My wife and I practice NVC (non violent communication) as much as we can. It keeps the crazy from both of us down to a minimum.

In your experience, do you believe women are attracted to men who try and fail, try and fail, try and fail? Or, generally, are women attracted to men who are currently succeeding?
/r/RedPillWomen31/05/26 12:23 AM
3

Yes, but very few women are interested in waiting around for a man to improve himself. It's too much of a risk of their time. Sure, you could marry a broke guy with a lot of gusto, and he eventually makes it big, but that's essentially a lottery ticket of a relationship.

"Oh, you mean you want a guy with money?"
/r/RedPillWomen27/05/26 04:06 AM

That is a massive, massive error in thinking. History is full of male entrepreneurs who peaked later in life. In fact, most financially successful men who found businesses (the most lucrative way to wealth) are around age 40. Unless one comes from a wealthy family, I daresay the 30's are barely the beginning of the building stage for businesses and wealth.

I can see this, yes. Very well-off men have their pick of the youngest, most attractive women. If a woman is older, a financially elite man is less likely to go for her.

"Oh, what specifically are you looking for that I don't have?" "Umm... money."

100% this. Wise RPW look for the men with ambition and vision, even if they don't have it yet.

There isn't an easy way to say this. Just get used to the idea that it will be very hurtful to men. It's kinda equivalent to a man saying to a woman, "I have certain standards for appearance, health, and an active lifestyle, and I'm not seeing that in you. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to pass on dating you."

Why do you assume that men want what women want? I married my wife because she was caring, radiant, kind, considerate, thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, exceptionally communicative, sexy, stunning, and beautiful. Her vocational ambitions weren't even really a factor, tbh. Perhaps a question you should consider is this: "The men that I want... what do they want?"

Learn how to communicate your needs in a healthy way (for the guy, as well). My wife is a pro at this and actually taught me. It's make or break. No guesswork, just this-is-how-i'm-feeling and this-is-what-I-need. Search around for NVC (non-violent communication). It's a game-changer.

Is a guy who simply cannot fix anything, I sympathize with him. It's simply not my skill set. I'm great at cleaning, cooking, and order, but not it fixing broken things. So yes hire out those tasks to someone who has that gifting. My wife knows this and we adjust our relationship accordingly.

Shaming tactics + blaming men is not only disrespectful but disempowering to women. They have full agency and can choose whatever career path they wish.
/r/RedPillWomen04/05/25 05:35 PM

What to do when someone says something hurtful. I would also encourage you to check out some of the basics of NVC (non-violent communication). It's night and day when this is implemented into your relationship.

Practicing healthy relationships is a learned skill that takes time. The fact that you're here and that you're open to improving your relationship speaks volumes about you. There is a lot on that channel that is absolute gold to create a healthy connection.

Good work on learning the importance of respect. I would encourage you to learn more about communicating your feelings and needs in a way that's more like a martial arts dojo and less like a bar fight. A little structure and communication skills go a long way.

Most likely his experience is feeling controlled or manipulated (even though that isn't your motive) via your conditional statement ("If you do this I'll let it go"), creating even more stubborn resolve. I admire that you truly want connection and resolution. I'd encourage you to take the fight out of the bar into the dojo. Clearly communicate your needs and give him space to do the same.

Happily married man here with a sensual wife (physical touch love language). No shortage of intimacy in my marriage. I married a unicorn, and they're as common as they sound. We have a harsh pre-nup that she agreed to, as well. Don't get married. Everything about it is designed to screw men over. Yes, I'm glad I got married and would do it again with my spouse, but we are an exception among exceptions. The Leonardo lifestyle is the safest way for a man to go these days.

I really like the private lending route. It's not hard to do and honestly more about partnering with the right people. There are two ways to go about it. Secured Notes: Mostly through RE, good APR that pays out as a balloon payment at the end of the term (6-12 months most of the time). No monthly cash flow, your money is tied up, but it is secured as a first lien on the property. Or Unsecured Notes: Provides monthly income, your money is diversified, fixed principal and interest, and often a hig…

VA loans qualify for an auto refi if you're current on your payments without running your standard income verification (as long as the bank can show that you're saving the veteran money). That's my understanding, anyway.

I wish it was that simple for my situation. Being in the private lending side of things, there's a significant amount of networking and transparency required for my side Hustle. However I certainly agree that there are ways I can frame it that make me less vulnerable.

I hear you and agree with you 100%. However, my situation is a bit more complex. Without getting into the minutia, a certain amount of transparency is somewhat... necessary ...for my current situation. Ideally, you are right: Be completely financially independent and appear poor as dirt.

