Big tech isn't against anything. They're not for much either. Search algorithms and such are dictated by society at large. If for you, Go your own way means to build a treehouse and ban girls, go right ahead. Bhutan and Nepal both face the same Geo-Political problem of being small nations, sandwiched between Giants (India and China) and relying on them for their own survival and prosperity. That's the reason I compared the two relatively instead of saying in absolute terms whether either is "correct" Some people might be inclined to say not all men and some people might say yes all men. The idea is that regardless of which one you believe in, as you pointed out, the same idea applies to the opposite sex and that's really not the point of contention but how to move on.
