I am going to offer some anecdote here that goes against some of your thinking. I can't speak for height because I'm not short, I'm average height, but the stuff about all women only liking muscular men who are loud and arrogant are literally just false. I'm neither of those things, I'm very skinny and have a quiet personality, and the women I've slept with have literally told me they like that; and have said muscular guys are "gross". And I don't think they were just saying that because those p…

How? He said work on yourself and don't focus on women. He didn't say don't forget about your game. And if you're an introvert just focusing on your hobbies and self development means you're not gonna get laid much. Because introverts naturally aren't going to socialize while working on themselves and pursuing their hobbies. I don't disagree with the OP's suggestions per se; it's all great advice for having good mental and physical health. But honestly I've just found in my own anecdotal experie…

At this point, it's chronic illness. Before I was chronically ill, it was partially being super socially awkward and introverted, partially not taking enough initiative. The introverted part would still be an issue if I wasn't ill anymore. I am literally just kind of selfish and I simply don't enjoy meeting new people that much, trying to understand them, or investing effort in them.

Hmm I don't know then. Since you said that method is not working because they just wait and then still only want to hook up... aside from sex what else do you do when you go on dates with them that puts them off having a relationship with you? Clearly it's not the sex, so there must be something else they see as a deal breaker for a relationship. A few ideas I have are: 1. Maybe you give guys the impression that you'll be too emotionally needy without being there for them in the same capacity. C…

I don't think I'm either of those things. I guess I'll write you a more detailed response since you took the time to write one to me. I just disagree with you almost completely. So it's not that I've never noticed how many dichotomies / axes of existence there are. And surely the sexual dichotomy of many organisms is one of them. I disagree with some of your other ones (like I don't think the political left/right is a dichotomy, that's an oversimplification and there are actually multiple axes i…

Thank you, someone who agrees with me. If a behavior is commonly found in both sexes, how can it be ascribed to "masculine" or "feminine"? It's amazing how much I disagree with this OP lol.

What makes experiencing things feminine vs getting results being masculine then? If there's so much overlap then isn't it arbitrary to call one of those things masculine and the other feminine?

Yeah but surely going up to women and saying random things would get you a better ratio than something around "1 in 1000", no? It sounds like in his case, trying to "game" using a method is actually making him worse than if he were to just do anything that came to mind. Unless he's just that unattractive (something like a 2/10) but I find that unlikely

At night, I 100% prefer indirect (although, if I was handsome, i'd obviously just go direct knowing she's attracted and i'll be able to get her in bed. They care about looks a lot. The last girl I was with openly admitted that she is "shallow and wants a good looking guy". I think a lot of women are like this and they just don't admit it. The good thing is that beyond severe deformities or conditions, looks are pretty subjective. For example the other day I was talking to another female friend who told me she was out with her friends at a bar and they kept pointing out guys they were attracted to (based on looks)... and she said she only agreed…

Yep, the more I see of life the more I believe this to be the case. I've talked to women who say they know if they'd have sex with a guy within the first minute of meeting him, just like men. This girl started talking to the OP first. He said he's a 6/10 but people fail to understand that women and men have their types, and if you're their type it doesn't really matter where you are on a more generalized 10-scale.

The tldw is that L/M/S does matter, particularly status, but that everyone in the world is already competing in those things and it's difficult to drastically change yourself in those areas. So he suggests that it's simply a more efficient use of your time to focus on improving your game than your L/M/S, because you will see bigger improvements in your results for the same amount of effort.

Well, thats why a lot of the more modern and enlightened dating coach strategies can be summarized as "Be the best version of yourself you can be, and then go put yourself out there in front of a lot of women", instead of trying to predict what they like or don't like and trying to act a certain way. I agree though most of the posts on this subreddit are ridiculous.

I've known about that study for years, but what I'm saying in technical terms is that it really depends on the standard deviation of that function. In the okcupid study, the SD is quite high, as we can see just from how the graph looks visually. In your math you used a relatively much lower SD since you're putting only 2.3% of women at 7+. Just looking at that OKC graph visually, it looks like the actual SD from men's ratings puts at least 15% of women at 7+. I miscommunicated in my previous com…

If we're going by that gaussian distribution scale, which isn't even how people usually rate when they're pointing girls out in real life, then being with a 6/10 or maybe even a 5/10 is fine. But yeah even 6/10 on that scale is less common than 1 in 10. Sad world.
/r/seduction22/09/19 05:52 AM

It's not proportionate really, what is true is that if you care too much about her rejecting you, she will lose interest, but the inverse does not apply at all. Just not caring won't generate attraction. So "abundance mindset" is only useful if you already have women attracted to you.
/r/seduction22/09/19 05:43 AM
1

You'll probably never get people on here to agree with this because they are mostly in denial. I think you're seeing it a little too black and white though, there are lots of different human phenotypes and women and men both can have wildly different preferences for different phenotypes, or fetishize certain phenotypes which causes them to lower their beauty standards if someone matches their preferred one. Different people do find different things attractive.
/r/seduction22/09/19 05:33 AM

I can tell you for certain in NYC it's still not even 1/10 people you see regularly. It's probably closer to like 1 in 20 to 30. 1/10 is an extremely optimistic estimate for anywhere, it might be close to 1/10 if you're talking about just the women while walking in manhattan, if you're talking about men and women it's at least 1 in 20.

Your 1/10 situation sounds a little far fetched, but totally agree about the 9/10 analysis though. If women at work didn't find him attractive before his promotion(s), then it's certainly about them deriving favor by flirting with a man in a higher position

Clearly we have some cultural differences, I suppose fairly religious / traditional guys could be an exception. And no the sex isn't more important than liking her as a person, but to me it's still of critical importance. And yeah, even if I like her personality but she insists on an official relationship before we sleep together, then I'm out. I don't know if that makes someone a good man or not a good man, but it's the only thing that I feel comfortable with.

Didn't like Models at all, because it's based on some hand wave-y evopsych which is stupid in my opinion. Also don't like Mystery Method for the same reason even though the strategy is totally different. A more logical and actionable book which still advocates being direct but leaves the pseudoscience out is Mode One.

I don't think that's a great strategy unless you want a guy who is very desperate. As a guy, I wouldn't agree to be her boyfriend before we slept together, and I think a lot of other guys would agree with me. Regular sex of a better quality and frequency than he could get from hookups is one of the primary selling points for a guy to be in a relationship. So if he doesn't even know whether the sex will be good or not, it's gonna be a lot harder to sell the idea of a relationship. I think the big…

I think a lot of people on here have had to adopt an attitude that APPEARS like that on the outside, because they've struggled with self esteem a lot in their life. I think a lot of guys have in general, and I think you're exaggerating what this guy is saying. Most guys I've met have already been conditioned to see a girl and think "She wouldn't be interested in talking to me" by default, which isn't even based in reality, it's just a self esteem problem. Many guys have to repeatedly tell oursel…

Agreed with everything except warming up. I don't think warming up is good for true introverts because the process of even warming up saps some social energy that will be necessary for the approaches to go well. Also it assumes we are out for "daygame sessions" rather than trying to make approaching a habit that you just do when the opportunity arises, and I think it conditions the brain for that which is less optimal than being opportunistic.

(Disclaimer: I do not have good game myself) I read the book and I'm not convinced that it ever worked as described. A large amount of the book is focused on explaining the attraction phase, which Mystery defines as is the first phase of the seduction process that usually lasts for 30 minutes or less when you first meet a woman. He breaks that phase down into 3 steps, of which the second step (A2) is the one where you demonstrate value, disqualify yourself as a potential suitor, and thus get the…

Remember there's a noob boost. You are probably not going to continue getting 8 matches/day after a few weeks go by unless you re-make your profile. Which is totally doable, but just saying. I just did something similar this weekend to test out tinder again but I got unmatched by most of my matches after I started talking to them. Woo.
/r/seduction08/09/19 11:16 PM

Hmm I think I prefer day because I don't really enjoy the atmosphere of bars and clubs unless there's some music I'm really into there, and I'm generally a quiet person. Also it's easier to see if a girl is hot and in shape in the daytime. More approach anxiety during the day though. At a bar/club I'll do any approach, I don't care, it's basically like tinder. So I also feel like when I have a good interactions during the day it feels more like an accomplishment.

When you've focused on improving yourself and having an interesting life just for yourself for years and didn't get shit, and that's what turned you to seduction/game, and then you read something like this... it's pretty ironic. I know this is just a purely negative comment, but I honestly don't think this works. Maybe it works for natural extraverts, not for introverts.

Hmm I'm not sure if you understand what I mean; I'm not suggesting going up to a girl and saying "Hi you're beautiful". Mode One means being direct, non-manipulative, and open about what's on your mind and what your intentions are. That doesn't necessarily mean walking up to random women you don't even know and saying "Hi I want to fuck you", that's just socially unaware / uncalibrated and that's how you're taking it out of context. Yes, there was a story in the book where he successfully told a woman he wanted to fuck her like that, but it wasn't a random stranger on the street, it was a situation where there wa…

Don't be manipulative, asking for directions when you actually wanted to talk to her about something else is manipulative and as soon as you start asking her other questions it become very transparent what you are doing. If you don't want to open with a compliment, it's fine, do a situational comment or just ask how her day is going or some shit. You will still get instant/quick rejections some of the time no matter what you do, but that should help a little.

I get what you're saying here but it takes my brain a minute or two to realize "Wait that was an IOI / approach signal" and then the girl isn't around anymore. If I could cut that down to realizing in a few seconds every time I see it, then this would work quite well.

Do you mean indoor cycling? Because outdoor cycling has like a 3:1 ratio of men to women, at least in the US... maybe in Europe it's different. I'm into bikes and all the social rides / events / meetups I've been to have far more men than women.

What's your secret? I've done it a lot and the success rate is very low. According to other online sources most "expert" PUAs even have low success rates, I've seen it quoted that 1 in 40 converts to a lay for experts (at least from daytime approach). Club / bar approaches are definitely a higher rate but still nowhere close to 100%.

Google body language, find a source that explains what certain poses, postures, and hand/leg positions mean, and memorize them. Then do a mental lookup when you're with someone in real life to see if you can match their pose to any of the stuff you memorized.

Yeah but it was still a stroke of pure luck that he found a girl who was into him with no work required on his part the very first time he approached and she also happened to be a 10/10 for him. It's hard to really get anything out of these stories when you've personally had many similar failed attempts that prove this sort of occurrence is pure luck.

I totally agree with you even in a city like NYC (where I live). I definitely worry about accidentally approaching the same women who rejected me again when they're wearing something different and I didn't realize it was the same one. He still has a valid point. To continue your analogy, even as a qualified person you could apply to a large number of jobs and not get hired for any of them. Just because you're qualified and applying to jobs doesn't mean you'll get the job you want, or even get a job at all after only a few applications. If you do get the one you want after the very first application, that's definitely beating the odds. But that being said, most people wouldn't go "I might apply for 100 jobs and not get hired b…

Yeah the reality of this situation is that an approach that goes down exactly like that has probably a 1 in 100 or 1 in 200 chance of "working". I would even argue that even if he is model tier looks (9/10 or something) the odds will be better but still poor, maybe like 1 in 10 in that case. I wonder how many women these other people have approached... if they had approached a lot, they would know the real statistics (for their looks/status segment at least).

