Also to not go full MGTOW that doesn’t mean we should be insensitive all the time or that any every single joke is acceptable or is supposed to be funny. I just fucking hate that some topics are supposed to be banned otherwise you’re asshole

The actual demand for "white nationalists" outstripped supply, and their inaction or in worst cases supported actions of the state/media/organizations against people calling for investigations, is creating what they claimed was everywhere. well...that is also very well said.

not including teenagers and males under 22 i mean cmon...that's not an argument. Sure young people might have similar rates but that doesn't mean jack shit.

I have a feminist girlfriend and her logic is: by men they would rather pick weaker victim eg. woman jeez, when i point this out I'm the asshole when "I can't" cross the street when women are the victims here. (I cross when I feel someone feels unsafe, not connected to gender though.)

I just had a fight on feminist group where my actions were described as mansplaining, where I honestly just shared my opinion. Then I told her that if she thinks that she is morealy superior just because she is woman - then she is womansplaining. Shortly after brigade came and started being like "gaslighting!" "womansplaining doesn't exist!" jesus f. christ. I couldn't imagine living with these people, so fucking toxic.

You should practice reading. The post I was referring to got edited, it had wildly different rhetoric.

I think that in some instances we men define women’s topics and we don’t even stop to think about it. If roles were switched we’d want to burn the houses.

Yet abortion was only one example, you are saying like rest of western world is immunize to the debating of abortion rights but I live next to Poland. It’s very real topic where not a small population were very loudly expressing their views and protesting. The other example is maternity leave in the US, also very women-centered. (We and Europe have long maternity leaves and fem were advocating so that men can use it to take care of the children instead of woman) I mean you are trying to push cer…

You know I don't think they got everything wrong. We shouldn't define everything feminism stands for as bad. incl. trying to normalize different gender roles for men. Honestly I have encountered that men are viewed as "gay" for doing certain activity. Problem us men is that we don't have movement to voice our opinions. We also never had one, women are in the business for centuries and if we don't learn we won't be able to help.

Kinda a rough estimate of how much sexism there is on social media. The only thing you are estimating with this is how much pictures you have in folder X and Y. lol.

Every generation has it's struggle. Honestly I hope the next one's largest problem is going to be gender and civil rights. So it's not all bad. Raise your kid with respect, love, for men and women alike. So that one day he can pass it to others and counter the hate speech of certain feminist groups.

Honestly I don't subscribe to this, especially if we start taking seriously people who abort male embryos just for sake of being male we fall into same trap as them. Also, sure, lives or dies (which depends on your abortion stance, I don't care as long as the baby is not born, but I understand certain limit opinions) but women carry burden of health concerns connected to pregnancy and childbirth. They also carry burden of taking care of the children at least in the first weeks. Thanks to the hor…

Interesting, never thought about feminism or male rights in China. So, what are three real issues in your opinion that men and women in China encounter?

It seems that you are in over your head mate. Your mindset is 100 % similar to "men are rapists, I don't want to date someone who is not simp or feminist". grow up and man up, you will get trashed anywhere. You should work on your self-esteem to realize your self-worth.

I don't agree with male circumcision especially since it's so prevailent in the US - but regrowing your foreskin? Why would you do that? I mean I know friends who got circumcised because of health issues (and by their choice) and they say that they don't care, hygiene is better. Going through rigurous regeneration process? I don't know man.

I have to say that even the title is ridiculous and doesn't do it justice, healthcare is very much male-based. At least in my country the med books, the typical subject of study is male around 30 y.o., 80kg, 170cm (estimate). Couple of my female friends who are studying medicine were very vocal about it because It doesn't account for women at all and can lead to wrong procedures. On top of that, maternity healthcare has it's own issues. Soo...yeah I'm not against it I completely agree with this …

You’re more likely to die younger and you’ll spend a greater percentage of your life working You’re much more likely not to have the most important role model (ie your father) in your life You won’t get as good an education on average and are much less likely (and increasingly so) to go to college I don't think these apply as they are just describing statistic in population based on men's career and life paths. Let's not fall in same pits as other gender. Surely he can chose to be different, not…

And then there's childbirth. Feminists think its unfair that women have to put up with that but not men. They behave as if its a societal issue. That's why they support abortion. So instead of respecting nature and biology and accepting the way things are, they're consistently trying to change nature. Cmon' you make a somewhat good point and then you say this? How can I take you seriously?

It's really not, many people here voice against it without being hunted down which is great. It's that reddit attracts extremes but overall this subreddit is very moderate.

If they get pregnant and the man does not want the baby but the woman chooses to keep it (because its their body their choice...like, b1tch, I helped make some of it so I should get a say, right?) Honestly as much as I support men's rights, this is something I'll never agree with. At the end; pregnancy and birth takes heavy toll on women's body, health and literally puts them off work for weeks, months. On top of that women create emotional bond with the baby after birth, this is just something …

I'm in this relationship right now. Couple days ago, she messaged me "It's my body and I'm stopping shaving. If you care that much you can break up with me." I told her that it's just my preference - I'm not even strict about it, as to expect her to shave that often. In her mind, It's just another unfair double standard by society and brave women don't shave - the bravest of them have facial hair. She doesn't want to shave because it's fault of society that she has to, and she is probably too la…

It's hard as we don't have unified movement. Hell, even this subreddit is too vague. There is nothing for moderates. Other movements like redpill leave me cringing behind. IMO I would welcome moderate movement that is not based on gender. Not for men, not for women. Just both genders sick of this fake drama and perhaps community that encourages people to talk to each other.

I'm honestly sad but not suprised. I have a girlfriend who is a feminist and she actively refuses to hear these arguments. Thanks for fighting for us, well thought points, shame they didn't encourage conversation.

I also don't get it. They say it's not people like me or you, yet they generalize it and blame us. Sure I'll gladly help them even though they make me feel like a bad guy - that's not the point. But I REFUSE to be blamed for speaking out with #notallmen

I would rather be happy that you chill out and understand that most men don't want to oppress you. Also the fact, that nobody wants to take your rights. Also you could understand that feminism is not the key to happiness.

I mean I stand up for men's rights in general but I know pretty much shite about it apart two to three topics we can both agree on. I just don't view this kind of feminism as useful when we literally have discussions about words. Do most women really care about this kind of stuff or is it just portion of radical movement? I honestly think its the latter.
