I met a girl last October. There was mutual interest. I didn't see her again until this week when we were at the same party. We basically spent the majority of the night together talking, dancing, kissing, and holding hands. We're going out tomorrow. Are there any no-nos when it comes to greeting her? Would a kiss be too presumptuous?

Wanting to be just friends isn't necessarily bullshit, as you put it. She might be lying, but that's not important. The point is that she doesn't want to be with you right now and you have to accept it and move on. If you were being honest with your reply to her text, then yes, it was the right way to handle it. It shows you're mature enough to handle rejection.

What do you mean? We already went most of the way. IMO there would have been nothing left to experience except sex, which I probably wouldn't have been able to enjoy due to the seed of doubt in my mind.

You're right, she was putting the moves on me, but at the time I suspected it might have been the alcohol. Sometimes people make really dumb mistakes when drunk, and I didn't want to be that mistake.

I was more attracted to her personally than sexually, but attracted nonetheless. Couple of reasons why I didn't want to have sex with her: It could be that my tolerance to alcohol has risen, or I simply didn't drink that much, but I felt quite sober. She even said that I didn't look drunk at all. Having sex with a drunk girl when you are seemingly sober just seems dodgy. I don't mean to moralise, it's simply how I personally feel. General, personal rule of thumb when it comes to sex: "When in do…

I'll hug girls that I know really well. If the girl is from a Western/Southern European country, I'll kiss her on the cheek/both cheeks the appropriate number of times (depends on the culture). Otherwise it's a handshake.

Yeah, I don't go out of my way to tell people about it. The negative perception of seduction by the general public is what prompted me to ask how you guys deal with it. Thanks for your reply!

She isn't a girl I'm trying to seduce, as we live in different countries. I was telling her about some of my fiction writing that features some material from the seduction community, and it got me thinking if seduction & self-improvement is something that people specifically avoid revealing about themselves. Thanks for the answer!

Do your friends know that you read about seduction? I'm catching up with a female friend over FB, and she asked what my plans are for the near future. I feel like I should (and I will) tell her that I practice and read about seduction & general self-improvement, because that's the truth and I'm confident about it. However, it does feel a bit weird.

Yep, thank you. Meant to write 'brother'.

Girls with boyfriends - If they are willing to cheat, it isn't about you it's about them. I don't have an issue with it if she doesn't. Don't hijack sets. Bro's are bro's. This goes for guys you've never met too - if someone is working game, let them. There are so many girls out there. Aren't these conflicting? You're willing to seduce someone's girlfriend, but your bro's set is a no-no? This goes for guys you've never met too Isn't the girl's unknown boyfriend your bro?

Last Minute Resistance. This is when the girl puts up some sort of defense before sex, usually when you’re both naked or nearly naked. The girl might actually be uncomfortable or not want to have sex for whatever reason, or she might be giving token resistance. It’s your job to make a value judgment and decide how you should handle it, based on what she says, or her body language, or the general vibe, or whatever signs you can interpret. From the glossary in the sidebar.

I abort the mission and move on to the next girl. A confident, attractive guy knows that they can easily approach another girl, so why go for someone who is in a relationship?

Amy: wait aren't you supposed to buy me drinks. I probably would have bounced at this point. Good job on turning it around. How did you deal with LMR?

It's a brilliant way to get started on kino, especially if you sneak in a little hand-on-hip action. It can become a little awkward when you do it with someone from a different culture and you're not sure how many times to kiss. I had that happen to me recently and I think it actually helped spark a little attraction as it was just a minor but funny mistake.

We go to different universities in the same large, metropolitan city. She and our mutual friend go to the same one. My only options are to set something up through that mutual friend or contacting her directly through Facebook, as I don't have her number. I'm not going to go to their campus on a wild goose chase. I know it may seem like I have oneitis, but I figured I might as well go for this girl since she seems to be my type.

I met a girl through a mutual friend last October. I didn't ask her out because a girl I had previously been involved with entered my life and things became a little complicated. Anyway, according to two mutual friends/acquaintances, we have similar personalities, and she thought I was nice. I certainly took a liking to her and remember that we have some mutual interests. QUESTION: When I eventually get back to university, should I initiate contact with her through Facebook, or should I get in t…

During the first approach, the club was so full that it was difficult to move. I didn't want to scramble my way through to the sofa and thus make my approach obvious. Does it matter if a girl sees from a mile away that you're about to approach? Once there was an opening, I put my phone back in my pocket and made my move.

Admittedly, I had a bit of a problem with fapping so I took a break for about two months. Confidence was sky high for most of that period.

Where are you approaching girls the most? It's more likely you would find someone more compatible at a wine tasting than at some generic nightclub. The wine tasting is just an example, but the venue is often a good indication of what kind of people you'll meet.

Being overweight is probably seen as a sign of lack of investment in oneself. You said you're trying to lose weight, so that's good. Other than that, I would say stop asking if the girl/woman is single. They will tell you whether or not they are interested.

Oh, I'm not against sex without a relationship at all. In fact, in my group of friends, I've become known for chatting up older women (with minimal success), and having the occasional ONS. For me, the idea of being able to satisfy an experienced woman who knows what she wants was very attractive. Then I joined /r/seduction and started reading Mark Manson's Models (almost finished!) and became curious. Was I going for MILFs to prove my worth (<-- needy, lack of confidence IMO)? I've never been to…

Serious question from a newbie: why would one put so much effort into picking up models, if not for a sense of validation? The same motivation seems to lie behind picking older women as well. The reason I ask is that my personal goal is to seek out those women who are compatible with me and hopefully get into a relationship. Picking up a model or a milf would bring me nothing but bragging rights.

Torilla tavataan! By the way, I've never heard of a Finnish girl called Marri. It's more likely to be Mari. Either way, good job!

That's an awesome first gig! London, UK here so I shouldn't have problems finding opportunities either. I finished my first year at university a few months ago. Even though I got good marks, I feel like there is SO MUCH more that I could, and should, be doing. I'm worried that if I don't put in 100% (essentially letting studying/work consume my whole life), I won't make it. There's always someone out there working harder and better.

Wicked, mate. This isn't really relevant to seduction I suppose, but may I ask how you got into the gaming industry? I'm studying to become a game designer.

Kudos for not being a cunt. I was once the "other guy" and trust me, it is most definitely not worth it.

Maybe it's just me, but trying to seduce a girl with the mental/emotional problems you described just seems dodgy.

Yeah, really I just wanted to post this for the first two approaches. The third girl picking me up was just the icing on the cake.

I understand and completely agree with all the points about becoming a better, more confident version of yourself. Sometimes though, reading field reports of guys k-closing several girls in one night, maybe even in the same club, makes me question the motives and methods. EDIT: Admittedly, I've been watching a lot of HIMYM lately, so Barney Stinson's image is burned into my memory.
