Actually depending on what brand of reincarnation one buys into, some beliefs say you're actually born into shittier circumstances the higher up ones advanced in the spiritual realm.

I agree with the only thing that really matters being financial class. Willow Smith is a black female and will have more privileges and opportunities easily laid at her feet than I ever will because she won the lottery of being born as the daughter of a famous and rich actor.

I have 3 pro MMA bouts, 13 ammy bouts and 4 ammy kickboxing matches under my belt. I never quite look shredded but I do almost zero lifting. However i'm looking at bare minimum adding some killer kettlebell routines to my conditioning as well as upping my pull up/chin up/dip sets and variations which will make me stronger and give me more of a muscular look. I've rarely been injured and I feel like a lot of the guys who lift heavy and fight train seem to get hurt a lot more. All this being said …

advanced daycare system for overgrown babies This is exactly how i'd describe most of my time at Uni. 20 year Olds paying 4-6k a semester to run around campus and shoot each other with nerf guns. But oh, their life is so hard cause they have an 8am lab that one day of the week. The real world is going to murder most of these kids.

No one says you have to pretend to be poor. Feigning your social income status and being mums about It are two entirely different things. Secondly, for guys who aren't as initiated and don't have as much real world experience, leaning on the appearance of wealth to carry them through could easily turn into a disaster.

I disagree on counselors being snake oil salesmen. I know some very RP type guys who go to good (usually male) counselors and it makes a world of difference. If anything it helps them retain a sense of stoicism in their business and personal lives because they have an outlet. I agree that most men these days are too quick to openly emote, but burying everything all the time isn't healthy either.

I've reached the point where even if I'm very physically attracted to a girl, I won't give her the time of day if she's mouthy and/or rude. I just simply don't care anymore. Beauty is common. Prove you're worth my time.

Fighter checking in. MMA/Kickboxing girls will test your frame hard and if you waver even a bit, I find they are less forgiving. However, they are also a bit more crazy. I think it's the conflict between always trying to be a hard/bad ass but still wanting to be female underneath it all.

My personal favorite example is Marshal Dillon of Gunsmoke. He manages the town calmly, handles trouble when it comes up, and rarely loses his temper. Even when someone's threatening his life. He maintains a level of stoic "calm yet ready" poise in every difficult situation.

ITT: Don't date anyone. Seriously. If you only date women your attracted too that have no kids and arent already mixed up with someone you're knocking it down to 5-15 percent of the datable female population. Not 5-15 percent of the total female population. Hell using this criteria back in my hometown, that leaves like five girls. Kinda hard to have abundance mentality with those numbers

There was a very old book that I found in e-book form that was a tremendous read. The central theme is about having focus and how to make great achievements in life. One of they key things in that book (which caught me off guard) is that it is imperative that you keep your goals secret as much as possible. Basically, keep the shit to yourself and use the energy you'd brag about what you're going to do into what you actually want done.

The comparison reminds me of how dogs decide what to sniff. The reason a dog will rummage around in the garbage if you let them, is that they don't differentiate between "good" or "bad" smells. All strong smells are simply interesting. Their noses are drawn to smells that are of interest too them. Same thing with emotions for women. They are drawn to the range of emotions. Regardless of whether they're "good or bad". The mere excitement of being emotionally fulfilled is good enough for them.

It's not so much that I don't think it's everyone's problem. Rather, I feel as though things have already slid so far in so many facets that things have enough momentum to cause the big societal crash regardless. Even if I wanted to save the world, I don't even completely believe it's possible. Maybe my sentiment will change. But as if right now, it is where it is.

One of my female professors in college marked my grade down a bit for lack of attendance during a certain time frame. You know what we were doing during that time frame? Discussing a page and a half long editorial about women in Saudi Arabia. We had fucking discussed it to death over the course of a few days, and I felt like getting caught up on my insane engineering homework was more pressing. Never mind that I passed all of the quizzes and such with flying colors.

