My dick doesn't care about personality. She'd be great for sex as long as I could put up with her, but nothing else. Not sure even what kind of question this is - make it real interesting and ask about dating her seriously.

You need to stay in the pocket. Nothing about their laugh said anything about how they felt about you. Maybe they thought you were a freak weirdo, maybe they were just goofing on your completely random intro, or maybe they were just talking about something funny that you reminded all of them of, or maybe they were just giggly cause they're not used to some dude hitting on them like that. You don't overstay your welcome, but you get clarification if you're welcome or not. Engage with them, then p…

Your opener didn't matter. You started a conversation. Both pleasantly answered you and the one girl got smiley, then one of them continued talking as you walked away. You were in and then saw yourself out. Perfect openers and shit are unnecessary. You need to get them somehow engaged. You did that simply because they were willing to be engaging. The witty, challenging, whatever perfect intro will never work on anyone unwilling to be engaged. It can break down barriers a bit, but it's not magic.…

I don't think it's bad if you're not relying on it all the time. That means you have to get some reps in without it too.

Same way you achieve anything difficult. You learn as much as you can and practice it often. Get comfortable talking to strangers - everyone. Compliment a guy on his shirt or hat or something at the grocery store. Make small talk with the kid in the checkout line. Simply asking your server at a restaurant how their day is going, then asking, "no how's it really going" when they give you the standard canned answer is easy. Once you're able to engage with people and feel comfortable while generati…

The problem is pretending women's attraction works the same as men's and vice versa. Go look around the dating subs and listen to how women describe themselves - independent, great career, home owner, etc. Things women value in men, but men generally don't care about with women. Meanwhile men are now convinced that physical looks are the end all be all with women cause that's a much higher priority with men. Game is simply understanding and being able to press women's emotional buttons. It canno…

Why men pursue too hard, love-bombing, and come on too strong in general. Something to consider for the guys and ladies of Reddit dating subs... We all see the posts where the woman feels overwhelmed or unsure of a guy because he's basically up her ass from day 1. We see the guys posting about their crush, a woman he doesn't even know, and how she's perfect and all that. We see women posting about a guy that creeps her out because he's immediately in love with her. Sometimes, those guys are cree…

Don't be afraid to disagree, stand your ground, and don't kiss her ass. It's not only ok to challenge her and disagree with her, if doing it playfully, it can really turn her on.

People want to be able to rely on their partner and lack of confidence and insecurity often causes people to be unreliable, especially when it comes specifically for standing up for their partners socially and physically. Beyond that, insecure partners put stress on relationships by requiring constant validation, reassurance, and often aren't trusting. All that shit is completely exhausting.

I guess if you don't have the ability to stand up for yourself, then sure, blocking does make sense, but it just always seems like an unnecessary effort. She bails last minute or ghosts, she doesn't get a second thought. Just onto the next. Also, not mad, just an asshole.
/r/seduction04/06/26 08:13 PM
1

I agree if she's blowing you up or super crazy or something. The fact that she wouldn't even know is exactly what I'm talking about. If she blows you off, then all you're doing by blocking her is trying to save a bit of ego. It's a butthurt thing. If she blows you off and you do nothing, 99.9% of the time nothing more happens. You don't even give it a second thought - why give her a milligram more of your effort by going through the process of blocking her? She's already gone, right?
/r/seduction04/06/26 08:04 PM
1

Right, so because women block you and you can't do anything about it, it feels real good to block ones who've similarly shot you down. You gave yourself away there at the end, cause who gives a fuck of women block people? Alternatively, you don't give a fuck enough to even bother blocking her and if she messages you again, maybe she comes over and sucks your dick or maybe you just ignore it. The only time there's utility in blocking someone is if they're blowing you up or stalking you or somethi…

There's a whole lot of butthurt emotional response to stuff like this. Unmatching, telling her off, etc - it's pathetic "I'll show her!" The vast majority of the time if, she's gone no matter what, but why not save yourself the opportunity to get laid? Cause she rejected you? Cause you're so fucking special? I actually had a woman bail in a similar manner when planning the 2nd date and then reached out almost a week later to reschedule. On that date she admitted that the only reason she reached …

Here's how rating systems work in my estimation - 80% of clicks go to 1 or 10, then some do a 7-9 if they find the guy very attractive but not their style. The best looking guys get lower scores than reality. Mid gals get higher scores than they deserve because of that 1 vs 10 bias and dudes just go "I'd fuck her" and throw a 10 down. Average guys end up with lower scores for the same reason. The truth is it's much easier for a man to overcome being average or just below average looking because …

