A lot of the girls I meet don't seem to be great at holding intellectual conversations.

Now, don't take this as me saying "Women are stupid" cause that's not what I mean. What I mean is that girls often brush off any probing questions that would require some level of intelligence to respond. For example;

ME: What do you like yo do? HER: New things with friends ME: Oh like learn new things visit new places experience new things HER: I guess so, usually do what my friends do.

Now if I was asked what new things id like to do I would have huge list of things I am interested in. As soon as I receive vague/dim answers from girls its an instant turn off.

Should I approach the situation by not asking anything that requires introspective thinking and reasoning and focus more on trying to be funny?

The demographic I am approaching are 18 - 25 yr old Girls in the UK.