I will bluntly tell you that you will have moments of weakness where you see your peers with families/kids and feel kind of "left out" These periods will be short lived however. Hang out with guys who got married young and see how downtrodden they look. Sure, there are a handful of guys who get into this stuff because it's what they really want. But most get into the family situation because it's what you're "supposed" to do. Ask these guys to randomly go smoke cigars and play pool, hit the stri…

just because they are being loyal. This is the crux of the problem for most guys I think. Men assume that women value loyalty in the same strata of the relationship hierarchy. They don't. Or at least the value they put onto loyalty is a bit more Machavellian. Loyalty is boring to women. And a woman would rather be mad at you than bored with you any day of the week
/r/TheRedPill24/05/15 12:48 AM

Because being married to a guy who doesn't know any better means he gets to stop trying. He has his woman "tied down" now so he doesn't have to worry about that part of his life.

I "lost" the last girl that I was serious with (and was convinced I was going to eventually marry) due to a similar fashion. She didn't understand suffering and having less security now, for the potential of greater things later. Now I'm in a position to make 5 times what a normal job would net me. I'm happy it all worked out the way it did.

You know what should disturb everyone here, is that I have yet to talk to a woman who doesn't like this show. My own mother included. We do a similar drill for people that have fights coming up called "wall drill" Basically the guy getting hit has his back against the wall, head gear on and little mma gloves. Everyone else wears big boxing gloves. They then get in a line and basically T off on you at a moderate rate of power and speed. Guy against the wall only gets to defend. Point of the drill is to get used to someone throwing at you and maintaining your calm. Keep your eyes forward, even if you fuck up and get tagged. If y…

Doesn't even have to be rape. A guy I was buddies with in high school accidentally ran into a woman in a store. She tells the manager he did it on purpose to grope her. I highly recommend to any guys wanting examples of being truly alpha without being "over the top" to watch those old shows. The Rifleman and Gunsmoke in particular. Aside from still being fairly entertaining despite being well before most of our time, they are great examples of "Walk Speak softly but carry a big stick". Quiet mild mannered guys who don't talk too much, don't complain too much, get the job done when necessary and don't take shit.

I was just discussing this with someone the other day. I rarely get mad at women anymore. I'm completely over the "anger phase" and now am just in a position where if a woman does something really shitty or unforgivable then she's no longer a part of my life. I don't get mad I just drop her.

By being limited to "girls who only want to settle" it kind of fucks up a genuinely nice guys ability to date around and find a girl who's right for him. Because the woman typically wants to go into "instantly serious" mode and keep that guy on lock. And it'll work too. Because anyone can appear to be a great potential marriage partner for the first 3-4 months (approximately the amount of time it takes to get totally sucked in)

The PUA rant makes sense. I think the issue is that the "PUA lifestyle" reeks of imbalance. I fell behind in life in many other areas because of focusing on that area. Now did I get better with women? Oh yes. But I suffered financially and physically. I was probably a complete bore to talk to when speaking with anyone who wasn't doing the same. Truth. The 3rd guy for all intents and purposes is acting AF yet posters in here who are concerned for the child's welfare are saying this is bad influence. But if the kid grows up thinking monogamy is a joke and that getting married is a bad idea as a result of his parents relationship, wouldn't he become exactly like most of the guys on her advocate being? There seems to be some cognitive dissonance on this matter round these parts.

This is a key thing that I think a lot of guys miss. Lacking exposure to an above average range of attractive girls will kill most of your "game". One needs to create an environment or participate in an environment with a steady supply of attractive women to really see the benefits of the work they've done on themselves that attracts more women by proxy. Another point I like to ad is that it helps being the "lead" person in whatever environment that ends up being. Girls are naturally more drawn …

I think the real key point to take away is that one should be willing to cut out any toxic influence of their life once they are capable of supporting themselves. Male, female, friend, gf, wife, family. Doesn't matter. If anyone in your life is secretly killing you on the inside then that relationship needs to be axed.

I am not financially ready for children. I also have a bit of traveling i'd like to be free to do as I please so I'm not invested enough in the topic to have fully pursued what options are available. But from what I've read and seen these are the main ones: 1: Open marriage with ironclad prenup and parenting plan (to resolve custody disputes). Situation could dictate being more flexible in this area. My cousin took in 2 kids from Hati who's parents were both killed in that massive earthquake from a few years back. So which would be better for society? A couple of orphans running the streets of a 3rd world country or them living with a stable loving family and learning how to be a man from a guy who i'd consider fairly alpha. He has the resources to do so and seems to genuinely enjoy having them around.