This is mostly accurate, but yes women do give eyes and smiles to guys they find attractive. Good news is, talking is something that can instantly make you significantly more attractive to a woman - if you're good at it. Doesn't work as well for women as it does with us guys, but it can have a big impact if we're already really attracted. However, that knife cuts both ways for us guys, again more than women. A really attractive guy can get enormous points knocked off for poor social skills, but …

On first dates I generally don't talk about myself much. I ask questions and probe deeper into her. I'll answer if asked, but quickly turn it back to focusing on her. Throughout I'm looking for interesting bits to dig into and places to make a joke or tease her a little. I try to phrase questions in humorous ways and if we get a little banter going, I'll drop a little innuendo or even a pretty pointed sexual comment if the mood fits. Also looking for ways to break the touch barrier and escalate …

If you're good with women, what you do doesn't matter. Women don't care as much about your job as the internet wants you to believe. Women are plenty attracted to potential - have a good plan with good goals that are reasonable and achievable. You're good. Say it loud, say it proud, and own it. Confidence is the most powerful aphrodisiac.

You startled a girl who was reading, fumbled it immediately and your self assessment is try harder? No, the second she seemed annoyed, you were done. If you're really good at this, you can overcome that a lot of the time, but you're not good at this. You need a girl who's in immediately. You can freshen your intro for sure, but when you recognize it's not going well, bail. Everything else is a wasted rep and only more of a kick in the nuts - you made this girl uncomfortable which is bad for ever…

Not only possible, but I find it easier in a lot of ways. If you're interesting and/or entertaining, most groups don't mind a fun new friend if they're out for a good time. You approach exactly how you approach dudes, but maybe be a little flirty. Be fun, be interesting, don't make it about hitting on any of them, but be a little flirty with all of them. Important that if you walk into a room and beeline for every group of girls, many will notice. If you walk into a room and bounce around betwee…

Same reason guys think that because women are attracted to the musculature of men that they need to be a giant body builder who can't wipe their own ass to pick up a girl. I don't know, it's not meant to be perfect - it's subjective. Me personally, if she's got a lot of makeup on, regardless of her underlying beauty, she falls several points for me. I'm generally more attracted to her without it - Sabrina Carpenter for example. I just recently saw a picture of her without makeup (or at least with very little) and thought she was an 8-9, but with all that war paint she slathers on, she's a 6 maybe a 7 to me. YMMV

That's another thing - insecurity. It kills relationships, especially insecure men. It's exhausting and us guys will generally put up with it, but women will not. I'd recommend sitting your girl down, telling her that her insecurity is misplaced, especially with you. I've had that convo before and I've boiled it down to - I think you're intensely beautiful and am incredibly attracted to you, also love [specific personality traits I loved], and the constant questioning is hurtful to me because I'…

I'm not a dating coach, but I understand it better than most folks. The irony of that is I actually came to Reddit for advice on my dating profile. I literally acknowledged my opinion is limited to the women I've interacted with, which is much more varied than yours. You won't discuss your other experience beyond the one you thought was a slam dunk, so you certainly are done here.

It does matter because your bias is formed by a very specific subset of these women. And fair enough, mine is as well, but mine is more random from general interactions with the world so it would be fair to say "most that I've dated, hooked up with, befriended, were friends of friends/girlfriends/etc, or watched my friends date." That's the thing, you aren't using game, you're just lying. Nothing of your strategy- let me give some unsolicited advice. Dont go out with intentions other than having fun. Go out and meet people - groups especially. Infiltrate a fun group and you build immediate social proof abd a home base to return to if a pursuit fails. In that same vein, talk to wonen you aren't interested in too. Good habit and practice, while building confidence in a low stakes way. In the end, you can have a lot of success socially, not just romantically.

I don't try to charm people I'm arguing with. He mounted no defense about himself at all. He spoke of the hypothetical man vs woman conversation, only referring to himself to note that even him challenging what she believes will be called misogynist by other people - morons (he was nicer). You're wrong on both accounts. 1) if you're skilled and can read signals, you can lead with some pretty overt stuff and build attraction while not risk being a creep - it's called charm. 2) I know who I am and what I believe. Maybe I fucked up, maybe she misread me, and I'm open to both, but I don't have to sit there and listen to someone rail on me cause they're a lunatic. You ever talk to someone you don't think much of and then walk away thinking they're way cooler/smarter/whatever than you did previously? Yes and no. Definitely easier, but you can build attraction. Starting from 0 takes lots of time. If you're in the wild approaching random girls, look for at least 50% in your guesstimator. She's open to flirting, but maybe not looking at you that way. Effectively flirt and you can raise that to 75% which is enough to get a number and maybe a date. If you're really good at it, you can take a girl from 50-50 to "my place or yours" upon a first meeting. Natural masters can do this in a few minutes,…

Dude, she's done everything shy of spreading her legs in front of you, pointing to her pussy, and telling you to fuck her. If you're feeling her up and she's not punching you in the face or otherwise telling you how gross it is for her, just kiss her already. If that's too scary, take her out on a date and kiss her at the end.