It's really not that hard to go approach a woman like this. I really suspect the majority of people COULD do it and the thing holding them back is that they don't believe it will work. And a large percentage of the time, it doesn't, so in a way they're right.

Really? Are there really "beginners" who are good enough to pull the girl back to their place but then don't know how to do the physical escalation to sex once she's there? To me that's weird, because I feel like that's the easiest part, but maybe it's only because I learned to do that part before I learned the pickup/approaching part. I can see your point though if that is a common sticking point.

Take up bouldering / rock climbing, finger strength is the number one muscle group needed for that. If you don't want to do that, just get a hangboard and do hang or do pull ups on that. Don't lift something with one finger at a time, that's a good way to injure yourself. Also through youtube I found the company grip genie that also makes finger strength training equipment.

Are you talking about just for cold approach or for other situations as well? (social circle for example) If it's social circle do you ask overtly or just ask to stay in touch with them and then ask them out over the phone/text to not make them self-conscious in front of your mutual friends?

This post is pretty good, but I would not follow #10. A lot of good PUAs recommend the opposite of that (for example todd v and mystery), they recommend that you should let the girl get comfortable in your place for a little while (20-30 minutes? Or however long it takes) before escalating again. Making out as soon as you get inside is for like the 3rd date after you've already fucked and are comfortable around each other.

Yes. I don't think this is helpful advice, just summarizing for poor kalz44 who didn't want to read it. Most of the advice on here is essentially framed as "replicate the mental state of a person who is already successful with women, and you will be successful with women" which is bad advice for exactly the reason you said, it means you are not being genuine at all. But also because the mental state of a successful person isn't necessarily causation for that person's success, it's quite possibly…
/r/seduction22/08/19 06:14 PM
1

I think the problem is that people falsely attribute the side effects and mental states that come with success as the causation of their success, and think that if you can just replicate the mindset of people who are successful then you will also be successful. I think it's less of a knowledge gap and more of an experience gap... everyone can understand but you can't really implement unless you're already successful. But if you are already successful then you will probably naturally implement it…

Watch this for answers:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbfmgmhtQ4w tl:dw: have a gameplan that you stick to, be consistent with practice, and set incremental goals for yourself to improve on. Be your own coach or get a coach to help you, then record field reports that you reflect on to find out what your sticking points are and center your short term goals around improving those areas.

Okay let me rephrase that, not chasing and not trying to influence the outcome doesn't guarantee either of you will enjoy the time you spend. But I suppose doing the opposite makes it more likely one of you won't enjoy it, so sure. But to some extent I just agree with the commenter... chasing basically just means wanting and trying to spend time with the girl, and there's always some degree of that inherent in simply approaching. And it's not wrong to want that either.

What dynamic does he break down? I didn't feel like he broke down the dynamic at all, more like he just said "Be vulnerable and women will like you" which is not true most of the time. Great job doing it. I would say... wait several days, then ask her in a playful way that makes it uncertain to her whether she can actually join you or not, and make it sound like you are already going out but might be able to make some time for her. It feels like you are already chasing and kinda being the niceguy right now, so it's looking like she will flake if you just straight up ask her, especially if it's soon. So anything you can do to flip that around would be good, but it might be too …

Partially the writing style sucks, but mainly I think it doesn't really present a clear enough system you can follow. To me it reads like "Just be vulnerable and direct bro, it's a numbers game" rather than actually being about how to seduce.

I suspect there are two common causes: One, by accident, the guy attracted the girl completely by accident by showing value and social proof because circumstances lined up by chance to allow this to happen. It still follows the same structure as an intentional seduction, it just happens completely by accident. This probably happens often enough that people get into relationships with this method from time to time. Then they tend to stay there because they think this is something unique between t…

This is old news, it's been like that for years. It's pretty obvious if you've ever made a fake female profile, even average women get about 10 times as many matches as a good looking guy. An attractive woman will get hundreds of likes in a day. She probably had 10 other guys ask her out on Tinder in the same week so you have to get lucky.

Same thing for me. I've often wondered if my friends and past dates/fwb have been lying or exaggerating to me when they said I'm good looking because I don't get many tinder matches either. And I myself just feel like I'm average. One thing I've noticed that's definite is that preselection / social proof matters a lot for women, seemingly more than how you look. Yes, I have the same experience. It's been that way for almost 2 years now in NYC. Every match has a much lower SMV than me on paper, most of them are really bottom of the barrel like you said. I'm 5'11", fit, active, healthy, and at least average looking facially, but my matches are mostly very out of shape and obviously sedentary. Once in a while I'll get a match that's equivalent but it's very infrequent. And matches only come with new profile boost, resetting every few weeks is required for …

How smart are you talking? If it's actually like genius-level IQ, then actually explaining your intelligence is going to be lost on most people because they won't get it. You will only be able to use that as a "DHV" if you accomplish things with it, like having an idea that a company is started from etc. A better plan is to use your intelligence not as the selling point itself, but to create your game strategy. Good, don't text her too soon. I have dealt with the same issue myself in the past, it used to be a big problem for me too, but I think I've mostly corrected it. Me? It depends, I can tolerate some. It's good to listen to how someone feels about depressing stuff SOMETIMES. If they're sharing their feelings it will build trust and make them feel safe if you can empathize / sympathize with them. If it gets to be too much and drains me though, then I'll just say "Let's talk about something else". If she keeps bringing it up I would recommend her to go to a therapist. Pretty simple...

Excellent. I get it, texting is inherently a little boring and popping a date question early on is good. I'd just be sure to say at least one thing that teases her / challenges her before you ask her out. More excitement for her that way, it puts more suspense on her end about whether or not you actually like her. Did you get this girl's number yet? If she gives you her number there's still time to tease her before you actually set up the date :)

Relax, is it really that big of a deal? This exact thing hasn't happened to me but I've approached girls who were obviously attracted to me but had boyfriends. It happens, just get used to it and be polite to them.

What if all the girls you like are at tables or standing around instead of at the bar? And personally I've noticed what someone else has left as tips maybe 1 out of every 20 or 30 times I've gone out. Not something I would expect anyone to pay attention to...
/r/seduction13/07/19 04:21 PM

So you're trying to get ahead with the bartenders? I don't get how that is supposed to help you out. And where I live the bars are too crowded for anyone to notice how you tipped.

It's not the same, because cold approaching is much better! I agree with what you say about it. It's actually kind of sad that cold approaching doesn't cross the minds of so many guys. If this was 20 or 30 years ago and tinder wasn't even an option, it would come more naturally.

Maybe not on the street, but at bars/clubs they certainly do.
/r/seduction26/06/19 10:35 PM

Because it happens to them more frequently so they've gotten more comfortable with the situation and know how to handle it, isn't that obvious?

That doesn't mean he wouldn't have anxiety about it
/r/seduction17/06/19 02:11 AM

Can you give me some examples when, where. how it has worked for you? I honestly want to hear some details about those experiences, and would like to see if you can show that the things you did after following the book's strategy are what got you the results. Because I have heard lots of people praise the book, haven't seen anyone provide details about how applying the strategy outlined in the book actually got them results that they weren't getting before.
/r/seduction17/06/19 01:59 AM

That's really not what I do, you're making a lot of assumptions about me there.

The book can be summarized as "Talk to women, be open about your intentions, be vulnerable and not manipulative, and don't put up with them wasting your time" - it doesn't work, it's exactly what I used to do before I even know game was a thing.
/r/seduction16/06/19 03:59 PM

I read the book and it had no effect on my life whatsoever.

I get your point but I kinda agree with OP too... for me I'm also at 50+ approaches and it's started to get boring, it was a lot more exciting in the beginning. Now it's like okay, I know I can do it. I have started to get an idea of what might happen and what the odds are for each type of response to happen are. Maybe this is the point where I'm supposed to keep going...
/r/seduction11/06/19 12:40 AM

Also by looks you should be more specific, it's not just about having good physical looks, it's about having high quality photos shot professionally. I.e. the looks and presentation combined, with more weight even being on the presentation.
/r/seduction11/06/19 12:29 AM

Do you ask them on dates? I have the same problem though so wanna see other replies.
/r/seduction11/06/19 12:19 AM

Do you have an internalized, unconscious belief that it's rude or unwelcome to cold approach? This is something I have struggled with and I think a lot of people do, approach anxiety is not always about confidence in yourself, but can be largely about feeling like there is something socially unacceptable about doing it. Especially with daytime approaching.
/r/seduction11/06/19 12:17 AM

Kinda good but feeds into anxiety more because then there's pressure to approach too.

No, not really, because dudes swipe right en masse, so if you're a guy you have a lower chance of being seen ever.
/r/seduction08/06/19 05:14 PM

That's funny because Models has no references to any external sources, so it might not even be a real study, or he may have misinterpreted the results.

Literally just stop in front of her, smile at her sand say "Hi!", she may stop and you can then talk to her, or she may slow down and you can start walking with her.
/r/seduction05/06/19 02:15 AM

Well, I'm just going to challenge you to approach girls you don't know more often. Yes, sometimes some people may think in their minds that it's creepy. But to quote Todd V, what the fuck is the alternative?

Hahaha. Well I think nervously asking for directions enough times would eventually correct the issue... hopefully.
/r/seduction03/06/19 02:45 AM

No problem, lol. Mostly, yes I think you understood correctly. However, with respect to the touching thing - you still would have to gauge her reaction after doing it, and proceed incrementally. For example if you touched her arm or hands and she moved away, do not continue to go further until you talk more and she gets more comfortable. But I've found that IOIs are too unreliable to always wait for them, and it's easy to second guess yourself with "Wait was that an IOI or not?". And yes, that i…

You wouldn't be asking out all girls you see and it's not really that creepy if you're up front about your intentions. But who cares if someone thinks you're creepy anyway? What's better, someone thinking you're creepy, or dying alone because you were worried about what other people thought about you?
/r/seduction03/06/19 02:36 AM

Do you approach women, and if so how often? What does the top level of your conversion funnel look like, how do you generate leads? I suspect you aren't actively doing much to generate leads in real life and expect it to just happen coincidentally, and/or you use online dating and you aren't an expert at online marketing (that's what online dating is now).
/r/seduction02/06/19 06:00 PM

50 approaches in a day is probably them being far too impersonal and approaching totally RANDOM girls, not ones they genuinely like. It matters.
/r/seduction02/06/19 05:11 PM
2

Yeah, indirect on a cold approach is stupid. She will be thinking "why the fuck is this random guy talking to me..." and then it becomes obvious that you're attracted to her but don't have the balls to say it. It can only work if you have a very advanced game and can effectively "subcommunicate" that you're attracted to her so she knows you're doing indirect entirely by choice, not because of lacking balls. For social circle, or when you she gives massive IOIs, then it's more reasonable to do in…

Yes. I have asked some girl friends I know if guys approach them. Most of them say "only drunk guys at bars". Then I ask them if a guy has ever come up to them in public and said he was interested and wanted to meet them. All of them said no. One of them told me sometimes guys come up to her and try to talk to her about something random first (indirect approach), and she did not seem too happy about that. Most of these girls are like 7/10s. So... direct approach during the day, not drunk is pret…
/r/seduction02/06/19 05:04 PM

Going indirect is worse if you're nervous, if you're nervous and indirect it looks way more creepy. If you're visibly nervous but direct it can still be attractive. A guy coming up and nervously asking her for an opinion on something or for directions IS a bad approach.

