What country or countries are very conservative in medicating?

https://www.rainn.org/get-information/types-of-sexual-assault/was-it-rape I thought “no,” but didn’t say it. Is it still rape? It depends on the circumstances. If you didn’t say no because you were legitimately scared for your life or safety, then it would likely be considered rape. Sometimes it isn’t safe to resist, physically or verbally — for example, when someone has a knife or gun to your head, or threatens you or your family if you say anything. If you’ve been raped or sexually assaulted, …

Regarding your edit: I'm aware women have rape fetishes, but to go for it without first acknowledging with them that it is pretend and that there is a safe word, this is very dangerous. It could even be as simple as a quick, "Do you know what a safe word is?" "Yeah" "The safe word is 'banana.'" Then go right back into whatever you are doing. You hardly have to even slow down to accomplish that.

16 worries me. At first I was excited that the issue was addressed, but then to say that pushing you away physically is just a game seems like dangerous territory.

So all of the reading I do on a variety of topics on reddit doesn't make me more knowledgeable?

There is way more information available to a person than there ever has been before. Since it is impossible to get to even a tiny fraction of all of it If you're trying to be the best that you can be in a certain area, this is just an excuse. And what if someone doesn't want to be "the best" at it, but still seeks improvement? Is that wrong?

What I'm saying is that there are books on tons of subjects. Reading 6 books doesn't sound tough, but to a person wanting broad knowledge, that is a lot as they are also wanting to learn about other things.

There is way more information available to a person than there ever has been before. Since it is impossible to get to even a tiny fraction of all of it, it is important to figure out ways to approach it. One way is to try to get to a lot of basic concepts in a lot of areas rather than delving into just a few.

What he is saying is, "go for it anyway", but passing the responsibility on to you so he doesn't have to deal with being called a dick. I'll say it, don't mess with someone's girl. It makes you a dick and an enabler. Stay classy.

I think you are reaching a bit there. Yes, the OP's desire is probably to have sex with girls, but what he is asking directly is the more tame, how do I make my dorm one where girls will want to hang out.

My longest relationship was 8yrs. During this time frame, I had two OTHER long-term relationships, one which last 3yrs, and another that lasted 2.5yrs, not to mention the random hook-ups and what have you. You are an asshole and don't deserve the women you sometimes get.

That which is abundant does not have much value, by definition. I must disagree with this general premise as it does not apply to all things. When discussing something like metals, yes I would agree. When talking about women, I believe there can be a lot of great women out there. I think your argument of high quality women being super rare is incorrect. If you are just stating the extremely obvious fact of what is rare is not abundant, then of course. But what it sounds like you are saying is th…

I believe the issue they are having is not that they don't want to change/improve, but they don't want to not be themselves. They don't want to go against their sense of self and/or do things that they find against their ethics/morals/beliefs.

Right, I get that part. We take someone else's views and compare them to our own experiences and "quote" (double irony there) the ones we think fit. Your use of the word delusional is what doesn't make sense.

Your use of the word delusional still doesn't really make sense. Delusion: false belief or opinion Perhaps you simply mean false?

Quotes are a delusional sense of knowledge that one can relate to. You are going to have to put this differently because right now it doesn't make much sense to me. "Self-respect is the root of discipline: The sense of dignity grows with the ability to say no to oneself." ~Abraham Joshua Heschel, The Insecurity of Freedom: Essays on Human Existence, 1967 "What makes resisting temptation difficult for many people is they don't want to discourage it completely." ~Franklin P. Jones "You have to dec…

One could also find quotes about willpower and patience as well. People tend to find quotes that confirm their beliefs. Just because it is a quote doesn't make it true.

You are trying to rationalize the inappropriate behavior. You might actually might find that once she starts throwing herself at you, you won't even want her anymore. You will be too busy banging all her best friends. This statement does not imply treating women great and simply making them happy. I never condoned women playing "jealousy games" either. Of course there can be some teasing or "playing" if your prefer, but to manipulate a woman into craving you and then deciding you'd rather contin…

I really dislike how seddit often views picking up girls as a game. To me, this report was an example of how being genuine, with perhaps some added confidence, helped him connect with a great girl. Only partially directed at you. It seems that's what you took away from it, techniques.

You could? From everything I've seen and read regarding human biology, it is the guys that pursue and the women who decide who is worthy. Even from a biological perspective, women have limited resources (eggs) and so must be much more choosey than guys (sperm).

From what I've read on this subreddit, I think I have a decent understanding of the mentality. Some view it is a series of psychological tricks to use on women to get them to sleep with you (not the part I like) and some view it as a way to simply understand women (the part I like). Grow up and stop being judgemental. You are commenting in a post I made requesting that people help others who lack confidence or knowledge on how to be with women. Further, lack of endorsement is not the same as com…

As I stated in the title, I'm not pushing PUA on them. I'm just saying that a lot of people on here have good advice on helping build confidence in people. I'm not sure I agree with the PUA mentality as it is sometimes used, but I have found useful information here regarding how women interpret things and how to improve while still being myself.