If she only thinks of you as a friend, that's not going to work. That only works if she's already attracted. Otherwise, she's just legitimately happy for you and maybe even relieved for herself if she's sniffed out your interest in her.

It's been more than 25 years, but if I'm remember correctly I was telling him how much I liked her and blah blah blah - he just interrupted and said it. Best advice I ever got about trying to get with a girl was - just try to fuck her. If you're friendzoned, same principle applies. Stop being her friend and try to fuck her. Depending on the level of involvement and depth of friendship, you need to pace yourself. She's a 'friend' who you see a few times a year at parties and other social events. You can basically start making pretty strong moves immediately. Flirt hard, escalate. If she's a friend who cries on your shoulder when her boyfriend is …

Ideally they find the guy who's dangerous in the world and complete safety with her, hence the romance tropes like Beauty and the Beast or my favorite, Kahl Drogo and Daenerys. He's the most terrifying thing you can imagine, but she tames his savagery and he's all moon and stars with her. Women used to civilize men.

To answer your question - sometimes I kiss a girl I'm casually fucking when I first see her. Some think it's too intimate. What I never do is kiss a girl when I greet her until after we're fucking. It feels really fast. You're not picking up from the very end of your last date, you're resetting to some degree with each date and you have to build back up (which can happen a lot faster each time). Yes and no. It seems to happen way more with women than with men, I think for a few reasons. Simple biology makes sex much more risky for women than men. Men can pump, dump, walk away and there's no repercussions personally. Women get pregnant. That puts them in a compromised position physically for 9 months, then they have a baby who relies on them for survival for the next year or two at pure minimum. Then they can go to basically anyone for the rest of the rearing. Effective contraception, fo…

Here's a secret - most aren't looking for it, but they're willing to engage in it. It's very rare for me to meet someone who just wants to fuck, but meeting someone who's looking for an LTR and down to FWB or hookup until the right person comes along is very common for me. The STD fear isn't completely misplaced, but people take it very overboard. It doesn't help that the science is pretty much exclusively based on asking someone who's getting tested what their history was - and an incredible amount of people lie. No, bad habits get engrained and fuck you up long term. You're right, we don't know OP's skill level or what he's doing to improve it - my point was if he's doing all the wrong things, or even some of them, the approaches aren't going to make him better, they'll arguably make him worse.

The more attractive a woman is, the more dicks they have to deflect on a daily basis so the more you have to bring to that initial interaction to break the ice. They might find you plenty attractive, but you're not exciting them.

2 of my 3 LTR's, including marriage came from work along with a bazillion girlfriends, FWB, and hookups. Might be the place where I've done the most damage so to say. The absolute number one thing is to evaluate your prospect very carefully before doing a damn thing. You need to know enough about her to reasonably be able to assume she's not a total fucking whackjob. The only time I've seen office romances go really bad (like causing scenes, HR involvement, physical altercations, etc) is when so…

The more attractive you are, the better your initial response will be, but even the best looking guys get rejected a lot if they just blindly approach. That's the key here - are you reading signals, flirting, building attraction, and escalating to the place where it's natural to ask her out or make a move? Or, are you just firing blindly into the crowd and hoping someone is into you? For most guys, it's the latter. If you really want a better ratio and better interactions in general, stop "appro…

The fatter you are, the harder it's going to be. Also, unless you're jacked as hell, you're probably not going to be 12-15% at ~210lbs. Waiting to talk to women or try to date until you lose weight is the opposite of what I'd tell anyone. It's like saying you're going to wait until you lose a bunch of weight to start working out - workouts would probably be a lot easier, but you left months of gains on the table waiting. Start on hard mode, get good at it, and then get into normal/easy mode with…

Save your money on any "consultation." You don't need some major style glowup unless you're going for a certain demo of club type fashionista women. If it matters to a girl so much, she'll just take you shopping after you've started fucking her. Get a gym membership, go buy a few outfits that fit well (you don't have to spend a bunch of money, sub-$50 per outfit is very doable), and go out and meet people. Save and/or invest the rest. You're not there to date, but you wonder how you can take them out? Being labeled a player attracts women who aren't looking for anything serious and some who are (fixers). If you're looking for casual (or headaches), having that label helps you. If you're looking for something more serious, it might hurt you initially, but if you genuinely invest in getting to know a gal you're interested in, most women will overlook that label.
/r/seduction15/02/26 01:35 PM

What are you even talking about? Anyone who knowingly fucks around with a taken person is a scumbag. The person doing the cheating is a scumbag too. Reversing the roles or whatever doesn't change a damn thing.

