So if you’re the train: You have a couple of stops planned...I.e Gym -> sex with wife -> work on business project -> etc Next stop is sex with the wife. Nobody gets on at this stop? ...ok, happily continue on the journey and proceed to the next stop. “Choo choo!!! Next stop: Business Project!”

I would agree that they would fight harder over the new 20%, but it would be a productive time for all men...lol. Everyone would be getting laid. 😂

Your analysis would only be true if the number of women was reduced proportionally. If the top 20% was all that was left the disproportionate amount of women left would literally have to fight over those men.

Our pediatrician told us that that crying it out process allows them to learn how to self soothe. When we are pacifying them, they develop a dependency on us to soothe. You are allowing them to work it out.

Bruh, I have children. There's no need for them to react to logic. All this stuff you're talking is irrelevant. They react to your emotion. Stay calm, put the kid in the bed, and walk out. Let him cry it out. He'll get tired of yelling at himself.

You're using the terms 2-year old and baby interchangeably. Somethings wrong, because they are no where near the same thing. 2 year olds also eat regular food on a regular schedule like adults. Why would someone even think of giving a 2 year old a bottle? ...and in the middle of the night? You're a dad, and that's your son. Tell your wife you got this, and then get that little boy straight, put him in the bed, tell him go to sleep, and then leave. If he's not sick or injured, he can cry it out/d…

No doubt, bro. I think that is encompassed in the self awareness process. Self awareness is hard work and no one is ever "there"...it is something we can all improve. Like you pointed out, listening to some good advice and trying something out can increase your awareness and allow you to grow. In this case we're talking about fitness.

I like this post. I really look at this frame simply as self-confidence or how we feel about ourselves. Not how we make ourselves believe we feel about ourselves, but how we actually, deep down inside feel about ourselves. So, the the answer is really two things to me: 1. Self-awareness. 2. Using that self-awareness to be a high value man. With these two things, like you said, the rest falls in place. Self-awareness: We are good at making ourselves believe things to feel better (aka ego). Self a…

Another good book for this is Emotional Intelligence 2.0, with a focus on the Self Awareness section. The Self Management stuff doesn't hurt either.

Basically what everyone is saying is that you have to be so direct and assertive about getting that pussy that the only way it doesn't happen is if she directly says "no, stop". Just go for it! If she declines, go do something fun or productive and try again next time....not butt hurt!

A real man sacrifices for his family. If a man does not put his needs first and take care of himself, he won't be a real man and won't have anything to sacrifice for his family.

Absolutely, we read NMMNG so we can stop acting like this.

Be careful trying to evangelize this to others. You have to be aware that your dad may not accept this like you did.

At the risk of getting downvoted to hell... NOBODY is sticking ANYTHING in my butt. I'm a man, and I do all the sticking in my house.

Bro, part of owning your stuff is looking inward and making decisions. Sometimes you will feel it is right to serve and take care of your pregnant wife. Don't do it because you're a scared punk, but do it if/when/because you feel that it is the correct thing to do on the inside. The important thing here is to continue to follow your own internal compass, and sometimes that will guide you to compassion and servitude.

This book will do you a lot of good. You will find that most of your issues are with you and not your wife. Often other people are just treating us how we teach them to treat us. Also, don't blame Christianity for your issues here. As a matter of fact, the Bible and RP have a lot in common. Read that book, focus on yourself, and talk to God about it all. You're on the verge of freedom, if you just hang in there and keep pushing.

I think you did well until she went in the house saying she was going to the gym. At that point, I would have shrugged and said "ok, see you when you get back". Goal here is to sound as unaffected by her leaving as possible. She was trying the old "I'll take my ball and go" routine. She wanted you to plead with her to come back. Quickly displaying that you were totally unaffected by this would be the best response. When she came home later I would act like nothing happened...lol.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
