/r/uber is for passengers, /r/uberdrivers is for drivers. Unlike most drivers, I never expect a tip, but I'm appreciative if I do get them. The biggest problem with entitled drivers is unless you hand them a cash tip they aren't guaranteed to see an in app tip until long after they give you a lower rating. As a driver, changing a rating to the good, or bad is difficult, and requires an essay so the drivers that do this shit are also not inclined to help you.

The rating does matter. As a driver, if we fall below a 4.6 we can no longer drive for the rideshare company. If this happens, you can take their driver enhancement course (i believe it costs money, but not sure as it hasnt happened to me) to get back in their good graces. Your rating is set back to 5 stars and you start fresh. Your rating is based on your last 500 ratings, not lifetime ratings. As a passenger, your rating means nothing to uber, but it does to most drivers, and I've seen ratings…

I cannot honestly answer this as I have no experience with Google play. I can say that it's rare that I can't find a particular song, and that with a paid subscription you can download the songs and access them in offline mode for up to 29 days.