I originally stumbled across this concept when I was reading one of Gunwitch's e-books. A more intermediate problem arises with this as well in the man who gets halfway there and then fucks it up. The woman is attracted to a man with drive, vision, and a mission. She becomes a loving nurturing influence in his life. The man may continue on his quest for a little while as this woman continues to be an asset to his goals. But somewhere along the line, he switches perspective and goes backwards. He thinks, "Here is this woman who is at my side doing all of these great things. I need t…

PUA can be a great stepping stone. There are lots of guys who feel pretty good about most of their life. But for whatever reason, suck in the arena of dating/women. Granted some of it is garbage, but other stuff is pretty solid. It's like any other skillset. I think where most guys screw up is when the "PUA" aspect of their lives becomes the central focus for an extended time. A life centered around laying women and nothing else becomes very hollow. I think something that a lot of guys don't get and women like to gloss over is that for the most part, women are typically far more developed than men in male/female relationship dynamics because they start talking about boys much earlier than boys do about girls. This thread seems like a good place to remind others of sunk cost fallacy and how it keeps them in bad relationships. I have a close buddy right now going through this same shit with a girl he's been with forever. He naturally found this sub along with a few other blogs but keeps coming back with all of that "but we've been together for so long" argument. It's painful to listen too. There is a guy who I basically consider a spiritual mentor that also covered this topic in a very insightful way. …

The biggest problem I see with your post/question is not that you're discussing monogamy, but that you're talking about roping a girl into an exclusive relationship, then once you have her stop doing the things that attracted her to you in the first place. This is a surefire recipe for breeding resentment. The only exception possibly being if you were in an LTR with someone who's SMV is well below yours

I see that shit on my FB page all the time. "10 ways not to piss off your bartender" and 8 times out of 10 it's posted by an attractive girl who oozes entitlement. That's why if I'm at a busy high end place I usually avoid attractive female bartenders like the plague unless I know them.

I don't think a physical planner is necessary for everyone It may be a generational thing (i'm early 30s) but there's something more "real" and tangible about having an actual hard copy of something that you physically have to write into. Somehow having it actually written down into something like a hard bound planner with black leather covers makes it more important. I don't understand the psychology behind it, but it makes sense. I use both but stuff that's written down just feels more importa…

The guy is painfully average in appearance and way too short. He could have done something to offset the height deficiency but he hasn't. He's mildly overweight and out of shape, he doesn't shave his balding hair nor his face, and his fashion sense is awful. Everything you mentioned except the height is fixable. That's what I don't get is that you'd think after that many approaches and failures he'd think "maybe I should work on something besides openers and NLP"

Dude wasn't terrible looking but 5'2" is pretty short. I'd be interested to witness one of these supposed 3k approaches. If he was halfway decent he should have got some respectable numbers out of that just by the sheer law of averages. The one year he said he did 1000 approaches in a year. That's almost 3 new girls a day. Even on a cold streak i'd hope one could at least land a new FB within a week.

Social awareness varies with women just as it would in the difference between a "BP" and "RP" man. I've had women in relationships straight up tell me that they weren't going to sleep with me because they didn't want to risk ruining the provider relationship. Some get the dynamic some don't. Usually the ones that don't are younger.

Women can't tell the difference between fuck value and LTR value. Most women are much more socially aware than you are giving them credit for in this statement.

As I said, I do understand your premise and we're in agreement here. The initial wording of your comment came across as dismissive of her having any responsibility at all. I gathered that this dude has been getting walked on for a long while when he said that she's kind to everyone but him. It's obvious she lost respect for him ages ago and this whole situation is a long term reaping of that harvest.

When your LTR shows signs of attraction to another guy Exactly this. LTRs work best when this kind of shit comes up and your remind her that she's replaceable. Never in my 10+ dating history have I seen any woman backpedal faster than when she thinks another woman might take her spot. This is from dating nice girls, ghetto chicks, strippers and professionals alike. Universal truism.