Depends on you. You're competition in general are potentially more physically attractive and more aligned lifestyle-wise. If you're able to compete on those levels, its definitely a possibility. Understand though that most will draw a line based simply on numbers, but if you can make a connection she may overlook it. I split with my ex at 42 and did best with mid-late 30s women. Did ok with early 30s and only had a few interested that were younger.

Most women don't give a shit about money as long as you're not horribly in debt or completely broke. You're paying your bills and live a lifestyle that isn't too far from her own, she's good. There is not "beautiful people" lifestyle. That's internet bullshit. You didn't turn her on so she looked at you like a friend or brother. The key to avoiding this is to flirt. Flirting demonstrates attraction, but more importantly, builds attraction. It's not guaranteed, but it's the most effective and efficient pathway from being a guy, to the guy.

Being charismatic is simply getting people to like you. It's sales and yourself is what you're selling. You want a hookup, not FWB. If you want FWB, note the "friend" part is first in that. Take her out, build attraction, and let her know you like her, but don't want anything serious. I wasn't there, so cant see how all that went, but her pulling back from physical isnt good. Maybe you came on too strong in general, maybe she's got another guy, maybe she's not ready for anything, maybe you're just not a good match. Main thing is, if a girl pulls back, dont push it - one pullback is a mistake, multiple means you made her uncomfortable even if just briefly. If the no spark tji g is rare for you, just make sure you dont push too hard. If it's common, you're repeating mistakes.
/r/seduction22/12/25 04:18 AM

This mostly comes from not flirting enough, or well, and in your case sounds like you were escalating the physical too much - a girl pulling back is bad, multiple times is really bad. Also, if your flirt game is strong it still happens every once in a while, but pretty rare.

You can do that, but again, you're exposing yourself as that guy hitting on girls on the dance floor. If you just walk up and try to dance with a girl and another girl sees that, is she more likely to want to dance with you or less? No, you dance around and get in their proximity, dont just walk up. Have fun, don't give a shit if she notices you at all,but if she does, smile. If she smiles back dance up to her. If all you're doing on the dance floor is trying to get laid, girls will pick up on it - even the ones you dont hit on. However, if you're just dancing amd having a good time, they notice that too. No, you don't want to give women negative feelings, you want to demonstrate to women that you're not a pushover and will stand strong in your morals, values, and beliefs. What you're describing isn't a guy actually being too nice and making her bored, it's her feeling his weakness, getting the ick, and leaving. This is true with almost all women. You dance in their proximity, smile when they notice you, if they smile back you dance with them. You don't interrupt their flow by stopping them from dancing. If they don't notice you, trust me, they noticed, they're just not into you.

It absolutely shows in your body language, that's why people say you're unapproachable. You have to learn to be social. You have to learn how to read people and make them like you. Charisma. Then, with that general ability, you need to learn how to flirt. Being charismatic and understanding how to flirt is the key to women - it's the most important thing.
/r/seduction15/12/25 10:22 PM

I'm sure I've fumbled way harder than that many times. Have to get good at thinking on your toes and delivering flirty responses. The more you flirt, the better you get, and the less those opportunities will pass you by. You get to the point where something like that happens and you don't even have to think, you just blurt out some flirty shit and start a convo.
/r/seduction15/12/25 03:49 AM

If you don't find women attractive, then I don't understand the point of trying to get them. "Attractive enough" for me depends on my goals - the shorter the terms, the less attractive she can be. Regardless I always go for women who I think are hot enough that I'd want a real relationship, but of course have gone the convenience route of women much less attractive in the past. Sexual tension is the growing desire between two people to fuck each other. The rest is explained in that post I mentio…

Awesome dude, you're damn near the summit with that combo. Flirting is going to be where you have to put it all together and start branching out to strangers with intentions rather than getting suck into friends (you can do friends too, but it's easier to start with romantic energy than to develop it from a friendship most of the time). I'm going to venture a guess that there's a lack of confidence as far as women go, which is why your attraction only grows towards friends - you're comfortable e…

Number one thing women are attracted to is charisma. With that comes confidence and social skills. Intelligence and humor work within that umbrella as well. You also have emotional regulation. Then you get into looks, physicality, style. The underlying attraction comes about from caveman wiring - can he provide, protect, and create successful offspring (healthy) within a tribe. It comes down to how important would the caveman version of you be in your tribe 100,000 years ago. The caveman with th…

Everyone keeps it professional until the drinks start flowing. Go, do your business, enjoy the socializing in the off times, and get all the laid you want - most big conferences are rife with people hooking up regardless of industry. I just wouldn't treat it the same as hitting up a random bar on a Friday night - this is a professional networking event, so don't go out of your way to make something happen.