Go to washington square on a weekend during the day and watch people, you will probably see a guy cold approach there. Washington square has become a huge daygame spot. In fact, maybe even so huge that it's not worth going there for daygame anymore, girls seem to have their shields up. I got a lot of instant rejections there. I've also seen a guy approach on a subway platform before. I think you're right, less than 5% do it regularly. A much higher percentage have probably done it at some point …

I'm not sure about that, when I'm on a date I've learned to keep the whole premise as "If she isn't leaving, she is attracted to me" and my job is to gradually lead her to a more intimate interaction that may end in sex. I don't think you need IOIs if you pace yourself reasonably, and do physical escalation in response to genuinely liking something about her. For approaches... if you're lazy and have no approach anxiety to overcome then I guess waiting around until a girl gives IOIs would be les…

Since it was your first time, good job on actually doing something instead of doing nothing! It's always better to do something than nothing. At least you tried. Now you must learn for next time! Next time there's someone you like, try not to come up with a line to say before you start talking to her. Just go up and say "Hi" and wait for her to say hi back. Then tell her why you're talking to her, for example "you looked interesting and sexy so I felt like meeting you" or whatever. Then ask for …

I'm 29 and I live by myself and I still disagree with you, but ok.
/r/seduction31/05/19 11:14 PM

Cool humble brag, but IOIs don't matter anyway. Just approach whoever YOU like.
/r/seduction31/05/19 10:29 PM
2

If the girl you like is with a friend, also talk to her friend but be very pleasant and friendly with the friend, try not to create sexual tension with the friend. Create sexual tension with the girl you like by making a lot of eye contact, teasing her, and not automatically saying "awesome" or "cool" to everything she says. Also, force yourself to approach, lol. Drinking a bit is fine, just don't get smashed.
/r/seduction31/05/19 09:58 PM
13

Congrats on the beginner's luck. It's not always that easy though, but just remember not to take it personally when you get a period of multiple rejections in a row (it's going to happen sooner or later).

But you've used direct openers in nightgame and had success? For example at a dance club and you go up to a girl and say in her ear that you think she's hot/sexy/whatever. You've had success with that before? I've only done it in daygame that's why I'm asking.
/r/seduction31/05/19 05:21 PM
3

You have one of the biggest egos I've ever seen on here lol. But yes you're exactly right, women on dating apps/sites receive so much "spam" from men who aren't even their type that it ruins the system for everyone. Chances are most of the women you like will never even see your message or your profile because it's lost in a barrage of hundreds or thousands of other male profiles.
/r/seduction30/05/19 10:02 PM

Not sure who downvoted you but it wasn't me. I get what you're saying, some of them aren't explicit rejections but you can see that she might not be feeling it.

I don't think the re-wording will make it work any better, because the underlying principle is the same, that you've already decided that you want her time before even knowing her, and girls usually don't like that unless you have a lot of preexisting social proof in her mind. Talking to her for a little while before saying that stuff will help though.
/r/seduction29/05/19 10:24 PM
1

Just say "Hey, you look cool" and if she says something back to you that isn't some form of "Thanks, but no thanks", then you can tell her your name and ask for her name. Save the "how are you" until after you introduce yourselves, if you get to that point. Save the "Do you want to hang out some time?" until after you exchange a few more lines, at the least. Find out a few things about her first, what she's interested in, what she likes to do. This will help you to not look totally lonely and de…

Most girls I've kissed actually tried to put their own tongues down MY throat within about 10 seconds of starting to kiss. I think you are totally wrong about "No girl dreams of having your tongue down her throat". Obviously it should happen after you have sexual tension created, and you should gauge her reaction as you go, but a peck and explicitly trying not to be intruding? That is a mindset for being LESS confident, not a good recommendation. How old are you?
/r/seduction29/05/19 10:15 PM

Yes, now you know why "needy guys" and showing too much interest turns women off. This happens to them all the time.

Oh yeah, I am into that for sure. But it takes being social and having social skills to do that, not just fitness.
/r/seduction27/05/19 11:02 PM

This is just false. I can beat 99% of people in a bike race, probably beat 90% in a running race, do more pull ups or push ups than the majority, rock climb at an intermediate level. No women are just coming because of fitness. And when I go out to a bar or club, it's often just a bigger disconnect from the people there. You have less in common with them as a result. It probably helps to keep a girl around and be physically attractive to her once you do get her home, but not in the earlier stage…

It's not, they are delusional. What will make a difference is 90% your behavior, 8-9% your genetic looks combined with choice of style, and then maybe 1-2% everything else (such as being fit). So you think the best course of action is just go for it if she's with friends, regardless of having a wingman, and if she lets the friends cockblock then just move on to a girl who is either more into you or doesn't care as much what her friends think?
/r/seduction26/05/19 01:45 AM
7

If what you said was true, why do top seduction experts recommend wingmen? She can be attracted to you but still have too much social pressure to not look like a slut in front of her friends, or just not abandon her friends because they might be jealous or angry at her. For the sake of measuring your success, yeah I think it counts as a rejection. But it doesn't mean she isn't attracted to you by any means.

You need to eat a lot of extra calories, especially protein. That's basically the #1 thing. But if you don't want to lift, don't lift. Only do that if you're unhappy with the weight you are or if you just think it's a cool thing to do.

Don't focus on tinder, it sucks. It will kill your self esteem and do you really think an attractive woman will meet you from tinder? The odds are simply very stacked against you. For reference, I made a fake female tinder profile with an above average looking girl maybe an 7-8 out of 10, but all selfies and boring/no bio, It got 1800 matches in 8 hours in a large US city. Very high probability she stops responding. For one, you look the same and people say you look the same every time you post this, which is almost every day... But for two, what's the point of even using tinder if you don't look like the pic? And then why come here asking about it, you are the one who got yourself into the situation to begin with by using a pic that you don't think looks like you. It's not our problem.

I disagree with you to an extent. Why would you personally choose to become a certain type of person then? Why do different people develop in different directions? 3 dates without escalating physically will get you friend zoned by attractive women, unless you already have good game and they can SENSE that you're holding back on purpose, not because you don't feel comfortable doing it. Edit: Or you're just objectively much higher social value/attractiveness than them.

I've rejected lots of women and it doesn't make it any easier in my opinion.
/r/seduction23/05/19 10:45 PM

No, you are just missing a vital element of the practice you are suggesting, which is that you need to get used to being rejected even when you do everything right and look great. Because if you go out looking kinda bad, you can literally just make excuses in your mind that you got rejected BECAUSE of how you looked that day, and keep your ego in tact instead of actually being vulnerable.
/r/seduction23/05/19 10:44 PM
1

I agree with this. It's a way to shield yourself from *actually* getting rejected because you can always fall back of the excuse of "But I wasn't actually trying to look good". What you need to learn is how to actually be comfortable with getting rejected even when you did everything right.

I've tried it a handful of times and it's never worked for me. In theory, I think it looks inherently needy so you need to follow up with something really good and be exactly her type. Also: I don't think it's worth bothering with this method of approaching, there are plenty of places to find girls who are either walking toward you so you can stop them before they pass, or who are standing still.
/r/seduction22/05/19 11:50 PM

At least in the US, it's standard if you're approaching strangers for ANYTHING to say excuse me. It's not an excuse or an apology, it's a polite greeting to get someone's attention instead of saying "Hey! You there!". In fact even Todd V says excuse me in some of his openings, it's not bad game.

Green tea and chocolate have caffeine in them so that's contrary to your "avoid" list. Maybe saying avoid excessive caffeine is a better one. This is good advice for general health, but I don't see why you think these things have a connection to having good self esteem or social skills and dating life. I've personally met a lot of people who follow your suggestions already and don't have a good dating life, and vice versa. Yes I think your list is a good way to be at least somewhat attractive, p…

Hmm, I mean I'm not super experienced with nightgame which it sounds like this was, but maybe she just got bored of sitting and talking for so long. Since you did mention she ended up dancing with another guy later, kinda sounds like she was looking for more physical stuff earlier on and maybe dancing with you and she just got bored of talking.

It's hard, I totally understand. What I do to help me get the balls to speak to them is do some approaches where I have literally no objective in mind. I plan to just make some casual small talk and then leave. That takes away some of the anxiety because you probably won't get rejected from that, and you'll find the women to generally be quite friendly. Then once you realize nothing bad is going to happen just from talking to them, you can start adding in the seduction elements. That's where you…

For sure! In my experience when you get to the point of making out, if it's feeling good for you then it's feeling good for her too. So no need to stop after 30 seconds just because you can, only stop if you aren't really that into her.

Interesting, so in 2019 are you no longer getting the one date per month of 2018? Good thing I've been learning how to approach though! I hope real life approaches continue to have higher value for a while. But the great thing is, real life approaches will always have higher value because guys just physically can't spam women with as much volume, and they will probably never resort to stupid, thirsty, socially bizarre openers (like immediately asking if she wants to suck his dick or something). …

It doesn't necessarily mean she's interested in you, I think it's more a sign of her being self-conscious about how she looks. Which could mean she's interested, or it could mean she's nervous around you. It's somewhat situational, if you asked her on a date alone, then it's probably because she's interested in you. If it's a different situation, like you're meeting for the first time at work, then it might just be nervousness. The best way to find out is when you're on a date, try some physical…

How many tinder matches did you get? If you're actually as good looking as you say then you should be getting a bunch just in the first day there (like 30+), and you will be able to just ask for their numbers right off the bat. If that's not working you are probably not supermodel tier, but maybe good looking. I know this because I've experimented with fake profiles on tinder a decent amount. Pickup lines are cringey unless you're the type of person to actually make lots of jokes about stuff lik…

Great post, thanks for including references to data sources! I also like the "Male thirst" one. For me even 2018 seemed like the end of online dating apps being viable. It's literally not even an option anymore unless you are an actual male model. It definitely seems like your "Male thirst" theory is correct, and has been in effect for about 10 years now, but it's a feedback loop that over time intensifies and just perpetually lowers the value of any form of male outreach online into oblivion. There's no proper length, it will vary. I feel like 20-30 seconds is a bit short though. If you're in a private place, I'd try to do it for at least 3-4 minutes. If you get past 5 minutes or so, and you feel like you're both into it, maybe start escalating to something more (touching her in more sexual ways).

To my 20 year old self? Don't stop approaching just because you felt awkward a few times, Experiment and go with the flow more when girls show interest in you, even if you aren't sure about it or you're nervous. Being nervous isn't that big of a deal. Don't get into online dating, it will waste lots of your time. If you fall in love with a girl, don't let your judgement of how much she contributes to the relationship be clouded by your feelings, try to be realistic about it and remember that you…

I feel you, hard to give advice for that, other than trying to remember that it's based on your own assumptions, not on actual facts. You don't know what's in their life, what they're looking for, or how much you fit or don't fit into that without asking, attempting. Somewhere near your place that has couches you can sit on next to each other. Doesn't matter the type of venue but the best would be cafe or bar that meets the above criteria. Sit next to her, talk, touch her, put your arm around, etc. then after it's been a while, say you're going back to your house and invite her to come with you.