Solid write up. I've resorted to texting very rarely and I think hearing your voice gives her a chance to hear your tonality which is something that's lacking in text. Woman wanted to get rid of her husband, she poisoned him. 100+ years ago it was really easy to poison people. There are cases about women who would marry older men and poison them. One woman who got caught red handed, it was later found out she was married 10+ times. All she did was poison her husbands, after they died sell off his properties. I read the novel. Haven't seen the movie. The novel goes into a very deep narrative from Amy's perspective as to how she was simply being her best self when they met and she played along because Nick was basically being his best (alpha, rp, whatever) self. Look, you guys can't have it both ways. I don't think it's as much an attempt to re-define masculinity as it is simply the pendulum swinging too far in another direction. A lot of these guys who post over in RP are very new in their disillusionment with female relations. A woman loses absolutely nothing, in the evolutionary sense, by being cheated on. Legit question. How do you figure? I used to just accept female sarcasm as part of the banter and part of the game. Last few years I've been a lot more honest with myself in just how incredibly unattractive I find it. The occasional jab is fine, but a girl who's just constantly ripping into you in this contest of one-upsmanship is exhausting and ultimately boring. A woman can still be emotionally supportive regardless. Women are much better at picking up social cues. There is just too much drama. When kids are involved, it's like dating on hard mode. The women are very upfront about the fact that they are looking to remarry and soon. So, they expect commitment right away. What's interesting is that I've fallen into this relationship multiple times and each time fulfilled the "new dad" role quite well. Spinning plates takes more effort than a working LTR in my opinion. Glad I'm not the only one. Assuming one qualifies properly, maintaining the frame of the relationship and making sure you have other things going on in your life that are of higher priority, maintaining an LTR is cake. Pimp mode can help develop your swagger, but if you go overboard like some guys do, the game can completely take over your life. But this author seems to think that our feminist culture also trains women to try to imitate men. That's exactly it. I became single again about 3 months ago, and I couldn't put my finger on what I didn't like about dating. Then I started to read some of the articles posted here and piece together the bigger picture through that and my own personal experiences. I constantly meet women who are crude, brag about how much they can drink, pride themselves on how callous they can be, and sometimes dr…

I see a manly forearm, and I imagine my man either chopping wood, or some other manly exercise I was chopping these huge stumps of wood for my last g/fs dad. You dodged a bullet. That being said, online dating is a joke. I recently recreated my PoF profile just to message a couple new very hot girls that were on there. Seeing if there's any bites. Unfortunately, the only bites were from fat women. One of them is a fat woman who hit me up the last time I had a profile on there. What someone aspiring to actualize the principals discussed in this sub must also realize, is that once you internalize a lot of this stuff, weaker willed guys will turn on you as well. As long as theyre still in contact with you and having good times with you then its not over in their head. Agree to disagree but I think my point still stands. I simply don't think women are wired the way we are when it comes to breakups. They will go through the motions for as long as they feel they "need" too. I think pulling the trigger does hurt them, but not on the same level that being let go of does for the guy (often by surprise in his perspective)

Two points: 1:) The reason that getting on your knees or going into "salvaging mode" almost never works, is that if a woman breaks up with you she mentally pulled the trigger a long time ago and was just "waiting for the right time". If you've ever wondered why women can seem so emotionally neutral when ending a relationship, this is usually why. They went through the initial breakup stages already in their head. You can't do any damage control, because the ship is already completely submerged a…

Whats funny is that I've taken home several strippers as a "customer" and did indeed buy a lapdance. Now I will add a huge addendum in that I did something similar to this approach, and usually vetted them through a long and arduous process. I think a balance of both things (doing your own thing, and enjoying women) is ideal, with the scale tilted towards your own projects, endeavors, hobbies, career etc My life experience has taught me a very important lesson. Even if a woman implies or directly states that she wants to be the most important thing in your life, if you let her become that number one thing, she will ultimately resent you for it. When I was a lot younger and before I knew anything about dealing with women properly, I personally noticed what seemed like an increase in interest from women if I interacted with them when I was exhausted. However, if you decide you want another wife in a couple of years, then the time you spend whoring around in the meantime is not going to be conducive to that goal at all. I'm opting to take care of some things for myself and live a bit more selfishly for the time being. When you have structural engineers telling people the reasons the buildings fell and these conspiracy theorists basically dismissing it because it doesn't fall in line with the conclusion that they've already jumped too (but will only allude too "I'm just asking questions") it ruins credibility. The old openers like "I need your opinion on XYZ" and "What do you think about ABC" are done and it's too easy to get blown out by some guy/girl who says, "WAIT ISN'T THAT A PICKUP ARTIST THING??" I run a two hour kickboxing/MMA class of which I just started being totally responsible for (was only a fill in until recently, now I'm the full time instructor for that day) I did six years of radio and some theater so I know how to make my voice "boom" when necessary. Sometimes idle chit chat starts up and the lesson plan gets distracted. I immediately will go into voice of God mode to get plan back on track. What's interesting, is that I get a lot of "Yes sir" and "OUS!" when giving direction…

