You were absolutely right. Its like her wanting to marry you and you refuse unless she gets surgery on her boobs a few sizes. Dude I been down a similar road, thats not fair to you in any way and if thats a demand for marriage, who knows what else she'll demand from you.

My only thought was I thought it was going far when super heroes, ie IMAGINARY chacarcters can't give consent. But I'm kind of seeing the understanding behind the power argument. Thoughts?

Vice is pure click-bait. It goes for the most outrageous or ridiculous claims solely for your views. My advice to everyone is just don't read it. Even if you want to tell off the people who wrote it. Don't feed the trolls.

Uh. I don't give a shit what your gender is nor what ethnicity you are. Either you're the right person for the job or not. This is like saying we need an equal amount of white people in basketball. They're underrepresented! Nothing is stopping whities from playing. Sure you may feel insecure about your dick size with only black guys around you but if you can match them in skill, you're fit for the job! ...seriously Intel, take a step back and think about what you're doing.

Poor choice words on my part. But regardless of your faith and beliefs, a religious view is separate from a men's rights. So I wasn't intending to debate on religious stances. I was simply making a comparison of a zealous reaction many groups make when offered counter evidence to their views. And many religious groups have done that, so became my example. Rather than accepting a different view based on reason, I find some attempt to silence opponents via bigotry. This is well used in many '-isms…

Touché. Just trying to make an analogy. How about "Don't tell me to close my car door when I run into the bank. Teach your kids not to steal my stuff/car!" My point was to say I shouldn't HAVE to take safety measures in a fantasy world. But the bottom line is that doing so is beneficial to me.

No. I'm saying that; clothing doesn't give someone permission, However it does have a language. if I was dressed as a cop, it would relay a sense of authority to others even if I never said I was a cop. So if you were to wear suggestive clothing like lingerie, you STILL gave no permission that you want any sexual advances from me. But at on a separate note it is relaying a language. So I'm not saying she's 'asking for it'. Just wanted to establish to them the fact that whatever the case, clothin…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
