You're assuming here that all humans act rationally.

If it's on your mind so much, then you should go for it. I haven't seen anyone regret getting things like these done. Nothing is worth more than your confidence.

Hi /u/spockaliciouss/. You must know from from other subs. Your question will have different answers based on different cultures and beliefs. As a practicing (I try my best) Muslim man, even though I'm just 25, I really can't wait to get married and probably have children in a few years. The only thing stopping me is that I'm not settled financially at all, and I would probably marry someone right now if I find someone who's okay with it. It's not just for the physical part (although that is a b…

It is okay to move for him if you feel like it. You will make new friends in Canada and build a new life. It doesn't look like you're giving up a lot (like you don't have a career or business in the USA). You are lucky in that there aren't many cultural differences between you two, neither is the distance too large. There are stories of people moving halfway through the world to be with their partner. This could work out quite well. And even if it doesn't, you can always return.

Coz men are expected to 'man up' and not talk about them.

You must have seen How can she slap? Female privilege exists regardless of feminism. I live here and I can confirm. The story of rural lower classes might be different.

I'm talking about non-feminist women. They feel entitled to being treated as 'special' by men coz they're weaker than men.