I commented this when the same video had been posted before: for someone who claims to "sit outside" the hierarchy, you seem quite obsessed with it and seem to have quite a need to validate your ego by simultaneously claiming to be "equal" to the highest tier of so-called hierarchy (alpha). Isn't the whole point of being outside of the hierarchy to be beyond comparison to it? It makes this whole thing incredibly ironic.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Like you said, it's hard to convey confidence online. You can't convey anything in the delivery, so a confident, secure guy could send the same opener as an insecure needy guy, and the girl can't tell the difference. In real life, she would be able to. It's also hard to tell if you'll actually have chemistry with someone because you can't see each other's mannerisms or how they really look in person. Can you describe more in detail about why that's a turn on? Don't approach her in front of people, but don't approach her in a deserted place either? When are you supposed to approach then? I do daygame, I'm just not very good at it yet. I'll keep doing it, but a lot of the girls I meet in daygame (and nightgame too for that matter) aren't truly my "type". The past experiences I am most upset about are the ones where she was a lot more my type than 99% of other girls I meet.

It doesn't work any better via text. There is no incentive for them to tell the truth, their objective at that point is to just let you down as easy as possible / with as little chance for conflict or you becoming stalkerish as possible. Daygame, I hate how loud bars/clubs are, and the girls there are not as hot which makes sense because going out late and drinking does not promote health. There is competition from other guys, and it seems that even when they don't have game, it can get in your way by simply occupying girls' time or taking some of their energy. I feel like girls' inherent defensiveness is about the same in either case, they don't really seem any more open in nightgame in my experience.

So, before I started practicing game, I used to get rejected by the girls I was really into every time, that's what inspired me to start learning. Since I started cold approaching and doing some thing differently though,. I have actually noticed I am rejected more often by girls I am less certain about. The ones I'm really drawn to reject my approach less. They may still be flaky though (not enough numbers yet to see significance))

Definitely feels like girls have their shields up here a lot of times, I think I'm going to start prioritizing looking for opportunities where I think they'll be most open. I've heard that definition and I think it's an extreme oversimplification. I think what's more clear is that extraverts are people who enjoy and naturally feel comfortable talking to a wide array of people, while introverts simply don't enjoy that, and much prefer one-on-one conversations and only with specific people they find interesting or none at all. It's a vicious cycle. But I think your last sentence is important. He's already lonely, he can't really turn that off and stop wanting a girlfriend just because it's more attractive not to be lonely. What he can do is work on not being afraid of rejection, and essentially taking the problem into his own hands. He can still be honest about being lonely, as long as he's not putting it on the other person to fix it.

I am the same way naturally, but I think I've gotten better by working on the anxiety itself. It helps a lot for me to meditate regularly, and also when I'm feeling anxiety, apply a meditative mindset: acknowledging the physical and mental effects of the anxiety individually, then mentally letting them go and returning your focus just to the moment. It won't necessarily make any anxiety symptoms actually go away, but for me it helps me go back to what I was doing without them bothering me. Try d…

I think it's fine, joking around and being funny isn't really important, what's important is creating sexual tension and you don't do that by joking around. In fact, joking too much will probably hinder you because it looks like a defense mechanism to take away tension and keep things from getting too serious, which protects your ego by not ever getting to the depth where you can truly be rejected. Maybe try watching this for some ideas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDyzxa29Wd8

It doesn't have to be perfect science, but if someone is going to make an argument based on a biological premise it should have at least some evidence/references so we can take it as more than just some random dude's opinion. In MM's case, the premise is that women are attracted primarily to status and determine a man's status primarily through his behavior. And the rest of the book relies on that premise being true to be at all useful. I don't know if it's right or wrong, but at this point that…

Why are you reading this sub if you don't think women should have casual sex?
/r/seduction11/05/19 06:26 PM
2

It may just be me, but it feels like the amount of sexually attractive women simply out there is at a low as well (for my lifetime). It may be true that there is little competition right now, but there are also little women worth competing for. Literally the majority of women I see in daily life are very out of shape and completely unattractive, and many of the ones who aren't are with guys. So there's also that.
/r/seduction11/05/19 06:22 PM
2

The "fun and exciting" stuff sounds stupid to me. It sounds like the same shit that some PUAs tell people to do in terms of being high energy at a club. It's gimmicky, and when you run out of gimmicks if that's the value you're bringing to the relationship then why would she stay after she's done your gimmick once or twice? It's sort of ironic to me as well because if you aren't playing the game (date) on her terms, why are you trying so hard to literally be her entertainment? If you think somet…

Not sure if I'm experienced enough to really say for sure but one thing that I think helps is to mention going out with her (e.g. for coffee) as the reason for getting her number. The longer you can stay with her the better though, I feel like 5 minutes isn't really very long, if you can turn more of those into a mini instant date and ask her to walk somewhere with you or grab a coffee with you or somethin…

How many approaches have you done? If you haven't been rejected you are probably doing something wrong, unless you mean like 3 approaches or something. And it happens, there are a multitude of reasons, no point in asking why.

Honestly, I just think online dating is trash now. 2-5 years ago I used to make profiles with ONLY selfies without even smiling and get a solid number of matches every week, and get girls numbers from some of those, I just had no game back then to actually convert. Now I can use photos that you would think have way more social proof, i.e. smiling, traveling, doing stuff that shows I actually have a life, and get zero matches. I have also gotten more fit, richer, and more emotionally stable since…

I've heard people mention it but I did not get any results. Tried it for like 3 days and just got shown masses of the least attractive women in my city and got one lone match who did not respond out of maybe 30 women I swiped on who were actually dateable. Glad you're getting some dates out of it but for me it's terrible.
/r/seduction05/05/19 09:41 PM
3

I get where you;'re coming from but you will have a better time if you change your attitude / view about it. Just accept that no reply after 24 hours is equal to a rejection. Also work within the expectation that it will happen sometimes... so if you don't get a reply back quickly, don't put your life on hold waiting for it.
/r/seduction05/05/19 09:38 PM
2

Just get it in your head that no reply after 24 hours = straight up rejection, it's exactly the same as her saying no thanks. Treat it the same in your mind and it will help you focus on leads that are still active.

Ehh, I don't know why that is, I'm just being my normal self in the photos. Not the type to buy fancy clothes or go to upscale venues and then have people photograph me doing that, how else can I convey status in my photos? I've tried using various photos, but I definitely use ones that are taken by someone else, usually smiling, outside or somewhere interesting. For example on the last attempt, I had one at the top of a hike in LA (smiling), one with my hands up in front of this weird mirror in SF that shows a reflection upside down, one in an art gallery in front of some work I thought was cool (smiling), the top of another hike in NY state, a photo of me with my bike outside.. and forgot the other. I did get one…

I tried switching my profile to thailand and I got 40 matches in a day btw... in NYC 0... so what does that mean... my photos convey a very low status to New Yorkers. But I'm not actually that low status, I have a pretty good life, just no matter what photos I use it's not conveyed it seems.

Yeah, I would be there to learn more about her too, I get the theory behind what you're saying. But if we're honest with ourselves, the reality is that you're approaching her specifically because she looks attractive to you, isn't it? I think it's good to acknowledge that, that's all, not to say that you already like her enough to date though... so definitely not showering with compliments or saying she's amazing. Just making it obvious that you see her as a potential sexual partner though is go…
/r/seduction05/05/19 03:27 PM

There's no sense in us arguing about this probably but yes you can go to those things and leave socially empty-handed. The part where you meet people there and then follow up with them to establish a friendship (or whatever) is the out of the way part, to naturally introverted dudes who aren't conditioned to get gratification out of that, that is pretty out of the way. It takes a lot of proactive effort, that's what I'm trying to say.
/r/seduction04/05/19 10:19 PM
8

Agree about the non-verbals but not about "you don't compliment a girl". If you suck at establishing WHY you're there without complimenting, or doing it in a given context will look fucking weird (such as walking up to her from behind while she's walking down the street and trying to act like it's NOT because you're attracted to her), then it's better to compliment.

/r/seduction04/05/19 05:24 PM

Okay here's some stuff: If you're approaching in the day and she's on the street or walking (not sitting down), tell her why you're approaching so she can decide if she wants to stop or not. A "Hey" or even a "What's up" does not convey that you want to meet her and find out if you like her. That's what you need to convey, so that she can decide whether to accept or reject the approach. You are not even getting rejected, these girls are just confused about why you're talking to them and are prob…

This is definitely a nitpick, but if you have 40 number closes out of 1000 approaches, that's 4% not 0.5%, or 1 in 25... so it's not a great ratio but not nearly as bad as 0.5% (1 in 200).
/r/seduction04/05/19 04:38 PM
1

You have some good points for your situation. But for some only get like 1 match out of 200 girls they swiped right on, and who are only shown the bottom ranked women in their stack it won't work for
/r/seduction03/05/19 03:42 AM
1

Yeah I believe that it comes with pros and cons... but I can tell you that introvert guys do not really have people falling into their lives at all the vast majority of the time. Having people in your life (literally at all besides family and coworkers) as a male introvert requires that you put a moderate amount of work into going out of your way to meet people. That also may have it's pros and cons (you can be left alone whenever you want to) but it's the truth
/r/seduction03/05/19 03:37 AM
1

I'm surprised... and now I'm curious, how old are you? Edit: Or are you an attractive woman? Because if it's the latter then you live in a very different social world from guys.

Is this a serious question? Spend that money on coaching and better clothes instead. And also invest the rest instead of buying something that's essentially creating negative passive income (passive expense) for you. If you would "feel it" then it's a stupid decision.
/r/seduction02/05/19 10:20 PM
1

Well I have like 40-50 approaches experience (i.e. not a lot), and I haven't gotten a date from any of those but I don't feel bad about it because I've learned a lot, just wondering if as you get better you start to be able to pinpoint the types of girls who will go for you before approaching to increase the success rate. Most of the girls I've approached have been like 7's, a few 6s and 8s and one "10". I'm between 6-7 depending on the day, a little above average but not an obviously "hot guy".…
/r/seduction01/05/19 10:32 PM
1

So what, like 100 or more women of a few different hotness categories? If that's the amount of times you mean, and you are being pretty consistent in your approaches, then okay maybe there's something to it... if it's less than that or just barely clearing that amount and your approaches are really inconsistent, then you can't make a statistically significant conclusion really....

