When to fart in new relationshipMy sister’s ex husband (while they were married) NEVER farted in her presence. It was what he was taught by his father on how to be respectful of women. He was ultimately an asshole to her but he’s doing a very good job of raising their two boys when he has them. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/10/25 03:49 PM
I hate this shit.Vacation partner is easy. Bitches love the beach and some random one would love to go. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/09/25 12:10 PM
I hate this shit.I feel like it’s all perspective. I’m sitting here on my couch on a Saturday morning, quietly. I slept in until 8:45am. I just got back from getting a coffee at Dunkin and I’m about to get ready for the day, do some yard work and then sit down for some college football. The latter is something I couldn’t do for years (activities to go to, house chores, other people watching the TV). Nothing is required of me until my son’s football game tomorrow. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/08/25 01:45 PM
Those of you who had wives who “changed” after marriage or children.I didn’t think of that, but definitely a possibility. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/04/25 11:07 PM
Those of you who had wives who “changed” after marriage or children.Mine did that as well. Shes not the same person and I told her that. She had some other changes as well. We used to do beer festivals together. She lost her taste for anything that’s slightly more eclectic. I can deal with that, but not the personality changes. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/04/25 04:17 AM
Marriage is LonelyIncredibly lonely. Told her how I felt about a month ago. No sex in over a year and she thought things were good. She wants to work on it. I doubt I can get there. She’s been better at home, but not to the point I want to continue. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/04/25 09:15 PM
Child supportIt’s not taxable income. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/04/25 10:13 AM
How do I tell my wife I'm done?I did this today. Told her how I felt. We had a moment where we were alone and she asked what was wrong as she sensed a difference in me. She doesn’t want to accept it. She even said she thought things were going well. I’ve been struggling with this decision for a month now to the tune of a 10lb weight loss. She wants to work on it for the family (we have a child together). I’ve been doing that for well over a year now. Otherwise, just sit down and do it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/04/25 09:28 PM
50/50 custody and summer breakThat makes sense. This will be the big sticking point. I’m sure I can swing both the house and the apartment if I had to. This is going to drag out for a bit. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/25 11:24 PM
Separation? What could that look like?Definitely an option I’m considering. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/25 10:46 PM
Separation? What could that look like?I understand that, but I’m not paying her. She doesn’t know my wife. We used to work together and have stayed in touch on social media. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/25 10:45 PM
An Update on my DivorceThis is how I hope mine goes, but I’m not optimistic. She harbors a lot of resentment from me for various reasons, many of which center around my indifference to certain things. We have a much younger child that will play into it as well. I want things to be as amicable as possible, but she has always doubted my ability to parent independently. My communication skills are poor at best, so I’m writing a letter. I have support available to me in whichever path I choose. I just know that path is go… | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/25 10:43 PM
Separation? What could that look like?She’s a friend who’s a mental health counselor. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/25 12:15 AM
