have been more clear. I don’t expect to be married that fast but within a year or two with actual vetting to see growth. I don’t know if I’m being naive to believe it could work between us.

I will respond with a quote I read in the comment section of a YouTube video… “The longer you entertain what’s not for you, the longer you postpone what is.”

Exactly. All things need to be weighed by what thus says the Lord. I agree with some redpill ideas but sexual promiscuity I will never back. It benefits neither gender.

Yeah, I can totally relate. Except they got me to change before my high school years (6th grade). I am still learning myself and figuring things out I know I will never be the person I use to be.

I’ll be honest I stopped reading at paragraph two because that is complete BS. All men are not whores nor do they want to be. Most men where not raised like that at all. This is result of shitty parenting I’ll be honest. The men I’ve met being from the suburbs in the Midwest (Illinois) some are monogamous and some aren’t, just like the women. I however was always attracted to monogamous men, so I haven’t run into problems with that. Sorry if this sounds aggressive, it’s a subject I feel very str…

You handled that pretty great. I’m in awe, but it was meant for you to catch him. On to bigger and better things for sure. You should watch some of these videos on YouTube by some people I think you could benefit from: Jasmyne Theodora, Dre Drexler, Dear Future Wifey Podcast, and Scott and Kelli’s relationship videos.

I personally believe it’s possible. It’s about finding a man that will be the right fit for you and the life you want for the future.

😂 Not if you don’t want to. It is beneficial for one woman and one man to be together forever, but this is not always possible.

I think you need to respect yourself and trust yourself more. What has given me security and peace was not worrying about things I cannot change. If a man was meant for you he would be good for your health. Don’t worry too much just try to be yourself and build up your own self worth.

Yes, he is more watered down I suppose. Sounds like you support the feminist ideology that Andrew Tate hates women. The character he portrays and his message are two completely different things.

I think you should leave him, your views don’t align. You sound like you want him to be similar to you and that will never happen. Find someone who’s not a Christian.

Sigh Honestly it would be lucrative for you guys to try and get into a slower paced field. Buy houses to rent out. Get into Airbnb. Get into investing course. You all need to make some “passive” income. As for how you should operate until he finds a way to bring in more income with less stress. You should lessen the things he needs to do at home. Give him encouraging words. Plan dates if only for 1-2 hours. Get dressed up and look beautiful/sexy around the house. Get into a tv series or a good b…

Exactly. I want to add that acting a certain way to get a specific thing often doesn’t work in the long run. Being “hard to get” will get you a specific type of man, not a husband. There are different types of men in the world the types you’ve been getting clearly don’t like that. The men you should be going for (husband material men) will love a kind, supportive, submissive, and intelligent woman.

Some other helpful male influences would be: Dre Drexler, Hamza, Tristan Tate, Dear Future Wifey Podcast, and The basement with Tim Ross. But I would say you need to focus on becoming the best version of yourself. Gain more knowledge about life. Some women to watch would be: Jasmyne Theodora, Sarah Dawn Moore, Bindi Marc, Scott and Kelli, and Girl Defined.

How old are you? I wasn’t into modern feminist ideology but my parents definitely projected their fears unto me. As for what helped me to become more in tune with my femininity, it was learning about biblical femininity (Jasmine Theodora is one YouTuber). Then I stumbled across men talking about what it means to be a man/husband (Mark Driscoll, Dre Drexler, Hamza, The Dear Future Wifey Podcast, etc.). But once I started watching stuff like that I started seeing men talk about the problems their …

Maybe letting him know that you guys are a team, that you’re on his side. Let him know that you want the best outcome for the both of you.

I see. Then you can’t expect him to be social or have “manners” when he wasn’t taught that in his household. Does he want kids? If so does he intend to treat them how his family treats him? It sounds like he doesn’t want people too close to him, he seems distant. If he treats you the way you want to be treated, this relationship can work as long as you communicate with him your wants/needs and if he is receptive and wants to change.