That particular conversation was pretty fucking boring and there's nothing to respond to that, it's a dead end. She's probably bored because you are not going into any sort of depth to connect with her, this is totally surface level stuff. It's hard to get to know someone deeper on text anyway so you should ask her to meet you, although it might be too late at this point. Next time find out some more personal points to connect on during the approach, or be more direct that you want to go on a da…

No it's not worth it, but for future reference one of the main things about aspergers is that people who have it are very literal and somewhat more oblivious than normal at reading social cues. So the most effective method would be to go very direct and verbally tell them what you like about them. On average they aren't going to pick up your intent as well from stuff like teasing and innuendos. A woman with aspergers probably picks up on social cues about the same as a "normal" guy (this is base…

If girls in your social circle are not single and/or you aren't attracted to them, then go approach strangers on a regular basis, and if you like one of them ask them out. If you aren't doing that regularly then you are self sabotaging.

Yeah that's a no, if you introduced yourself first and then she did that, just move on to another girl
/r/seduction29/04/19 01:45 AM
2

I'm not the best at compliments, I think anything is fine, the idea is so she knows you're attracted to her and not afraid to reveal that. However it's actually better if you can do this without too many direct compliments, otherwise it can look like you're doing it to get attention yourself or because you see her as higher value than you. So... if you're more comfortable touching just do that and gradually get more bold with it. I think you'll know if you're overstepping because she won't give …
/r/seduction29/04/19 01:43 AM
2

Yeah, if they don't push you away then lead them somewhere to kiss.
/r/seduction29/04/19 01:39 AM
2

Oh okay, that's a better start than I realized then, but still too indirect I think... make sure you know each others' names but keep touching their elbows/hands, but then you'll have to take the lead at every step by touching her more boldly to make anything else happen, girls almost never take the lead in that respect.
/r/seduction29/04/19 01:21 AM
2

Yeah definitely, you need to let them know you're attracted to them! Shake the hand of the girl you like and make a lot of eye contact with her, touch her forearm/elbow with your hand, dance... if she stays close to you, then a little later you can take her hand and lead her to a quieter spot to make out.
/r/seduction29/04/19 01:18 AM
2

Essentially, yes, maybe make some small talk first. Also don't overlook the touching part, that's important. As a beginner you need to either get comfortable touching the girls you like, and saying things that show that you see them in a sexual way, the simplest form of which is physical compliments.
/r/seduction29/04/19 01:12 AM
2

Well, yeah I agree it is better than what he's doing because he will at least be talking to girls. But I still disagree with it being ideal unless he's a naturally social and secure person
/r/seduction28/04/19 09:26 PM
2

Practice cold approaching, you can start by just having a normal conversation without showing any "intent" if you want to socialize. Then you can graduate to showing intent when you want to get dates. You might meet some people you like as friends as well by doing this. No social proof needed since you can approach people when you're both out alone.
/r/seduction28/04/19 08:56 PM
2

Did he approach them though? I don't see anything in his post saying he did, just that he "tried to get into a group" of girls and that he danced "with" some girls. Sounds like he just walked around the club, stood next to them, and danced. That's not approaching. I'm not hating, in fact I can totally relate, but let's be honest here.
/r/seduction28/04/19 08:47 PM

That is not going to do anything unless you're naturally a very open person who can show your intent to girls and be comfortable with rejection, basically you're saying "just be a natural and have game" without explaining how...
/r/seduction28/04/19 08:46 PM
2

I mean, did you talk to them? If you just go up and stand next to / in front of them and dance, that's not an approach. You probably are not showing any of your real intent to them, or if you are it's done in a very insecure way and they can tell. If you want to dance WITH them, at least introduce yourself first and then dance with them, but make physical contact early with them by touching their hands, elbows, back or something. Essentially you have to do something that makes you open to reject…

Why is this here? For one these are silly labels. But labels aside, this type of guy is not particularly attractive *as is*. I know this because most of my life has been lived like this and it was particularly effective at attracting women (that's why I'm here). Dudes who cannot be bothered to think about or care about their social status do not convey any status in their external presentation or actions. That's not really attractive, so they need game just as much as anyone. It's also ironic to…

If you're walking toward them, stop in front of them yourself and say "Hey excuse me" and put your hand up in front of you in a waving gesture (don't actually wave it). Then IF they stop, tell them whatever you want to tell them and introduce yourself. I've found that doing it like this works really well to at least get someone to stop and focus on you for a moment. I am in this situation with ONE friend, and I'm friends with one ex-girlfriend, so depending on how you look at it, there are two cases. But one in particular we never dated, just hooked up, so there was never any breakup and there's still sexual tension sometimes. And it's actually pretty nice, I would recommend it. I think probably the most important thing other than literally saying you only want to be friends and not date, is to continue making it clear that you have no judgement for her for…

For real! When I first started approaching I was like wow, I just walked up and had a conversation with a girl that would have taken me weeks or months to match with on Tinder, and who probably wouldn't have responded to my message. But you can just walk up and start talking to them, and you can go up to any girl you like instead of waiting for Tinder to match you! Even if you don't get her number or a date it's almost ALWAYS a better experience! There's no incentive to use Tinder in 2019 unless…

Um, just wear it when going to a guy's place or when he's at yours, and wear something over it that's revealing enough for it to be obvious what you're wearing. The purpose is to communicate that you want him to fuck you, what else would you do with it? If he doesn't escalate after noticing then find a different guy.

That's how you end up going years without sex, trust me I've followed that advice before

Three options: Ask her on a date, get her number, and leave and then invite her out later. Ask her if she wants to go with you somewhere in the moment, such as to get coffee, get a sandwich, get a beer, go check out a nearby park, etc., anything to make it an instant date. This is better than getting a number and leaving, because you'll build more of an emotional connection if you go somewhere together, which makes it less likely for her to flake later. If there's the context of you two going to…

/r/seduction21/04/19 06:08 PM

Why does it matter? You'll find out later either way if you talk to her. But if you have this question in your head while it's happening instead of going to say hi, it's literally just making an excuse to not talk to her because you're uncomfortable with something (rejection, expressing your own attraction to her, whatever)

Most guys don't approach or give up really quickly after doing it once or twice, there is actually a lot of truth to it but it's not the full story yes.

I agree dude it's 95% a skill, largely about showing that you're socially valuable but also being fun to interact with for the girl. I'm sure women will enjoy the sex more with a fit guy but that's never the reason the dude gets sex in the first place. Getting more fit can improve some people's social skill though by making them more confident in themselves.

Pretty sure the social proof was like 95% of the reason for success here, other than just going out itself.

None of this is important compared to actually getting out of your comfort zone and practicing lol
/r/seduction14/04/19 09:53 PM

Yes, it's a good plan, just build your habits up bit by bit. Having too lofty of goals at the beginning is too much pressure, better to go one step at a time so you feel like you're accomplishing something.

Thank you dude! I will be working on not leaving before asking the women out soon so I hope so as well. :)

I've only asked for a number/date from less than 10 of those actually.
/r/seduction08/04/19 03:58 AM

Like I said I didn't ask for the number over 50% of the time, the first half of the approaches my goal was only to have a conversation to teach my brain that it's not a scary thing to do.
/r/seduction08/04/19 03:57 AM

Also less approach anxiety is a result in itself that I'm quite happy with!

One number, no dates or sex lol. Probably could have gotten somewhere with the girl who I got a number from, but I didn't think she was attractive enough honestly and it shows because that one was very easy. But to be honest I haven't even tried to close over half the time. That's a sticking point I'm working on next, stop leaving interactions that are going well without asking the girl out.

I have taken it and put it into action, not extremely often but I've approached maybe ~30 women this year, before this year I did so very very rarely and was very nervous to do so without drugs/alcohol.. I've applied some of the non-neediness stuff and flirting advice. However there's also a lot of stuff on this sub that I think is bad advice so I don't follow all of it. The only way it's helped me so far is that it's reduced my approach anxiety a lot. I haven't really seen any difference in res…

Oh I'm aware, I go there sometimes here in NYC, but everyone always seems super rushed and the stores are pretty tightly packed here. Should I still try it though? The ratio of cute women is definitely higher than randomly on the street, you are right lol.
/r/seduction08/04/19 02:24 AM

In NYC a lot of dudes go there.
/r/seduction08/04/19 02:23 AM
1

You're probably doing that because your ego is fragile and wants to take the validation without risking any more rejection by asking her out. I do it too and that's the reason. Your brain has learned that you can easily go up and have a conversation without getting rejected at a high rate, so it has gotten comfortable there and does not want to go further by asking them out because there is more risk involved then.

Cool, I might check TT out then, I've watched a lot of Todd V's videos and have begun to apply some of his theory to my own daygame practice. I agree with your analysis of this forum and how to learn... really doing hundreds or more approaches is the only true way to be a natural at saying what should be said, even if you know what it is without practicing... thanks.
/r/seduction05/04/19 04:26 PM
1

You should be writing down what happened in all of your interactions (field reports) and be able to determine what you did well and what you need to improve. At the very least write it down. If you don't know what you did well or need to improve, read/watch more theory and apply it.

I haven't gotten the beard one but a girl I was dating said I would look better with short hair. But she kept going on dates with me and I didn't get a haircut. They wouldn't bring it up if they weren't attracted to you in the first place. Feels like a shit test to me, I think you're kinda right.
/r/seduction05/04/19 01:05 AM
1

Being fully naked with the girl is the best part about it, I think they would find it weird. You can start one piece of clothing at a time though, like taking just your shirt off first, then pants but keeping underwear on, etc. (before sex, like while you're making out)
/r/seduction05/04/19 01:00 AM
1

14 depends on how she talks about them I think. If it's abut one specific guy and she's always bringing him up... then yeah. If it's telling you about guys she went on dates with that she may not be seeing again or wasn't too satisfied with, then I think it's the other way around (she might be interested in you). I've had a girl who was interested in me talk to me about other guys she was dating, and how it wasn't working out with them. However that was after it was already obvious that we had s…

/r/seduction02/04/19 10:59 PM

Yep, I've had that before, it lasted abut 9 months. One thing that sucks is that still, after a few years, most girls I've made out with and had sex with since then have been unsatisfying. But I definitely started meeting other women who I found MORE attractive eventually... like I said it took many months though,

Pretty hard, my hobbies are rock climbing, cycling, hiking, making music, programming too. Women aren't the center of my life, in fact they are so far from it that approaching/pursuing women did not even come to my mind for years, I only recently changed my behavior to start approaching because I'm getting bored of doing everything by myself or with guys.

Nah
/r/seduction01/04/19 03:53 PM

I think the problem is more that when he gets beyond casual feelings, his behavior turns the women off if he tries to take it somewhere else. That's what I understood from the post.
/r/seduction01/04/19 03:47 PM
1

I disagree with talking to everyone. What if you literally just don't enjoy that, should you not approach women you find attractive then too? I don't think so personally. But if your point is to let go and talk to people any time you feel like you want to, then yes.
/r/seduction01/04/19 03:44 PM

Sitting next to someone on a bus is not a good example unless it was pretty empty.
/r/seduction01/04/19 01:42 AM

Yeah... so make it a goal to get in the habit of asking more often, earlier in the interaction with them. You want to be getting rejected with the "I have a boyfriend" and "That's nice of you but no thanks" more often. If you aren't getting those some of them time then you aren't really trying! I'm guilty of this myself.
/r/seduction31/03/19 09:25 PM
1

I mean, do you ever ask them in a straight forward way to go on a date with you or meet up with you to get drinks or anything and get rejected, or do you just wait for something to happen? You said you're filled with uncertainty, so I'm assuming it's the latter... you get uncertain and you don't ask. Which means you are rejecting yourself without even putting yourself out there and giving yourself a chance. If they start to dislike you it's probably because they don't know what your intentions a…

Yes you're getting in your head. If you aren't approaching people how do you know they don't want to meet offline? Also, even if you do start approaching, you can't make a conclusion based on one (or even a few) attempts either. Too many variables. Some people will want to be approached, some won't, some will be having a bad day, some will be very happy about it, etc. But by far you cannot conclude that they don't want to be approached in real life if you never even try it.