Interesting that this topic came up, as I'm just now re-reading Mark Manson's Models and just read the race discussion last night. He makes a great point in that race can be a polarizing factor but not necessarily in a bad way. For instance there are women who will just absolutely not sleep with a black guy, where as another women will be more drawn to a guy because he's black. Also being of a non-white ethnicity can play in a man's favor if he works against the stereotype. For example, the ster…

Thanks for these. I like the soft harem post and I especially identify with the 3-4 month time frame in which every woman seems to almost demand exclusivity. I remember reading blog posts from a respected guy in the community who claimed he could often string it out for another 3-6 months before they'd finally bounce out. I've never had success in such matters. Usually for me, it's too much hassle to deal with them when they want to tie me down and I'm not feeling it.

2-3 approaches a month isn't enough. Especially if you're not comfortable around women. You have to consider that a good rule of thumb is that for every 10 women you approach, 3 of them will end up being girls you're really interested in that are open to meeting you. That means 70% of the girls you approach aren't going to work out. You need more practice

You say "Ok" smile and continue to physically escalate. Obviously if she tells you to stop or is outright telling you no, then stop. But if she goes with it then continue this as necessary. Two steps forward, one step back. I try being funny and I'll say something like "Wow, I didn't even mention sex!" or something along those lines. No. This is not the time for knock knock jokes. Killing the tension kills your chances with women.

My area for OKC is inundated with 5's and 6's who don't give two shits how they dress/look in their profile and are either trying to portray themselves as either A:) Quirky and 'omg so randumb!' Is the only reason women say they want 'nice guys' that if they openly admit 'i want sex with dangerous, unpredictable, emotionally unavailable, macho alpha men' then they are called sluts? This logic applies to when women say they want a guy "with a good sense of humor". It's a very PC answer to the question of what they look for in a man.

My biggest gripe with the anti-friend zone guy circle jerk on the internet lately, is that it is always framed in the context of the guy trying to just simply get his dick wet. This couldn't be further than the truth in most cases. A lot of these guys would be completely content with a girl who's a 6 in the looks department and was just his sweet loving girlfriend. But that makes it harder to demonize men so that point is rarely discussed.

I like how Art Alexakis pointed out the fact that when women come to you with a problem, they don't want you to actually fix it. They just want you to go "Yea that sucks." and move on with your life. I dunno about you guys, but I felt like this actually made relationships easier when I realized this. You aren't expected to come up with an actual solution to her melodramatic escapades. Just listening to her vent about them from time to time makes you the hero. Its ten times easier.

"Lack of my presence and attention is the punishment" Basically I just won't make time for her. This is an advantage to having a busy life filled with lots of fulfilling and productive things. It's easy to just kind of push dating to the side when women start acting ridiculous. You're not pondering whether or not you should kinda skate away from her. You just do it, because you have other shit going on.

Sex and forget is something so much harder for women who have been married with kids. I've been with multiple women with kids and for the most part have found the exact opposite. Women with kids are typically more hesitant to want a serious man in their lives, because it's more than just their own feelings at stake should the relationship take a turn for the serious. Therefore they are quite ok with the casual bang because they still have sex drives. That being said, there are the crazier ones w…

For a long time I have looked at online dating as kind of a supplemental source of finding women. One that should really only be considered maybe about 10% of your pipeline. The smiling thing is really big. Guys usually smile too damn much to try and break the tension or in an attempt to disarm a woman. A smile is fine at the start, but as you're talking to her, keep more of a normal face. Make her work a little bit to make you smile. It makes a tremendous difference. Still don't believe it? How often do you see natural bad-boy or James Bond type guys smile? Not a lot, and they sure as shit don't go around grinning like an idiot.

Usually it's a good open sign. If you want to be double sure, return EC and smile and just say a simple "whats up?" If she seems warm, then start a conversation. Ask directions to somewhere even if you know where it is.