Retired at 42. I think the biggest mistake people make in regard to financial freedom is prioritizing debt reduction before income creation. The challenge with income creation is that most don't know how to do it, lack the skills to do it, or don't know the right people who know how to do it. I've had phone calls already with a couple men on this forum. PM me if you like and I can give you a quick run through of my story.

Funny you should mention that. I was actually hunting around for a Discord to join to talk more about what I do. Index funds in IRAs are great for a typical, middle-class person with a secure job. If you like working, if you like having a career, and if you prefer not being able to touch your money until you're 60, it's a great route. Compound interest is such a wonderful thing. However, even if an index fund does pay dividends, it's fairly small compared to what I can get elsewhere. Perhaps it'…

I have a small IRA that has a low fee index fund. I don't like putting money to non-income producing assets, though. I'd rather create cash flow.
/r/MGTOW23/11/20 02:14 PM

That really is the question. I have a few networking opportunities I can do on my own, if I like, for some side income. Honestly, my lifelong struggle is that I never found any work I actually enjoy doing. It's a foreign concept to me. I kind of envied guys who had a vocational dream or niche that got filled. One of the reasons, however, I did my best to get where I am today is because I never really liked work at all lol

I self-manage for the time being. I use eRentPayment for autodraft (they're a great company) and screen my tenants for credit and job history. So far it's worked out. If and when I get another property, I'd like to turn this one over to a property management company.

Not sure I'm the best guy to talk to for RE advice. I had the advantage of buying into the Austin area market both 10 and 5 years ago. Also, because my loans were VA loans, I don't have to pay mortgage insurance. Because I'm a disabled vet (30%), I get reduced taxes in Texas, as well. Going forward, I'm going to focus a lot on loan assumption (subject-to's). But I've yet to do it so I'm not the guy to ask atm.

It's a wonderful security, but at the same time, a very daunting freedom. I truly could, if I wanted to, do nothing. And that is very much not like me. Most likely I'll network a bit part-time and crank out another book or two, perhaps travel a bit. I want to be both productive and free.
/r/MGTOW22/11/20 03:47 AM

Yes and no. I really like it here in Texas. I'm going to be positioning myself for a loan assumption (subject-to) to get another property here in the Spring. I think with all the forbearance ending it will be a good time to do that.

HMU if you're interested in a secondary income source. I do it via private lending and can give you a decent breakdown. My last day at my 9 to 5 will be Nov 29. I shouldn't have to work again, but I also keep my expenses low.

Let's say you have $40,000 and want 20% on your money for 24 months. That's a monthly P&I payment to you of $2,035 ($1,666 principle and $387 interest, roughly). At the end of two years, you'll have your principle back and a little less than $9,000 in interest. On his end, he diversifies your capital and turns your money over at least 4 times a year (or more…

That's some mad skill, living that frugally (esp in Australia). I'm in the US (Texas) and technically I'm already financially free (my passive income just exceeds my monthly expenses, but not by much). I should be able to create another $1,900 in passive income in the next year. I'll be around 75k a year, which is more than enough. Should retire in less than a year here at the age of 43. Got a friend who does private lending and gets me 20% APR on my $$$. It's nice. MGTOW wise, I want a second house first and then I plan to travel afterward. Maybe write some. How much passive income do you need to live comfortably?

/r/MGTOW13/07/18 04:05 PM

Yep, that's why it's such a beast. It's pervasive, there's no test for it, condoms don't prevent it well, and it's highly asymptomatic. That's why getting the vaccine is so important. You officially know that you have it when you (or perhaps your partner) have an outbreak of genital warts, or when women test positive for cervical cancer. Note that other types of cancers can be caused by HPV, but cervical cancer is the most common.

HSV 1 (oral strain, cold sores), can recur in both the mouth and genital areas. 70% of the population has this. HSV2 (STI/genital strain, blisters/ulcers), can recur in mouth and genital areas, as well. 16% of the population has this STI (1 in 6). The picture above looks more like HSV 2.

How you frame an idea with language is very powerful. "Freedom fighters" vs. "terrorists" is a classic example. If women have "less pay" or are "paid less," that communicates that women are oppressed or that there is an injustice occurring. If women are "earning less" that communicates that women have agency in regard to the choices they are making.