Understand that "you" is not static, it's always changing, and develop yourself into someone women are attracted to. I see stuff like this and just cant imagine the ego involved in thinking you're so awesome that nothing about you needs to change to be a better person. It's like saying, "how do I become a doctor if I dont know anything about biology?" If you arent getting what you want out of life, you need to make the changes necessary to achieve your goals. If being "you" is more important than…

If you're satisfied with your dating, sex, and relationship status, the easy path is a great way to go. If you're getting what you want without a ton of effort, there's no need to overthink it. I look for "easy" as well - things are just better when neither side has to put in a ton of effort to build attraction.

Not a lot of info to go on here. Is it really a pattern or have you artificially created a pattern that you bias your way right into perpetuating? Also, what's the context of these looks - walking down the street or you approach to talk. Either way, what's your build like? If you're a big, burly or just muscled up guy, maybe it's just your particular physique that they notice. You see a chick with a noticeably attractive feature, you're going to focus there first. Just tell her, "let's go outside" or over there or to this other place. If you get in good with the group, nobody will care and some may even encourage it. Watch out for the cockblocker - usually a less attractive (physically or otherwise) friend who's jealous she's not getting the attention. They usually out themselves right away, so if you can disarm them, you're probably good to go. If that's the only friend she's with or that friend is the leader, it's much harder. Again though, the whole st…

Charisma is always the answer. If you have that, you can get women - period. Everything else is an added bonus. All the other attributes you can probably guess can singularly or as a combo make you very attractive to women, but charisma is king. Nothing beats it. Based on your description and the fact that you can already get women, you'll probably be fine just about anywhere so long as their culture supports it.

Find one you can't stop thinking about and it keeps you in check. I have a wandering eye and check people out in general (not just based on attraction - I find the human structure and variety interesting). Part of that eye wander is definitely lusting over women I find attractive. I don't dwell on it, just a "oh shit she's hot" or sexy or something. Part of what tells me that I'm legitimately into a girl is I don't have the urge to actually put anything into action. If I'm with someone, I don't …

It's not that they just like older guys, it's that they like the maturity, stability, and lifestyle an older man can provide. On the other hand, men who are into older women tend to do so as more of a purely sexual thing - more experience, more free sexually, potentially some mommy issues, etc. In the grand scheme of things, people tend to end up with people within a few years of their own age. Bigger gaps are actually somewhat rare, but there's certainly a subset of women who actively look for …

The lengths at which us guys go to rationalize and logically strategize what's simply an emotional and social skill issue never ceases to amaze me. Fewer people day game or are thinking about meeting someone when they're doing boring life shit which happens during the day. Probably because women tend to mature earlier than men, so the perception is you're significantly more mature than a younger man. I'm assuming a 7-8 year age gap, which from 26-18 is significant regardless of gender, but maybe moreso if the woman is the older party. Fast forward 10 years and that gap is pretty much meaningless because the difference between a 28 year old and a 36 year old's maturity is largely non-existent. Lifestyle and life stages are much closer as well.

I think that's going to depend on the woman. Your description makes me think she lost attraction because she perceived you as losing attraction. So, like sex, warm her up a little before jamming it right in there. Over time you'll develop a repertoire of shit that pushes boundaries without coming off bad cause you start drawing the lines yourself. Interestingly enough, by really being able to re…

Glad it went well, but for future reference, everybody has complimented her eyes since she was 4 years old. That makes yours completely unoriginal and potentially even off-putting. Next time, lead with something she has control over - hairstyle/color (if dyed), fashion, nails, something she says, etc. Your next course of action is dependent on the situation you see her again. If it's a place you frequent and you see her often. I might just give her a casual wave and basically ignore her after (u…

It's a common first date discussion, but like I said, you can blow it off. We're talking about a stranger here. 2nd date may be actually more appropriate. Either way, I don't think the problem is your late entry into the market or being too much of a player, it's how you're communicating.
/r/seduction13/08/25 02:13 PM

First, if you're going to be as open as to give a stranger your dating history, be vulnerable enough to tell them the whole story like you did here. "I was a late bloomer and used to be terrified of women, but I started talking to yall and you're just people. I've only had one girlfriend, but I'm really looking for something serious now that I've come out of my shell." This isn't a hard conversation, honestly, but truth is, that shit is none of their business unless you're on the path to serious…

10-20 back and forth exchanges over the course of a 2-3 days is my average to securing a date. I've had it happen as quickly as the first 3-5 exchanges same day and other times we get to chatting for god knows how many exchanges. I don't let things go for more than a week before securing a date - that's a waste of time if you have options.

