> Why don’t you provide women with the same total equality of treatment that you demand? It’s like asking you to treat a women who’s unattractive to you like you would treat your dream girl. Why don’t you accept that just like women, you treat someone you see as the full package differently to someone who you see as fun entertainment? why would you want to date someone who isn't attracted to you tho

i dont think i agree that his strategy effectively changes women's minds. its entertaining and he brings up a lot of valid & reasonable points, but i dont think you effectively convince someone by beating them down with arguments. Ben Shapiro can destroy as many leftists with facts and logic as he likes, he's not going to convince them to change their minds it reads like a better bachelor episode but instead of reading an article he's taking callers
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 03:41 PM

i am heavily inclined to believe its true someone who a woman knows sleeps with a lot of women can inductively reason that that man has qualities that women find desirable, and may have qualities that she finds desirable men don't have to dig deep for their selection criteria because whether a woman's hot is entirely visible

why would it be illegal lmao? you're not under any legal obligation to marry anyone i dont think someone who's conservative enough to not have sex until marriage is going to be particularly cut up about discriminating against trans ppl

on the one hand, yes on the other hand, you can always find a new gym. if its a crappy job that doesn't matter, you can always find a new job if you're after a good LTR you shouldn't pass up these opportunities. but don't shit where you eat to get hookups

i've had two big periods in which i've made successful efforts to lose weight one was for general fitness and started back in 2017, i lost around 15kg over the year and that helped a lot with my body's energy regulation. i lost another 10kg over 2020 because weight is a big comorbidity factor for COVID. i'm 5'11 and am sitting on 80kg atm losing the first lot of weight turned me from a complete social nobody to someone halfway decent. the second lot of weightloss got me somewhere that i could ca…

honestly i think most of the shaming of modest/chaste women is either from women who are slutty or feminists who think that being modest or chaste is PaTrIaRcHy men dont really care

you made a direct comparison between adult women exploiting adult men, and adult men exploiting girls. your subject line is directly stating that there is an equivalency between the two positions fair enough if you think that exploiting simps is comparable with statutory rape but i think you're overselling the point

'lightly' shamed nah, people who contribute to single parenthood under these circumstances should be heavily shamed

i don't know if i'm extrapolating too far from your post, but are you suggesting that women who exploit simps are on par with pedophile men? jeez woman i hate ethots but that's another level

it's more annoying when you get women who say "i want a 6 figure man" without realizing that <10% of the entire population earns 6 figures, but don't bother trying to be in the top 10% of women

you're not saying that women's careers matter, though; you're saying that women's careers can be used as a tool to gain insights into their personalities. that's true, but women value mens' work as an end in and of itself, not just as a barometer by which to assess the man's personality.

the majority of college graduates are women because colleges and the education system as a whole have been re-engineered over the last 50 years to cater to womens' preferred learning style i'm not sure how severe the sociocultural impacts are but i think it'll probably end up in the 'mildly irritating' square
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/21 04:41 PM

i don't think tinder is representative of the overall population of men, you are getting the population which is between the 10-25% men irt dating success you are comparing this to women who are 'successful' in the dating market, seeing as all but one of them have partnered off that said, the perspective of dating from men online is not necessarily proven or disproven on the back of this, it's just an extremely limited tool for analysis

i was 27 when i had my first so it definitely isnt then if your problem is that you are 'too old' you just need to get to the point where you don't care that it hasnt happened for you

i don't think i do i suppose i have a problem with childless feminists, or any other childless loudmouth; you have no skin in the game when it comes to the future of the society if you don't have kids, so you shouldn't be taken seriously
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/21 06:43 PM
2

I'm inclined to agree with your assessment on men not wanting long-term/serious relationships past the age of 30 because if you're in the game, you can get laid without needing to lay down commitment most of the time. If you're not in the game by age 30, you've probably checked out. I don't think that women at 30 are actually being outcompeted by other women at 30 who provide more sex for less commitment; they're being outcompeted by 25 year old women who provide more sex for less commitment.