The first rule of Fight Club is that you don't talk about Fight Club. Next time, simply say that you're still looking or you haven't found the right one. If people are saying you're being too picky, just say that is who you are and that you're not asking for anything that you are not doing yourself. For instance, anytime someone asks me about what I'm looking for I say, "She has to be debt free, young, attractive, have my same level of net-worth, and not emotionally damaged." Women are so clueless in regard to income. $65k a year is the top 25% of income earners in the US. This is barely passing for most women (if that). $115k a year is top 10%. Yeah, a LOT of guys here are in the RPR phase. I'm only a month or so out (mine lasted about two years). So, there will be a lot of anger and distrust toward females in this sub. Another guy mentioned his phase was about six years. I'm not apologizing for them. I'm just letting you know what you're walking into.

Religious females are no better, most of the time. My ex was a born-again, Spirit-filled believer (as was I). She left because one day she decided she "wasn't happy." Meaning, she was pissed that she had to work part-time (she didn't want to work at all), and she wanted to be closer to her family. Mainly, she wanted a free ride. She loved Jesus, but that doesn't diminish female hypergamy.

/r/MGTOW12/11/17 11:55 PM

This post is stating that MGTOW opt out of the primary places females have power. By going our own way, we minimize the risk and these places of gynocentric power have little to no effect on us. It also encourages males to realize their true power, instead of being little bitches and whining about the system.

Why the hell would a MGTOW get married? Prostitution is a risk legally and from an STI perspective. Only idiots would participate in that. Who gives a shit about manspreading. Get a car.

Well, I don't know about you, but I'm MGTOW. That means: Gynocentric Court system: Doesn't apply to me. Marriage or common law marriage: Doesn't apply to me. Female manipulation in relationships: Doesn't apply to me. Female shaming tactics: Doesn't apply to me. Gynocentric laws: I don't care, as the majority do not affect me. False accusations: Smart enough for it not to apply to me. Tell me how women have power over my life as a MGTOW?
/r/MGTOW12/11/17 11:22 PM

You're a man going your own way. How do women have power over your life if you're having minimal interaction with them?
/r/MGTOW12/11/17 09:14 PM

I mentioned Big-Daddy government. As awful as that is for MGTOW with kids, other MGTOW don't have to deal with that. In regard to work, set yourself up for success. I have limited interaction with females and someone else is always present. Don't forget the benefit of technology. Record any conversations you have with females (better if you have a camera), so you can prove her wrong.

My comment: "The beauty of the free (dating) market is that it is inherently auto-correcting. People (men, in this case) respond to incentive. If there is little or no incentive to marry or couple, men simply will not do it. It depends on the STI, because different STIs have different incubation periods (the downtime between infection and when the infection will actually show up on a test). What is worse, there is currently not test for HPV (again, the most common STI). I believe the CDC gets their numbers for HPV by using some fancy math... Something about taking the number of symptomatic cases and multiplying it by whatever to estimate the total infections of the population.
/r/MGTOW30/09/17 05:31 AM

The innate biology that drives female solipsism will not permit them to have the capacity to care about anything male (much less male suicide). This is actually one of the reasons Rollo Tomassi started on the path he did with The Rational Male. After the suicide of a male family member, he was astounded at how the women in his family lacked any sort of compassion for the suicide victim.

It's viral, so technically, no. However, 90% of HPV cases clear within 2 to 3 years. It's also highly asymptomatic (no symptoms), so many people are infected and have no clue and can pass it on to others (who may or may not show symptoms). There is a vaccine that is very inexpensive. It's a good risk reduction measure for genital warts but isn't a guarantee against them. https://www.cdc.gov/std/hpv/stdfact-hpv.htm

Honestly, I think it's better if I didn't (especially if you've never watched a video by Coltaine). Not only would I not do him justice, I'd be doing you a disservice by not giving you an incentive to give him a listen. Put on some headphones, clean up your house a little, and give him 13 minutes of your time. You won't regret it.
/r/MGTOW30/09/17 05:07 AM

He does. I wish, like Coltaine, more MGTOW content creators gravitated away from the hateful rhetoric and had a more detached view of women, dating, and relationships. Alas, that's where the movement is right now, and we work with what we have. In the meantime, I'll hold onto gems like this as a continual reminder of why it's madness to be involved with women nowadays.