Seduction encourages the guy to move on and never look back but what if you guys had a good dynamic? Sure there a lot of people out there to hang out with, but it takes a lot of effort and some luck to build a bond with someone so it's a shame to throw it all away. The cold truth is that most guys have enough friends. They aren't looking for more friends, they are looking for lovers/girlfriends. If a guy expresses his interest early on and you reject him, both of you can move on. Right. Which mo…

It's reprogramming. When a guy doesn't have a good example as to how to be successful with women, all the bad advice filters through and one takes their cues from all sorts of shitty places. (Don't even get me started on romantic comedies)

I'm glad you asked. The purpose of forums like this for guys who come to them, is to break away from what they are currently doing that obviously isn't working. The standard dating model that is preached to guys who don't know any better is that you must court women and buy them dinner, movies, flowers, drinks, etc. It's the idea that subconsciously implements the thought process in a man's brain that he isn't interesting enough by himself, therefore he must spend money on a woman in the hopes t…

You can get away with shit loads of things that are usually considered errors by having general tight game. Hence why I said: I highly discourage this to guys who are not that experienced. Newer guys generally don't have tight game. I have no overtly negative stance on buying a woman a drink. I do however, advise guys who don't have much experience to avoid doing it because it acts as a crutch and they will buy a girl a drink in the old fashioned AFC sense.

I feel the same way. But here's a realization that has to sink in... If you are the same age as someone you're bantering with and you feel as if you are being judged there is a strong possibility that they feel the exact same way A PUA pointed out to me that we live in a world filled with people wondering what other people think of them, when all the other people are actually thinking of is what that person thinks of them! It's madness.

Become good at banter. It's repeated endlessly around here, but chat up everyone applicable. The lady putting your groceries through the scanner, chat up the mailman if you see him, when being served at a restruant, ask your server how their day is going, and then listen to what they say. Short chit chat is easy and can be quickly be expanded into longer conversations with practice. Talking to random people will become no big deal and you can move from there.

You can usually be more direct with older women. They aren't as much into the chase, although you need to watch out for the 'Sex in the City' syndrome of a woman well past her prime acting like she's the hottest 22 year old on the block. Yes I agree the circumstances must be right. My personal experience and opinion is that the time is right more often than its not. IMO, these are the times a woman won't cheat. 1:) The Honeymoon Phase. She's with a new guy who is just the best guy ever. This is usually the first 3-7 months of a relationship. 2:) The Renewal of Vows Phase. There has been some emotional turmoil. Her and possibly the guy she's been with have strayed but now for whatever reason, they've reaffirmed their devotion to …

This...is pretty much where I'm at. I love his comparison to the Matrix pills. In my quest to become better with women, I have begun to think so much "less" of them than before I started. I have yet to honestly cope with their differences and just accept them as the beings they are. Although it has drastically changed my perspective on what I want for a wife. No. You're not gonna snag a girl away if she's been married for 10 years. It could be 100 years. In a moment of emotional discontent and attraction for another dude, she could fall to the wayside and cheat. She'll just do it because she feels like it. Then she'll rationalize it later. I'm not saying she'll leave her husband but taking her away for a night is not as impossible as you make it sound.

I'll admit that part's probably wrong. It isn't City girls are different than country girls. I will tell you why. Remember the part he mentioned about women very much caring what other women think? The reason that country girls seem to be more "loyal" than city girls comes down to one thing. Anonymity It's a numbers game. IMO you can have options and still be in a good monogamous relationship. Because that's all they are. Options. Having the inner confidence to know that you can go meet someone new automatically removes a lot of the insecurities in guys that end up sabotaging relationships. You have the "option" of going and meeting someone new. But you don't because you choose to be with the woman you're with. This is a very liberating and powerful mentality.

But just because something takes effort doesn't mean it's a lie about who you are. It's actually quite dangerous to justify laziness as "being natural" and "being yourself". No, you just suck and don't want to make the effort to improve. And no, girls won't like you sexually or emotionally, if you're just an asexual but otherwise really interesting guy. Be 'Active': Gesture when talking Careful. Some people reading this are those who probably already talk with their hands too much. Turning the volume up on this could make them look like a maniac. Good rule of thumb I find is that if you are gesturing while talking or telling a story, try to keep your hands no higher than your neckline and avoid large sudden movements with people you don't know yet. The biggest thing to getting around natural introversion, is to get the fuck out of your own head. This becomes a quandary, because then people go "Well how do I get out of my own head?