Looking at the replies, seems like there are several factors working together: - The introduction of smartphones and increase in their usage, people are on phones all the time now and talk to strangers less, look each other in the eyes less. - More cultural pressure be ashamed of your sexuality as a man has possibly increased (feminism)? - Online dating becoming very mainstream - Easier access to free internet porn than ever By the way, one thing to remember is that while it looks like the trend…

72%. But still that's pretty bad. If you think about it a different way... 1 out of every 4 guys you randomly encounter haven't had sex in over a year. That's pretty terrible!

Depends on where you are, in NYC a few 8's and 9's walk by almost every day. But otherwise yes you are correct.

Well, if you count VR as a way to make the bots look like 10's, I think it will be less (more like 5-10 years).
/r/seduction31/03/19 12:56 AM

Work on your life then to make it something you think is valuable, and then start approaching. But another thing to consider is what other options do you have besides approaching?

Is this is really what this sub is coming to?
/r/seduction31/03/19 12:22 AM
2

Haha. Well in that case I think it's fine to go out and chat with strangers in your town. I think 30k is large enough that you are not likely to see them again, especially because some people there are probably from nearby towns too. Most reactions you will get are positive.
/r/seduction30/03/19 10:13 PM
2

Depends on what you mean by small town... If it's a legit small town of like 5k people or less than yeah I understand. If it's like 30k people it's probably fine. I wouldn't know because I live in a very large city right now, I have lived in a few small towns but not while I was doing game. Any cities you can go to within a 1 hour drive that have crowded streets that a lot of people walk on, or malls? It is going okay. I've made some real progress. Talking to cute girls when I see them is starti…

👊 Yeah very fortunate lol but not as nice as it sounds because it's like once in a blue moon, then gotta wait anywhere from one to several years for it to happen again. So I'm learning game and approaching now...
/r/seduction30/03/19 09:32 PM
2

Yes we are lol although I am working on it. My friend is in his 30's and says he has literally never approached a woman. There's nothing to teach, idk how it works but occasionally women just were into us enough to initiate it themselves I guess.
/r/seduction30/03/19 09:14 PM
3

This is cool, I'm at about the same place as you! It's fairly impressive that you approached 14 in one session though, for me I'm lucky if I do 3 in one session. But I try to be pretty specific about who I approach. Also I think doing more frequent sessions is better than greater volume per session, because it's more habit building. Totally agree about the 5 second rule, the longer you wait the more you will over-think it and either convince yourself not to, or spend too much time thinking of wh…

Yes, a few times. Also my best friend has too. Online dating can work for that but only once in a very rare while.
/r/seduction30/03/19 08:15 PM
3

I think online dating might be part of the problem, but not for the reason you explained. I literally don't believe that 8/10 guys are fucking 4/10 girls lol. I'm not even an 8/10 and I wouldn't fuck a 4. If Tinder plays a role in this (which I think it does), it's because it makes men's online "approaches" very low value due to supply and demand. There is much more supply of men "approaching" online than there is demand for it. Men swipe right way more than women and send first messages way mor…

She's fairly good looking lol what do you mean
/r/seduction30/03/19 02:55 PM

By doing it. How do you know they're not interested if you aren't approaching? Can you read their minds?
/r/seduction29/03/19 08:14 PM
1

Smiling, laughing, eye contact is not inner game. I really do not understand what point you are trying to make.
/r/seduction29/03/19 04:58 AM
1

No you aren't. I just went to a club tonight for game and opened 2 sets, but I still hated it. I'm also skeptical that they're actually good for game... because, as it's pointed out in a lot of comparisons between that and daygame, there is a lot of competition. It's also hard to get to know anything interesting about the girls because it's so loud and people are constantly moving around.
/r/seduction29/03/19 04:53 AM
1

So in conclusion: Just go for it.
/r/seduction28/03/19 10:23 PM
1

It can work because adults (especially 25+) don't have the opportunities to meet people like younger people do. But also if you're attractive and have value, then why wouldn't she want to be approached by you? Would you want to be approached by an attractive woman who was a stranger? I'm guessing the answer is yes. So why wouldn't it work the other way around?
/r/seduction28/03/19 10:15 PM
1

Because it's illegal to talk to a stranger in public?
/r/seduction28/03/19 10:09 PM

Good luck!

It's difficult to imagine a line that would turn a girl off faster... unless she's already super attracted to you
/r/seduction28/03/19 01:29 AM

IMO it's weird to grab someone's cheek and pull their eye open, that's not really physical escalation because it's not sexy at all lol. Probably should have just put your arm around her while you were sitting next to each other. What else did you talk about?
/r/seduction27/03/19 10:36 PM
3

Dude that was last summer why do you care at this point? Let it go man, focus on the future.
/r/seduction27/03/19 10:28 PM

Don't bring it up verbally, just flirt with her and do kino and if she seems into it then go all the way. But verbally tell her you want to stay friends, not be in a relationship with her.

If it's just happening with your co-workers, maybe there's something about your workplace's culture that's putting people in a bad mood and you could consider switching jobs...
/r/seduction27/03/19 01:31 AM
1

No, but I have had a few women shit test immediately upon meeting me. But they haven't really been explicitly rude. Are you talking only about at the office and office functions? What about talking to women in other places?
/r/seduction27/03/19 01:30 AM
1

I agree with not playing the fake texting game but nope, it does not come naturally by having an interesting life. You have to discipline yourself to change your social habits.
/r/seduction26/03/19 06:58 PM
2

Sounds about right. If she knows that you CAN escalate whenever you want to but choose not to, you'll build sexual tension just by talking to her in a friendly way which is good. If she thinks you're too nervous to escalate then that's how you get friend zoned. Being all super touchy and stuff is actually less confident than being friendly but having her know you can go beyond that any time you wish... so it's the highest level of game!
/r/seduction26/03/19 06:53 PM
1

Okay. Well I would say women online are much more the way you described than women in bars and clubs. Bar and club women are more open to talking to random guys without a doubt!
/r/seduction26/03/19 02:53 PM
3

There are also a lot of guys who are exactly the same way so OP is also wrong about it not being the case for guys.
/r/seduction26/03/19 02:47 PM
3

Don't tell her you like her / ask her out on the first line, she knows nothing about you and you know nothing about her so why would she want to go on a date with you? And it makes you look like you have no preferences / criteria from her perspective. Approach with a different opener and get to know her a bit, try to set up the conversation so that she finds out things about you that show you have value without just saying them outright, and then ask her out.
/r/seduction26/03/19 04:03 AM

Do you even talk to women at bars and clubs?
/r/seduction26/03/19 03:55 AM

I agree, I think it's stupid and you don't need to do it if you're actually doing the right things to attract the girl otherwise. If you find yourself feeling like you're "needy" for the girl's texts, or she isn't engaging with her replies, it's because you failed to attract her or make her interested initially. I think this wouldn't be a problem if you're also more direct about asking for a date and actually just being vulnerable to rejection in that way. Avoid trying to have a drawn out conver…

He was trying to hit on her and failed to do so, which appeared sketchy because they didn't know wtf his hidden agenda was. Hitting on her would be fine if he had actually done that. But that's not what he did, he asked about a coffee shop and then stayed to ask other personal questions without explaining why.
/r/seduction25/03/19 06:34 PM
2

Well it was definitely an overreaction on their part, but the reason it triggered them is because they sensed that you had some sort of hidden agenda (which you did). Don't open asking for directions or asking about something that doesn't easily transition into meeting them, then stick around and try to talk because it can look shady. If you can't think of something, then open more direct, say you were interested in meeting them so they know your motivation. If someone doesn't know why you're ta…

Yeah I understand. Most of my cool/crazy experiences with women have been while under the influence of something, whether that was weed or something else. But I started learning game a few months ago to not need it as well. And yeah the reason it worked is because I stopped acting like my normal self and would take risks.
/r/seduction24/03/19 09:29 PM

Also why do you think weed smoking is bad for game? A lot of girls are into it.
/r/seduction24/03/19 08:58 PM

I don't know, you look like the same dude. Pics can be widely different and not the same as real life for everyone. Everyone on tinder including the women (especially the women!) use the most flattering pics they can find of themselves, that's just how it is and everyone knows that. I understand the worry honestly, because I used to worry about that when I used tinder. But the women do the same exact thing, it's not a big deal. Really what you have to understand is that the pics on tinder are ju…

Why are u on tinder then if you are worried about what she'll think of you when meeting? Just for validation? Just meet her bro and try not to have that mentality of worrying about how you look when you meet. It doesn't matter as much as you think. It's more attractive if you're confident and not worried about it, so Just go meet her and execute whatever date game strategy you prefer.

That's not the logic I'm referring to actually, the logic I'm referring to is that women (and men) want to sleep with the highest value partner they can find... and bringing up sex right away is not high value. A high value guy has enough options and is sure enough of his own value that he doesn't need to do that. Imagine if you are a celebrity guy for example and girls hit you up all the time because they're attracted to you. Do you go around approaching women with a sexual opener? Probably not…

Okay, I see, well I understand better what the term is supposed to mean but I will avoid using it anyway before reading the book. Pretty sure I disagree with the entire theory behind the style though based on what you've just told me... to me, logic would indicate that it would have a very low success rate, and only work when your face value is much higher than the woman's. But hey I'm not actually here to critique it, now that you made it more clear though, I can't see why I would want to use i…

Just other questions in general - For you personally, how many approaches and how often did you do them to actually get over approach anxiety? Are you totally over it or does still happen sometimes but you're just pretty good at ignoring it now?

You know, I'm also definitely aware that a handful of attempts at that method isn't enough statistically to determine if it's successful or not. Basing that decision both on theory + the results, not just the results. But worth getting more results just to see.

Yeah, mode two is generally pleasant, not sure what you mean by women expect that. And I have certainly done it more often, I need to try Mode One more to get experience with it so I can truly compare them. Mostly, I've done it by walking up and saying "Excuse me, I think you're quite cute so I wanted to say hi."... and not very many attempts at that method. I haven't used any over the top adjectives like "stunning" "gorgeous" etc. and it's not really my personality to use words like that, I'm n…

Ahh gotcha, informative. Honestly I don't feel like mode one requires more backbone than mode two when it comes to cold approach. I've done both but I would like to experiment with mode one more, purely for excitement, it's just that so far it seems to have a lower success rate for me... maybe women sometimes feel like while it is ballsy, it's not socially calibrated enough.