It's happened a few times, but mostly it's our job to escalate things. If you push her buttons correctly, tease and pull back, women will get more aggressive. So, you're still escalating things, but you drive her wild so she makes the big push.
/r/seduction12/08/25 05:36 PM

Yes, but it doesn't come from nowhere. It's a big leap in an already escalating pattern leading towards it. ONE time I pulled it out of nowhere. Way back in the day my roommate met some chick and she came over that night with her friend. We were partying and I made zero advancement. Things slowed down, the few other people we had over left, and we were all just chatting. My roommate started up the music and was dancing around with his chick - I just looked at the other girl, pointed upstairs, ra…

I had a girl follow me home from a first date and sent me walls of text for several hours when I told her, "I didn't feel a connection". She barely talked on the date and told me she was looking for a stepdad for her kids, then showed me like 50 pics of them on her phone. Contrary to popular belief, there are crazy women out there - see, they're human beings so it is possible for them to lie, manipulate, cheat, and yes, just be fucking crazy.

Dress up sexy and surprise her with it. Just put on the lingerie or just cute underwear and a tight, but short shirt (braless). Let's define cold approach. If you're talking basic socializing and gauging interest through mild flirting, I agree. I do that. If you're talking pulling girls aside everywhere and trying to get a number in 30s, then you're wrong.

Unless you're top shelf attractive and charming, cold approaches in the street aren't going to be good for you. Most people are looking for people in their general age range and double their age gets into creep territory super quick. Dating apps are a safer bet, but again, don't expect amazing results. I do really well on the apps over a ~10 year gap, but it falls off once I hit 15+ and 20+ it basically dies. Where I really do find success is at the bar. Im a regular in a couple places, so I kno…

I think you're over-thinking it. Everyone's goal is to get off the app and escalate in general. You don't have to set the intention or try to make it her idea in any circumstance. Just have a chat and if the vibe is good/strong, escalate. In your examples, you're still escalating, just doing it poorly as if you don't have the confidence to just make the move and/or doing so too early. Everyone knows where all of this leads, it's your job to get her attention, make yourself interesting, then have…

I've never been good with the quick pull. I play a longer game, almost exclusively, 5-10 min at least. In general though, you have to set a baseline so it's ok with her friends (even if just in her mind) to move forward with you. So, you have to charm them too. More often than not, I actively ignore the one I want in group situations until I'm at least somewhat accepted. Then slowly turn my attention to her - just like I did in my previous example. If the group is comfortable with you, she'll be…

That started even before the parents left, but definitely not in earshot of them lol. That's overblown. Social standing is important and yes, women do wonder about guys who have lots of women, but it's more simple than that. Players don't become players because they're seen with so many women. They become players because they have the ability to get women. Simple way to handle it. Don't be a player. I regularly date multiple women, but I don't play them. They get my attention when I'm with them. Why in the fuck are you texting other women while your with them? The women I date ar…

Nagging. "You always" and "you never" - 9/10x it's right there and it's about courting her like you used to. Unless we're talking generic roommate shit (take out the trash), which is more direct. Any time her physical response or general actions towards you shifts. Again, it's pretty safe to assime it's because you stopped courting her. THEN you can interject with some slightly sexualized comment to twist her mind a little bit. Careful with the sexual, cause if you're not good at it, that's how you come off as a creep. What you really want is to show intention. Again, start small, with a subtle compliment. Compliment something she's put effort into, not something intrinsic. Compliment her eye shadow, not her pretty eyes. Everyone has complimented her pretty eyes since she was 4 years old, but she put effort into that makeup. Wardrobe is a good one too. Doesn't even have to be anything major - "I like those shoes." If you have to do 50 approaches a day, your wasting your time. It's closing your eyes, spinning around, and throwing 50 darts into the ether and waiting for one to hit. Yeah, I guess you'll hit a bullseye once in a 1000 times, but if you put that effort into actually figuring out what you're doing wrong and working on it, you can be a hell of a lot more effective. So to me, all that fucking around is a giant waste of time to "eventually" get a yes. How about, consistently getting a yes?