on the one hand, i think the 'porn sick limp dick' meme has meat to it. wanking too much turns a man into a hollow husk of his former self and that is good for nobody on the other hand i agree entirely in regards to pickmes. they're mad that other women are undercutting them in a way that "isn't fair to play the game". if women don't like that other people are playing the game, too bad sex work is half and half. on the one hand yes prostitutes expand the market in a way that isn't good for FDS. …

ehhh... i would imagine that most people would say that they've met an incel, even though the person they've met may never identify as such nor even understand the concept. it would make sense for someone to have met an FDS or a TRP by the same coin.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/21 03:08 PM
1

it's probably more that these portions of the internet are very very concentrated forms of the ideologies and while the larger portions of society don't even recognize the ideology, the extreme form exists in an extremely diluted form across the entire society TRP isnt really recognized and practiced in general society, but things like shaming simps and the importance of lifting are part of the common parlance when they weren't necessarily before

Not trusting someone for something they might do in the future with no evidence that they will apparently all women are afraid of all men because they might rape them either you're allowed to distrust people or you're not, pick one

i was simply asking a question based on seeing other groups that have claimed discrimination - how they achieved a level of equality and why those same actions aren’t being done since they’ve been effective before. This is the part that doesn't follow; you are asserting a connection between data points ("x worked for y, therefore x will work for z" "protests worked for black people, therefore protests will work for men") but there is not enough positive data to make such a connection and plenty …

Historically, every group that has faced discrimination have only seen change/improvements by actively doing the work themselves There are two problems with your thesis which are fundamentally underlined in this point. Firstly, there's no evidence that if men were to advocate for themselves publicly in the same way that these people do, they would be met with any kind of success. You would be torching your own image and gaining precious little in return. Secondly, you're assuming that no work is…

i'm assuming you're talking about the study that compares men and women within the 20-29 age bracket and your misinterpretation of the points being made and of the study is founded in this error One on hand, man sharing is wide spread. Don't cheat okay so here is big problem: if you are fit, moneyed and alpha, you have no good reason to marry and no good reason to commit. you will be able to pnd until your dick falls off. at that point, it is not that marriage is too risky a goal - it is that marriage provides no functional purpose. > 2. no you just go out and do date things but with your bro(s). had a dinner date lined up with a lady? go out with a bro and get pizza. going to see a movie? take your bro with you. it provides you with 1. a bro, 2. the opportunity for you and your bro to pick up chicks

This is really weird insecurity. Just because you know how to do something doesn't mean you're going to do it. Do you think a butcher could never own a dog because they'd know how to cut it up?

I think there have been proper studies that have suggested that this is the case; people do gravitate towards their looksmatch, or more specifically the looksmatch for their self-image. I wonder how many people get screwed by an excessively low self esteem making them target people who are way lower on the totem pole - but those people don't reciprocate because they (rightly) think the person is punching below their weight.

Yeah but if you wanna be a boytoy you gotta have that boytoy body. You can't be a balding fatty in your 40s

I think there is a general problem with your thesis; it's also possible that any man a woman is interested in at a later age, or who has been on the carousel, is going to be looking at your wallet more closely. If you were omnichad alpha during your 20s and get into a committed relationship in your 30s, is it not just as possible that you will be entering a beta bucks relationship?

I don't really understand the question. First one, I'd probably say yes to the guy who texted first and ask the second dude if he wants to come too. If second dude says yes, great; if he says no, we'll hang out later at some point. Second one, probably Megan Fox lookalike. The only profession that I dislike more than actor is teacher.

Honestly I don't think I'd be able to live if I didn't have a spare bed that I could go sleep in if I needed. Most of the time, sleeping with the wife in the same bed? Yeah. If you're ill or whatever? No.

This seems a bit odd. I don't think many redpill men think you can change women. Sure there are the extremes who are basically muslim lite but I don't think redpill/manosphere as a whole thinks changing women is the strategy. The main streams of thought are redpill (improve yourself and understand women) and mgtow (improve yourself and disregard women). It almost always comes down to 'stop putting pussy on a pedestal' in the manosphere. I think the most that a redpill guy might actually want out…

Perhaps it is opposite; you've been desensitized to the 'low level creepiness' because you've had to mentalize more serious things.
