For your data. Prior to marriage 12 women. Wife was lucky #13. During marriage 9 women (some cheating, then open marriage plus 3some toward the end). After marriage… 42 girls in the last 26 months. I knew I wasn’t ready for any semblance of a relationship until at least 2 years post divorce. In my case I wanted to get to know as many different types of women as possible. I know know more of what I like, and I know what I don’t tolerate. Its far easier to walk away from a bad sitch, and its far m…

What I want: A life of freedom and flexibility and fame. Why I want it: I want freedom and I mean financial freedom, liquid assets, cash in the bank, real estate in several locations so I can come and go as I please. I want flexibility because it means I’m not as susceptible to pandemics, economic or emotional depressions around particular things, in other words no catastrophic systemic failures like in previous years. I want fame so that my reputation proceeds me. I want inbound opportunities a…

Very easy to slide into “my mission is to find my mission”. I think that even searching for meaning has to be done in moderation. Declare what you are curious in, follow that with discipline, reflect on the experience, make another declaration?

Stats: 37, divorced, no kids. 5’11” 180 lbs, don’t know BF… estimate 15% PHYSICAL: Finally got my knee functioning for squats and lunges. Taking it very easy for now. Was doing bar until the pain went away now up to 60lbs. Side note: Just sitting here at a cafe rn… holy shit literally everyone here is overweight. The booths built in the 50s are straining to support these asses. So no excuses for me. Right now I’m still recovering from an injury but I know it’s time to ramp up the weight. I’m rea…

Late to the OYS shit again. Divorced, 37, 5’11” 180 lbs PHYSICAL: Don’t know my exact weight or BF. Traveling and need to find a gym with a scale and at least do the pinch method. Also need to schedule a dr appt for an overdue physical. Scheduling tendonopothy for some scar tissue on a swollen tendon in my back. Started working through a tight knee pain. This is an on and off again problem over the years. I often take 3 months off from certain movements line squats and compensate with leg raises…

Stats: 37, 5’11”, 178 lbs, don’t even know my bf% anymore… Status: Was married for 5 years, was together for 8 total, divorced two years ago, no kids. So its been ten years since starting anything serious. Why I’m back here at MRP? At least two reasons. 1 It helped me get my shit together and I’ve been letting it slide. I lack discipline. Working like 30 hrs/wk, smoking, drugs, sleeping in, not exercising, eating bad, etc. I know you guys will hold me accountable. 2 After seeing my gramma and gr…

Don’t be bitter about people wanting you to have progress. Nothing in your post says you disagree with his suggestions. Perhaps you’re combative because you didn’t resolve to do them without his pressure. If so that’s just ego. If he’s pressuring you to do something you oppose that’s another thing. Surround yourself with people who challenge you to live your best life.

I expect my wife to make introductions to improve my situation, as she would expect me to do the same. We in this thread don’t know the particular details of the request but as you’ve explained it he asked you to contribute value and you declined, however it doesn’t seem like you offered an explanation? It’s not a big deal if there’s other things you can contribute on. Any lasting relationship will have ups and downs. I agree with the other comment, explain your reasoning to him and if he’s a de…