Instantly I feel bad for you. I feel like he is manipulative or he doesn’t view women as people (but as property). Either do what he wants you to do and eventually end up divorcing that man, or get marriage counseling (either he wants your marriage to work or not). Being a submissive wife only works when your under a great leader, and said leader considers the household not just himself. Advice wise I would say stick to the boundaries you have set. Instead of saying “I can’t” say “no, I’m not co…

I wouldn’t say your nitpicking. You have uncommunicated exceptations, you want him to treat your family as an extension of you. I would have to ask how he interacts/ treats his own family. The question you should be asking yourself is if you want to deal with him the rest of your life (maybe not being married), you’ve already wasted your younger years with him. As a woman I don’t know what’s going on in his head, but a man knows whether he wants to spend the rest of his life with someone within …

I want to start by saying that femininity is not cookie cutter for every woman. I would start by asking myself what I need from a life partner. Then I would have conversations with him about my thoughts and vision changing and wanting to become more traditional in the way of masculine and feminine energy (see how he feels/reacts). If he’s receptive to this idea then I would start to change how I treat him, show him more respect, allow him to take up more responsibility, allow him to make decisio…

I would have to assume it’s not just about you watching football with him, it’s the connection he wants. So I would say that you both would benefit from going on more date nights (just the two of you) even if your only out for 2 hours. Something you both can enjoy while spending quality time together such as bowling, tennis, walking, restaurants, wine tasting, museum, culinary class, double dates, movie theater, long car rides, a short vacation, etc. As for little hobbies you can do while he’s w…

Oh, huh. I’ve never thought that way, I don’t associate labels with specific things like monogamy. The labels are more a mindset to me (people subscribe to the ideas). People who subscribe to their specific labels don’t even follow them to a T. Also majority of people in the world are monogamous so I just assume the labels refer to their beliefs on politics, gender, God, lifestyle, food, modesty, etc.

I do not have this fear at all. If you believe that all men cheat then you are doing yourself a disservice. Majority of men in the world are monogamous and do not like sharing nor being shared. I feel like once you understand men and people in general your fears will dissolve. Don’t listen to hateful people (of either gender). Discernment is all you need for choosing a spouse, making sure your values, morals, goals, and lifestyle align. You have to show up like the type of man you are trying to …

For me personally I’ve started with Pilates, but I found that my fitness goals are to build muscle to fill out and to gain a higher body fat %. So I started weightlifting I lift no higher than 15lbs for arms and 25lbs for legs. I do not have access to a gym unless I’m on trips (hotel/vacation). I only have two 10lb weights so I work out 4x a week. So far I have gained muscle and filled out that way, still working on my calories for upping body fat %. But my goal is to be 120lbs and not look bulk…

On top of this if you do choose to do physical activity you could go on walks or do low impact exercises daily. Caroline Jordan on YouTube has great content for low impact exercises. Going to therapy might be beneficial for you if there is a much deeper issue like something that happened in childhood or youth that has affected you mentally. I would also recommend intermittent fasting. Your mind holds all the power, you are powerful and you need to realize that power and own it.

I agree, great response. Chances are he was irresponsible when you met him. It’s definitely a short coming on his part. If you don’t want to live with that for the rest of your life… leave. How can he be masculine if he doesn’t take initiative. Masculinity is being a leader, providing, protecting, and being level headed. He might not be the one for you tbh. It seems like your in love with your idea of him and he fell short of your ideal of him in your head. You don’t love who he truly is you lov…

This was insightful, thanks for sharing this story. I would have to agree I don’t think planning to fail is beneficial. If both parties do not put in hard work on themselves as well as the relationship it will certainly fail. It sounds like you both want to change things within the relationship, without changing yourselves internally. Unless he is extremely abusive and demeaning towards you don’t run. Work to make life easier for him in the home even as far as how you speak to him. He is probabl…

You should get it in your head that men do not approach women they do not find physically attractive (nor befriend them). Honestly it will never change that is how men operate. Men and women cannot be friends. However you could find other couples to become friends with. If you can you should strengthen your relationships with men in your family, I know everyone’s family isn’t great, but if you personally have the option.

I’ve recently watched a video speaking a bit about this topic. Let me start by stating, men and women are different. Men feel loved in different ways. They feel loved through physical contact, seeing your beauty or personal upkeep, feeling at peace in your presence, and lastly feeling as though they are respected. This doesn’t mean they love you less or you love them more, it means we love differently. As men and women we value different things.