Any option is simply a bet, but your idea is essentially correct. It's stock insurance. A put is a bet that they stock won't drop below a certain price by a certain time. "I'm betting Starbucks won't go below $50 by mid November." You sell that put, and collect the premium (let's say $1 to make it simple, x100 shares equals $100 bucks). If it goes below $50, you have to eat the difference (effectively buying SBUX at $49) and own the stock. If it stays above $50, you keep the $100. Again, Google …

Ideally, you want to write the puts around 45 to 60 days out. Because that is when the time decay is the fastest. All of my puts have calls written "under" them. Normally by $3 to $5. So, let's say I'm writing a put on Cisco for $32. I'd sell the $32 put and a write a $27 call. So, the max I lose is $500. Also, if the trade is going against you, you can always roll the put further out if there's an odd bump in the road (sell your combo that's maybe a month away and buy one that is two to three m…

I spent a few years in the military. VA loan got me a house with no money down. I rent out my rooms to quiet, introverted guys in the tech area. Also, writing put options on dividend stocks is -mostly- safe if you write them against dividend zombies. On the rare chance you get assigned the stock, you collect the dividend shortly after. Then, you can write a call against the stock for more passive income until it is called away. Rinse and repeat.

You can be MGTOW and still have fun, young man. I'm MGTOW but still date, hook-up, and take lovers. No woman will live with me, have any access to my assets, or in other ways have power over me legally. I won't be in a LTR, but I get laid pretty damn consistently. I've also had a vasectomy, so there's no risk of pregnancy. The only thing i have to watch out for are STIs (which can be tricky).

Condoms have an 18% failure rate according to the CDC. Get a vasectomy. It's the only failsafe.

Choice, but I'm very "low-level" MGTOW. I do a lot of social dancing, so I'm always interacting with females. However, I don't have a girlfriend and will never have a woman live with me. Post-vasectomy, I currently have a lover. We hook up once or twice a week and it's very agreeable.

Haha! It was almost pain-free and the recovery time is about one week. Condoms have an 18% failure rate according to the CDC with typical use, so, be mindful.

Nope. And here's why. *First, not the best family background. So I really never had much vision for kids/family/fatherhood. *Second, here's the math. I'm 38. Let's say I fall in love tomorrow, my Red Pillness goes away, and I start dating a chick. *1.5 years of dating/engagement before we're married. That puts me at 40. *Married for a couple years before we start having kids. First kid pops out at 42 or 43. *That means my kid graduates high school when I'm 60 years old. Yeah, no thanks. *I was m…

Mine was $900, but no health insurance here, and I paid for the best damn doc I could find.

Different "levels" of MGTOW. I still interact with women, but will in no one have any legal ties to one (or have one move in with me).

Yeah, I went with a very reputable doctor. Glad I paid the $100 extra compared to other places. This isn't something I wanted done cheaply! 38 y/o here.

So much for, "I'm divorcing you because it's better for the children."

Finally, a (somewhat) balanced article representing the voices of so many men burnt by the system.

Before the Red Pill, I couldn't imagine why my forefathers did not allow women to initiate divorce. Their wisdom, however, was not unfounded.

"Till a few years ago, relatively few matrimonial disputes reached the courts. But now, with more awareness of one’s rights, pro-women laws (which in a small number of cases have been misused), and stressful lifestyles, more than half the cases in urban courts are marriage-related." No one could have seen this coming. No one.
/r/MGTOW21/05/16 06:21 PM

TL; DR. 1) Women initiate most divorces. 2) Women lack agency.

"Andrea is a 30 year old freelance writer living in the suburbs of Vancouver, Canada. She first discovered her passion for writing at the age of 10 when she began filling notebooks with poetry. She's a lover of wine, sushi, all things Parisian and spiking her coffee with Baileys. She is also a contributor for Elite Daily." Definitely hitting the wall!

Let me sum up the article: Authoress: "Treat us real nice and we'll LOVE IT!" Reality: The guy that does so is a beta Simp, and some Alpha is actually banging her in his offtime.

I think women of the past were more feminine because they encouraged, supported, nurtured, respected, and cared those around them more than I see women do this today.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/16 07:01 PM
1

Surely not. But it seems to manifest itself differently. For instance, let's say I just failed at a task or accomplishment for which I was striving. From my experience, most caring women in this circumstance would, perhaps, listen to me, empathize and encourage me when I'm down. A man, on the other hand, might offer me solutions on how to try it differently, or perhaps verbally give me some "tough love" to try again.

I think, from a man's perspective, those are traits that many guys do view as feminine. Props either way.

Energyvolley, perhaps a better question is how you view femininity between then and now. At the end of the day, it's your perspective. In short, when I think of a woman as a woman, I think of someone who cares, nurtures, encourages, respects, and supports those around her (from her SO, to friends and family), as I mentioned in the OP.