Comparison is the thief of joy. Stop that shit. Start with small goals. Chat with strangers. Once you're able to engage and start brief conversations - a couple non-awkward back and forths, then learn to exit. Congrats, those two steps are the foundation of cold approaches. Now use that with women you're attracted to with no other motive than to get comfortable (and make her comfortable with you). Next, try to demonstrate your intention without being try hard or needy. This is a big step, so be …

If he's uncomfortable and this isn't all in your head, it might be him saying to himself, "shit, there she is again, I don't want her to catch me looking again!" You don't apologize, you shoot your shot! Worst case scenario, your insecurity is legitimate and at the point he turns you down, you just say, "no worries" and keep it moving. The anxiety of the approach is 100x worse than the rejection, I promise.

Sometimes I just start talking to her like she's a translator. "Hey, tell her I think her outfit is on point." To answer the deeper question. Approach groups with a target in mind, but don't necessarily allow them to see it. Talk to all of them. If you can get them all to like you, then they won't be so on guard for their friend. In fact, if you're good at it, their friends might help you.

I tend not to text much, but do offer a phone call if it's going to be more than a few days wait for the date. The power of your voice is so much greater than any clever text, even if you don't have a ton to say. 10 minutes on the phone is the equivalent to ~50 texts. Match, fewer than 10 messages over a couple of days, move to text and secure date, a couple of touch bases, offer a phone call, repeat texting a day or two before the date. Match to date in a week or under 90% of the time.

Ok then, back to the risk/reward thing. I'm guessing you have trouble flirting and reading the signals of flirting, so I'm going to recommend a more direct approach. When you're in a moment where you feel there's a vibe, ask him out. You don't have to be so direct as to ask him on a date, but just ask him out socially, one-on-one. "We should grab coffee sometime." It's just that easy. It won't feel easy, but it really is. If he asks if it's a date, you can play it coy or just come clean. Either …

You missed my point. I meant, where are you physically interacting with him where you have to keep it subtle? Like, if you're at work, I get it. If he's got major ties with your closest friends and family, I kinda get that too. If he's just some guy you've met who's now giving your music lessons, then you can find another music teacher if he shoots you down - there's no shortage out there.

This reads like some teenager level advice. OP is probably too far down the path for any of this, but should have just rolled with this shit and given her space, then tried to set up dates. Why are you putting so much energy into texting? Sounds like you're needy - needing attention, and insecure - requiring validation. If you haven't already turned her off, just use texting to set up meet-ups. If she sucks in person, then ditch her - or just hook up with her until she loses interest and moves on. If she won't meet, then she can fuck right off cause what the hell else are you supposed to be doing here?

It can be daddy issues for sure. It's generally more about guys who have nothing to prove because they're already proven. There's a maturity in older men (perceived or otherwise) that you don't get with younger men. Guys have (or should have) their shit together across most areas of their lives and not only have goals, but have an established path towards those goals. Consider that we're ever-evolving creatures and the older you get, the more you've learned, the more you've evolved.

This is a good post. I think for OP it's important to note that even women who are interested, especially the most attractive women, will put up barriers to determine your value to them. The ol' shit test. She might be super interested, but still has the presence of mind to be evaluating if you're a good fit for her. If you're good at reading the room, never ask. Just tell her. "I'm going to kiss you now" is way better than asking. That said, if you're legitimately good at reading the room, you don't have to ask at all. They like that better anyway.

Kiss on the cheek = "kiss of death" You're right in your assessment - you snuffed out her attraction by not only being weak and needy, but disengaging any sexual energy that had built between you. A kiss on the cheek is something you give your grandma. Now, she's also opened the door for you to transition into a casual relationship. Unfortunately, the kiss of death dug you a hole that's hard to get out of. I'm guessing the moment has passed, but you could have angled your response into another d…

Listen, observe, comment, be relaxed and casual. If you pay attention to what she says and how she's carrying herself, you can navigate the conversation naturally. Sure, but the truth is, yall are fundamentally the same (as are us guys). The right guy with the right timing and appropriate tact is likely to get your juices flowing if he can skillfully turn things sexual. Most of this comes down to going hard with no tact and being able to navigate the situation. Being able to read the room is a skill most dont have. 1 - I've sexualized situations within a few min of meeting or a couple of messages online. It can be a major turn on for her, if done correctly. 5 - likewise, though this one is more delicate. Easy to avoid in the first place. Don't sit on the outskirts and try to snipe women with random approaches. Go make friends, chat with people, be a social butterfly. I'll even do fly-bys a lot of the time. Walk by a group and just drop a fun comment with no intention of starting a conversation. PLAN a fucking date. It's really simple. Find a spot that's near enough to your place where it's not a giant pain in the ass for her to come home with you. You want there to be options within walking distance to keep the date going long enough to build attraction, create comfort, and drive sexual energy. That can happen in 10 minutes, could take 5 hours. I always look for at least 3 options for shit to do. Place to meet - coffee, a drink, etc. Two places to interact more intimately - appetizers/…