Or write a field report and post it here! Disclaimer: I've only asked girls this a few times but they never gave a legit answer and the logic dictates that they usually wouldn't... I mean if a girl asked u what she did wrong wouldn't it be easier to say something nice like "Nothing, I'm just too busy to date right now." rather than tell the truth? It puts her on the spot and is uncomfortable to answer honestly, unfortunately.
/r/seduction24/03/19 12:28 AM
1

Oh you're that guy, I actually read your report and replied to your post. Still - she must have been open to the possibility of sex with you at the beginning or she would not have stayed at the bus station or made up an excuse that she had something else to do.
/r/seduction23/03/19 11:59 PM
2

Also you can know she was attracted to you at some point, because she wouldn't have gone on a date with you in the first place if she wasn't attracted to you at all. She got turned off either by how you acted and/or by something she learned about you.
/r/seduction23/03/19 11:53 PM
1

Well you have a few options: - Study some theory, learn the principles of it, then write a report of your date and analyze it applying the principles of the theory you've learned, trying to be as objective as possible - Write the report and post it here and ask for feedback - Get a dating coach and/or relationship-focused therapist (both?) and verbally report the date to them so they can give you feedback.
/r/seduction23/03/19 11:51 PM

And a lot of girls just saying stuff that is literally not true to avoid upsetting you like "You're a great guy but I decided I'm not ready to date"
/r/seduction23/03/19 11:48 PM
2

No, just analyze it yourself, trust me. Most girls won't even know, or they won't tell you, or even if they do tell you, you can't be sure they're telling you the truth. There's little incentive for them to tell the truth, so they'll be more likely to tell you what they think will make you feel the least upset. It's a waste of time.

Why can't your friends with girlfriends wing you? They don't have to flirt or close with the friend, just keep her attention. Also if they aren't hanging out with you just because they're too busy with their girlfriends, they aren't very good friends. Anyway, I found some on reddit.

Personally I think if he can't not be nervous, he should still try to stay but just make any conversation he can, like ask her name or how her day's going. Not just leave. If she's leaving on her own, then ok let her go, but try to make conversation at least about anything. If he's that nervous then the objective is to become less nervous, not have anything come of it. And by staying in the set he will be providing more evidence to his brain that he doesn't need to be nervous because his life is…

I've literally never seen that happen to anyone, it's never happened to me, and I can't imagine why it would happen either. An extended silence is fine if you don't act nervous while it happens. You could look at her, smile, and be physically calm and it would be way better than walking away. Walking away makes it seem like you're uncomfortable to be in her presence, too unsure of yourself to stay and "back up" what you said. Staying in silence and acting comfortable shows that you are confident…

Acknowledge her friend next time. You just learned one of the first lessons of game: The friends / girls she's with WILL try to cockblock you, so you need to include them in your game and get them to like you. That's why having wingmen is such a big thing, they occupy the friend while you talk to the girl so she can't cockblock. If you don't have a wing then try to be nice to her and friendzone her while teasing the girl you like a little. And be aware that she might not want to look slutty or e…

Very cool that you're doing this, how are you finding/choosing so many girls to approach? I have been doing somewhat similar approaches but my number of attempts has been much smaller, but I can't tell if it's because I'm making excuses or because I am actually looking for specific girls that seem like my type to approach...
/r/seduction21/03/19 03:35 PM

That's really oversimplifying it. While there may be a grain of truth to it, there are tons of types of people in between the extremes you are illustrating who are connecting not under those terms.

It's great that this worked for you, but it's definitely not a realistic plan for everyone, people who are in their late 20's or older and have "careers" it won't really work for.

Nope. But it will be easier when you do take initiative if you've worked on improving yourself.

You gotta define what you mean by success man before anyone can answer the question. Do you mean successfully getting a number, having sex, making out, getting a date, or just accomplishing what you set out to do (e.g. do 5 approaches in a session).
/r/seduction20/03/19 08:55 PM

I guess the last line - But now I get what you're saying. If they're not attractive it's not gonna be fun or worth his time, so there's no point in trying to "get over" that mental block. Agreed actually

You should be more direct earlier in the date. I mean you managed to create an instant date, so she wasn't rejecting you at the beginning. But it doesn't seem like you did much to make it clear that the context was a date and you were attracted to her rather than just hanging out. I bring this up because it will be less frustrating to get rejected if you do this. You will waste less time and the rejection will be more of a certainty than being friend zoned (or friend zoning yourself which it sou…

Honestly, it could be bad if you aren't building sexual tension. In the past when I didn't think about or practice seduction, I had some 4 hour dates that ended with me getting friendzoned... because I was not escalating at all and not creating any sexual tension. Just ending the date sooner won't really help with that, so I don't think you would want to end it sooner unless you're short on time for real. Just make sure to create sexual tension with the girl before hours start going by, and make…

/r/seduction17/03/19 06:53 PM
3

If you don't go back, will you have a shot? You might have lowered your chances, but if you don't go back you have zero chance at all. So there's nothing to lose by going back. Just don't get hung up with one-itis on this girl, just go get it out of your system don't think about it too much.
/r/seduction17/03/19 04:36 PM
3

That's literally not what average means, you described the median not the average. And what that corresponds to depends on what the "10 point scale" points map to in percentiles... which who the hell even knows because different people use their own subjective scales. For some people 9 on the scale could be top 1%, for others it could be top 5%. Edit: However, your point is still valid. I just wanted to correct you on the "average" thing.

Okay, first of all, look up Todd V's Premise vs Intent videos on youtube. They are super helpful. The gist is pretty much from the start you want to establish a "premise", as in the context of the interaction is that you may be getting to know each other intimately if you like her, but not "intent", as in telling her that you do like her. So you don't want to tell her that you like her or want her right away (as you say in your post) but you still want to make sure the context of the conversatio…

Okay I totally forgot the title of this video was IOIs are BS. I disagree with that too as an objective matter, but definitely think they are of minimal importance to seduction/game.
/r/seduction17/03/19 04:16 AM
1

I don't think they are BS, I just don't think they are very important to pay attention to. What happens if you misread friendliness as an IOI? The girl will have to verbally tell you to stop and that she only sees you as a friend. That's about the worst case scenario, as long as you're a decent human being who basically isn't a rapist. On the other hand, what happens if you misinterpret an apparent lack of IOIs as disinterest when she's actually interested, but you base your actions on IOIs? Wel…

/r/seduction16/03/19 08:13 PM

That doesn't work, you can be good at that and suck at doing it in a conversation because the context is totally different. You will get comfortable with it BECAUSE you know you're just going to walk away from each other a second later. Better to practice on all girls you talk to for any reason, smile while doing it, and try to have a playful tone of voice in what you say.
/r/seduction15/03/19 09:38 PM

Okay, you have a type, it doesn't mean they're naturally colder or not.
/r/seduction15/03/19 09:36 PM

Don't feel like watching the video, but I agree they are not important. And the reason why not is that the optimal move is always the same regardless of whether there are IOIs or not.
/r/seduction15/03/19 09:34 PM
1

Oh I know it's easier said than done, haha. I am trying to say that some of the responsibility to make the interaction interesting is yours. Can't expect it to be interesting if you just start asking boring questions. By daygame I mean go into a city where people are walking around and start talking to strangers who look interesting to you.
/r/seduction15/03/19 01:50 PM
2

Okay I have two things. For one, motivation sucks, fuck motivation, you should have discipline instead. Make yourself go through with things that are boring and not enjoyable in order to turn it into a habit because you know that it will pay off later even though you are not motivated at the time. Another one, stop doing tinder and the bar then. Do daygame or talk to just women in other places that you're at coincidentally. And another one: Stop making the conversations boring then. Ask crazier …

It should be called something else then, like "variance" in poker. Actions should still be based on what gives you the desired outcome at the highest frequency but it's just accepted that it's never going to be 100%. The actions are still based on how likely they are to generate the outcome though so calling it outcome independent is incredibly misleading.
/r/seduction08/03/19 06:41 PM

Of course it's felt by both. If it wasn't then it would just be one person chasing. And it's when you can look at each other and know there's a chance you could have sex but you don't know if it's going to happen or not.

Todd V basically says it's a rookie mistake to show intent at the beginning, I think I agree. Also is the statement of empathy really necessary? Have you tried without it and compared success rates? I've done this a few times but it seems like fluff to me. "Excuse me, you look like you could be ________ so I wanted to say hi" seems fine.

Nahhh I don't think it works like that. Most of my life I've talked to girls all the time with no chasing or trying for any outcome and there's not necessarily any attraction built by that. Flirting intentionally is necessary.

Eh, there's other stuff that needs to be done. Having that mindset and not chasing alone is just a way of not fucking up, wouldn't say it causes attraction by itself

Most likely you're acting too meek, playing it too safe, not escalating... basically being a pussy like the other post said.

Could you perhaps have an internalized unconscious belief that it's socially unacceptable to cold approach and there's something wrong with it? So your unconscious brain uses this belief to make various excuses. There's definitely a bit of propaganda out there against it, especially from feminists. I mean, it seems likely that it's not a confidence, self worth, or fear of rejection issue. But if you have an unconscious belief that it's wrong or bad, no amount of confidence or feeling not anxious…

It's only creepy if you're walking up to random women that you have nothing in common with and trying to coerce them into having sex with you right away without connecting with them which is bad game anyway.
/r/seduction05/03/19 11:18 PM
10

Sure, I would tell them "When I'm out and I see a girl who looks like my type, I stop and say hi to her to see if we have anything in common. If we do then I ask her on a date and get her number." It's not creepy and they wouldn't find it offensive because there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
/r/seduction05/03/19 11:16 PM

I get the first reason... it's a common issue. I don't have that problem for approaching, but definitely for escalation (and a lot of guys have it). It's definitely common that once I have some form of validation from a girl or signs of attraction, my brain wants to take that tiny pink win and walk away, instead of taking any risks for the bigger win. Just recognize that it's a sticking point you need to work on, and try to reward yourself mentally for taking the risk anyway. You want to reward …

Honestly, I'm about where you are too. If you're actually anxious/nervous to show your intent and that's why you fail to flirt/be sexual, then yeah maybe do some direct approaches for a few weeks just to get used to it, but then go back to indirect. The ideal thing to do tho is open indirect but then start flirting by dropping sexual innuendos, teasing, starting to touch her after you get to know a few things about her. Like if there's a scale from 0 to 10 of how direct you are, its good to star…

You don't have to literally walk up and approach if you're really that scared. Just say hi as you pass by somewhere, are in line together, etc. Or make a contextual comment on something you notice. If it's so bad that you can't even do these things, consider seeing a mental health professional for social anxiety, I would say it's beyond game if you are unable to even say hi or comment on the weather for example with no intentions of starting a conversation.

