they get the PG version of me. That's a good way to go about things with any unknown person. Just don't be a dick like the guy in the video.

ITT: People who have no experience around cops, do not know any cops, and have consumed way too much media.

Pulling over suspicious-looking people who scatter when police are around who are in a rental car when there's an issue with rental car fraud is not the same as having no reason.

He was the one that didn't answer a simple question and went out of his way to be a non-compliant dick.

No obligation in answering. How about just answering a question for courtesy? That's what I would have done. It's called mutual respect, if you don't give it you most certainly don't deserve it. Pulling that "Am I being detained?" crap is so fucking irritating. It's basically saying I'm being defiant for no reason and don't care about being as efficient as possible.

Go back to your hugbox or better yet, come up with an actual argument. Your choice.

Anti-cop sentiment that's pervading this liberal-retard culture. Reddit has become a haven for these ideas. The well has been poisoned.

People are losing trust in the police because the idea that cops are bad is being spoon-fed to people through mass media. This in turn makes people treat cops like shit, which then leads cops to constantly be at the end of their rope, dealing with the lowest of lows.

This isn't PPD. Imagine being a police officer and day in, day out, you have to deal with shitheads like this guy who makes things difficult on routine checks for no goddamn reason, saying the same old adage they always spit out. "Am I being detained?". I'm more sided with the cop on this one. That "Am I being detained?" nonsense is fucking irritating, especially after she tells him he's free to go. There's no respect for cops anymore. Their job is to keep order and they get treated like this. I…

"Cool people" aren't conformist weak people, subscribing to every trend that gets thrown at them. Cool people are people who don't care about what arbitrary number people give them on some rating scale. This junk isn't fun either, it fills a very vain deep-seated desire to be accepted and admired by people for just existing as a fuck-object.

That's rough. Luckily my state doesn't have common law marriages like that.

Yeah that's part of the shame due to the traditional gender roles. It's considered shameful to take from a woman. I think in the same situation I would feel the same way, not accepting alimony. It's the idea that men are to provide for women and if you are provided for by a woman, it makes you less of a man. People will also look down on you. It's definitely a societal phenomenon.

I felt the need to explain that to you because your previous comment doesn't make much sense in the context, so I assumed were confusing the Roman Empire with Vatican City. Could you explain what you meant by this?: "Change your ways sinners! Judgement is upon you!" And Actual disintegration of that empire was much more complicated than "Liberalism, dude..." I agree with you there. But you have to acknowledge that liberalism and decadence played a huge role in its downfall and we are living in a…

If your wife is the sole breadwinner and you're a stay at home dad, do you honestly think the court is gonna take some of your shit or your ex wife's shit? Her shit but not nearly as much will be taken from her than would be from me if the roles were inverse. Why do so few men get alimony, Forbes article. Tl;dr -- Societal shame for men accepting or seeking alimony and biases in the judicial system. The example they give in the article, a man filed for alimony and only received 6 months despite …

That shouldn't even be a discussion between people in a relationship. Using an outside metric to value your partner. What a crock of shit. Shitty girl for bringing that up, shows that she just doesn't get it.

You do realize Rome isn't just Vatican City and catholicism. I'm talking about the Roman Empire. Which had similar conditions of today's liberalism shortly before it fell and we entered the Dark Ages when all that "Change your ways sinners" nonsense was the status quo.

In similar ways that Rome 'evolved' towards the end. Turned out great for them.

Your comments have no substance, just snark. Do you even care about discussing anything? Because this sub is made for debate. If you're just going to make sarcastic, character-attacking comments, I see very little reason for you to post here.

There's no reason for marriage anymore. At all. What was once a great institution has become a shell of its former self. What we currently call marriage is a joke. It used to be a lifelong contract, enforced by society. Your children will be raised in an environment with a mother and father present and if you chose to separate, there were consequences socially. Nowadays marriage is solely for the woman. It's not even about children anymore, whatsoever. Marriage has turned into a financial safety…