It's great that you went out and made some progress! Can I give a few tips? - Why didn't you go out to get boba with the boba girls when they asked "right now?" You could have been like "That's not what I meant but sure, why not". If you had done that, it would have been a far more memorable experience and they would be more likely to keep talking to you later. You could still get out of the friend zone afterwards by just switching from friendly interaction to showing intent. - Instagram closing…

It depends, most of the time there's no benefit to direct openers, unless you are a beginner and have a hard time showing intent after the interaction has started, then it will get you kick started with that. But consider the payoff matrix where one axis is your opener and the other axis is her initial attraction: Direct and she's already into you: You win Drect and she's not into you: Rejection Indirect and she's already into you: You win (as long as you can show intent later) Indirect and she'…

Work your way up in small steps to rewire your brain to not be afraid. Go out a few times per week and start out just saying hi to girls as a habit. One you get comfortable with that, start making some small talk instead of just saying hi. Again do this a few times a week for a few weeks until it's not scary. Then go up one more level to throwing in a compliment/tease/flirting. By starting small you will get a lot of positive feedback that will change your brain's reaction to the idea of being i…

Hmm.. in my experience, the frequency of these occurrences happening has been totally unrelated to self improvement. I also think that with the amount of data points you probably have, it's impossible to rule out coincidence, there's no way to be sure that you would have had different results without focusing on yourself imo unless you have a very significant (large) set of data. We can disagree though it's fine.

I'm no expert but to me it sounds like you're being too abrasive with the qualifying stuff and not honestly trying to connect with her enough on what she tells you about herself before going for the escalation. Approach hot girls when starting so that you learn behaviors that work on hot girls (i.e. the ones you want), not learn behaviors that work on average girls and then have to learn to change your behavior to get hot girls. I can't really see any advantage to practicing game on average girls unless you really want to sleep with as many women as humanly possible, or you're just that bad at dealing with rejection and it's the only way you can keep yourself motivated.

One of the best tactics I've come up with is to tease the girl, then put your hand on her arm/back to let her know you're teasing. When you get past that touch barrier a few times with this method, she'll start to feel comfortable being in each others' personal space especially because you touching her was the positive / comforting side of the tease/touch, so at that point just touch her for longer without moving away. Then if she's giving you lots of eye contact during or after that prolonged t…

So another thing about isolating from the group after they get comfortable with your presence. I was thinking about it, and I imagine what happens a lot of times is that after you introduce yourself and make some general comments to everyone, the conversation will naturally split back into a few 2-3 person interactions within the larger group when some people lose interest in the general comments and want to change the subject. Would you say that's the right time to begin "isolating" the girl yo…

Well the good news is that now you have had a woman consider you attractive because yes that would be an example. The most obvious examples are stuff like: - Touches you... anything beyond just shaking hands when you first meet basically counts. - Comments on your appearance/physical presence in a positive way - Makes a lot of eye contact while you're togther - Chooses to stand close to you (within arms reach) - Laughs at things you say that aren't very funny It doesn't matter who she is with. To summarize for my notes: - Go out with wing(s) when possible - Meet some random guys at the venue and get them to wing - In 2 sets, be friendly with the friend and talk about the target with her - In bigger groups, open them as a group and make an observation about each of them - Once friends are more comfortable in big group, focus on target - Think of some way to get the target on the outside edge of the group, not in the middle, so its easier to have isolated…

I totally know the feeling, but the only reason talking to someone feels weird is because you aren't used to it. Lol not necessarily, it's only if you look away quickly when you notice she looked at you. And the reasoning for that is because doing that shows you seem ashamed or unworthy of letting her know you're interested in her. If you hold it for long enough for her to know you're comfortable being open about being into her and not afraid of her knowing, but then you still look away first, it's fine.

Good job! I'm sure you can do this since you were able to walk up and attempt it and nothing bad happened. Ehh... could it be possible instead that the average guy on okcupid is below the real life average? i.e. 70% of guys on okcupid ARE below average, or at least appear to be from their profile due to bad photos and badly constructed profiles. What do you say after such a direct opener? Aren't you putting yourself at a disadvantage by doing that because now she feels like you want her attention and she knows you like her? I mean I know you and me and others can be at the point where we genuinely don't really need her attention, and are totally okay with just walking away after saying that, but it seems like women wouldn't necessarily see it that way. It's good up until "The people who belong in your life...". Then it's literally just wrong. If everyone followed this, nobody would "come into your life" because everyone would be waiting for other people to come into their lives, and nobody would be doing it. You have to make a point to actively try to connect with the people you're interested in if you want them in your life.

Great reply, I love it! Really good point that you should base success only on things that are under your control to avoid falling into the trap of measuring your success by someone else's validation. Yeah lol good point, I analyzed it in a similar way. It would have been much better if I had introduced myself to her friends and asked what they're up to. It was funny because the girl herself was like "Hiii", didn't actually reject me herself, and even looked back at me her friends pulled her away. But right now my plan is just to directly tell some girls they're cute, since admitting my attraction to them is what I struggle with.

Why don;'t you spend more time in the sets and build more of a rapport then? Try to do more with them the first time you meet than just talk for 5 minutes, only take the number quickly if you're truly busy and have to leave. It could help with both issues, you will have less numbers but each of them will have been a deeper connection. I mean it sounds like you're very focused on getting numbers as the objective, which isn't really the objective.

Except it doesn't matter if she gives you IOIs or not. If you make a payoff matrix of the possible outcomes, approaching always has a better EV than not approaching. Todd V talks about this in his videos. Unless you get IOIs so often that you literally have to choose between women who are giving you IOIs or not every time you approach, you're just wasting opportunities. Approaching women who give IOIs would have a higher EV than ones who don't, but approaching ones who don't is still non-zero.…

Hell yeah Franck, 1 out of 100 complete! Also you have inspired me to go out today! I haven't done an approach for a month now. I don't like #1 because it's a slippery slope that leads (for me personally) to lacking motivation to date entirely. Some degree of idealization / fantasy seems necessary simply for motivation, if you're walking around thinking "all girls do is sit around and watch netflix", where's the motivation to talk to any of them? How can you moderate your tendencies though to stay interested without overthinking/idealizing?

I am the same way, and I think ultimately it's either a self esteem issue, or you don't know how to not be needy. If you think about it from the other person's perspective: would you like it if someone reasonably attractive showed interest in you, in a non-creepy / non-needy way? Of course, yeah, that's always a positive thing and a compliment. Still thinking from that person's perspective, what would make it unwanted? This really doesn't have much to do with introverts vs extraverts. Yeah np, lots of bars and clubs in williamsburg that hot girls go to... you should have a lot of options around there for nightgame. LES is also similar at night but I find the people who go out at night in manhattan more stuck up and that's just not my type. The people you can daygame in mnanhattan are more friendly imo. But yeah those neighborhoods are where the hottest girls are.

This reply is way better than the other replies FYI hope you follow this. The dude who says "just have fun and enjoy yourself and they will come to you" doesn't know shit because that never fucking happens at clubs. Small parties of 10-20 people, sure, not at more public events though.

Local coffee shops and similar places in lower manhattan (e.g. in east village and LES), and pretty much any venues in williamsburg and bushwick.

Where do you live? Is there any way you can get cheap/free aid of some sort if you get creative? Is there anything else you can temporarily cut from your budget to put towards that? If you know you have it, between that and porn addition that's plenty enough to completely kill your motivation... and trust me I've had all of the same issues myself too, still not 100% but a lot better. I'd say just try to prioritize working on your depression/anxiety first, then quitting porn once you've made reas…

I'm also fairly new here, but not to dating... And I'm sorry to say it but that's just how life works 99.9% of the time other than once in a very fucking blue moon. I think about it a lot. I've had the problem many times in my life where the girls I like the most don't like me, but other girls that I'm not as into like me. What's the most obvious common pattern? The way I act around them. That's why I ended up here, to work towards change my habits towards the girls I'm interested in to be more …

Look, I'm a noob at this stuff myself, but after absorbing a lot of theory from here lately... a few things come to mind. First, if she didn't blatantly reject you then you haven't lost yet, if she's still talking to you then you can recover. But by telling her you like her, you probably have given away some of your leverage (or a lot). If you haven't done a lot to build sexual tension and/or make her feel like she wants your validation, It's not exciting for her if she knows you just like her. …

Quit porn and masturbate less frequently, and give it time... like several months, not just a week. If that doesn't work even after you stick to it, I would look for psychotherapy / psychiatry, maybe you have clinical depression and don't realize it. Also try not to think of it as work and not think about having an end goal of sex, but just something to do for entertainment. Most likely though, the porn addiction is the primary reason.

Ugh... what we think is not relevant or helpful in any way. If you want to test your hypotheses, go talk to the people giving you signals. If you won't do that, then it's not at all relevant what anyone else says because your life will be exactly the same anyway. And if you do, then you don't need our opinions.

If you've literally never tried it before, I feel like "kiss with 1 girl" isn't a great objective because it's too focused. I'd make your objective to approach X number of girls and see where it goes, you'll probably learn more that way and will be less likely to turn girls off by unconsciously revealing that you're coming into the interaction with the intent of getting a kiss from her. It's very difficult to hide your intent when it's that focused unless you're a pro.

Nah, there's no hardwired source, it's all about how the brain's reward and punishment mechanism was conditioned throughout life. I can't believe there are people who buy the statements in this image as facts lmao.

Dude, it's WAY more than enough to assume she's into you. I used to be just like you and fucked up many times for the same reason, I unconsciously had low self esteem and my brain would be like "There's no way a girl would actually be into me that easily, something is wrong", and I wouldn't act on it. In retrospect it was always incredibly stupid of me, but my brain was conditioned to believe things like this were never legit and the world was just playing a joke on me. Which is totally false, t…

That's not at all true in my experience or from what I've observed. I disagree that being emotionally and financially stable increases the likelihood of you being available to connect with people. It almost seems like the opposite. You will be more focused on yourself, more busy with your activities, and less sensitive to experiences. It's harder to connect when you don't really need anything from anyone because you have everything taken care of yourself. Emotional swings give a natural push to …

I would define success in this case as it simply resulting in a conversation where the girl is showing signs of interest in you. Not just any conversation, but showing definite signs of interest. Curious how frequently that's the outcome as compared to an indirect opener. Of course it must depend on how you say it too.

I have a similar sort of history, so I understand. Not sure what to say except to be grateful that you can learn from the mistakes rather than upset that you made them.

Cool, good job going out and getting some practice in. Do you often tell girls they look good as the opener? What's your success rate with that?

Trying to convince a friend to come with me so I'll see if he can stealthily record on video from nearby, great idea! Would be great to watch the recording and see if I unconsciously fuck up in body language. And just remember the exact things that were said and how they affected the progression of the game

Go find other women to practice on, and don't worry about this burger spot girl. If you do end up in a good situation there to open her, then do it, but otherwise why are you so hung up on her? There are literally millions of other girls you can go talk to and you won't have the restriction of having to wait for her co-workers to get out of the way. It's already a losing mindset to be this focused on one specific girl. You need to change that.

I'm a beginner so my goal is to simply approach 5 women each day (friday, saturday, sunday) and show that I might be interested sexually/romantically within the first few minutes. My goal isn't about outcomes right now either, because the first barriers for me to get over for me are just breaking the habits of not approaching and acting too "friendly". Once I don't have a problem doing that anymore and start feeling good about doing it, I'll try going for more :) Wish me luck.

New York is decent but there are actually still a lot of fat people here too. If that's really your top priority then Boston and SF beat NYC. They are all expensive though.

Plus I think showing that you can actually have that problem would be good for your game, it means that there are plenty of girls who would like you that you may not necessarily like back.