All depends on the interaction. Some girl being playful at the bar - I'd probably agree with it then make a bold sexual comment. "Definitely not, but dat ass has me questioning a lot of things." Some girl out in the regular world who's obviously being shy and/or insecure during the interaction - I'd reassure her to some degree and escalate aggressively. Our preferences can be tallied on one hand and you need a god damn quantum computer to figure hers out. I've found the opener matters little compared to your follow up and how you guide the interaction. I pulled a girl by informing her that my feet don't stink. Probably catering to women, overwhelming them with unearned attention, and the cycle of rejection/desperation is a snowball rolling downhill. The bigger it gets, the more they can smell it on you because you force your interactions even more as a response. Stop giving a fuck. Passing shit tests isn't about having the smooth, perfect answer. It's about having zero concern about her opinion of your opinion and demonstrating that you're not a pushover. Every step of the way, analyze what went well and what didn't when you walk away from situations. Don't immediately change anything, just look for patterns of behavior - …

Kinda surprised by these comments. Let's help the bro in need. First, take it to DM's. You're about to ask her out and doing so in public isn't in either of your best interest. Puts more pressure on her to manage your feelings and exposes you to some slight public embarrassment. Drop into her DM's with something funny about small/low windows. Don't worry about it being the funniest thing in the world or anything, just put something down she might engage with - drop it and forget about it. If she…

Cause it's fucking scary. It's less scary the more you do it, even if you suck at it. You build immunity to shit you do repeatedly. A common treatment for anxiety and phobias is to gradually expose people to the shit that triggers them. Scared of heights, climb the ladder until you're uncomfortable. Do it again tomorrow. The next day. Eventually, you'll need to move up a rung to trigger than comfortability. Do it every day, 2x a day, and you can get to the place where walking the roof of your tw…

You're likely not as ugly as you think you are and a good style glowup is likely going to be just as effective looks-wise as the gym/diet time. Do them in tandem, you could probably jump 3-4 points. If the gym and the clothes/hair/etc give you a ton of confidence, that's really what will be helpful. If they don't, you'll probably continue to fail - or even worse, you'll get attention you won't …

There's a major sliding scale here. Dating in general is about testing the other person, and the budding relationship. Testing for testing's sake can get fucked. So can aggressive, unwarranted testing (jealousy sorta shit). However, pushing boundaries and questioning the other person's value to you, your life, and your future is kinda what this shit is all about.

Might as well wear a shirt that says "please fuck me" and walk around your local college campus. That's probably something you want to talk to your therapist about. It doesn't sound like you don't care about these things - the mere fact that you're posting on this sub indicates it's in your craw a least a little bit. And, honestly, it should be. If it were normal to not care about sex at all, none of us would be here.
/r/seduction12/11/24 02:19 AM
3

Yes, absolutely. Go through the bad marriage/divorce subs and read how many talk about lack of sex. That doesn't mean you can't find someone with similar, or similar enough feelings about sex. It just means you're vastly in the minority and finding someone like you is going to be very difficult. Sex is awesome. I highly recommend it. So, I recommend figuring out what your issue with it is and do something about it. It's a huge part of relationships and life in general - you're missing out.

At some point along the way you'll figure out that everything you can do under the influence, you can do better when you're sober - everything except being drunk. It's all the same. Handle it exactly the same. The only difference is how she sorts herself out with her actions. It's up to you to decide if the juice is worth the squeeze. This is a great post. I had issue with your use of indifference, until I read the part about focus. It's not indifference, it's the ability to remain focused. Then, when she's able to distract you, she "wins" - BUT - if you lose all focus at that point, her attraction fades because now you've shown that you're actually easy to distract. Ebbs and flows.

To a point. There's definitely truth to this, but it's also a fundamental part of male vs female attraction and the traits we value most. When a man "can do without" a woman, it can demonstrate to her that he's confident, focused, driven, and considers himself valuable. That doesn't mean he is, it just serves as an indicator. I think one of the wisest things I've ever heard is something along the lines of, "women want to be a part of the life you already have (or potentially will have), not be t…

If you're getting attention and not able to get laid, you just need game. You need to learn to play with them and escalate the physical. Don't get stuck on "who you are." Who you are, right now, is a guy who can't get laid. A guy who's physically or otherwise superficially attractive enough to get women's attention, but not attractive enough beyond that to make things happen with them. Everyone changes (or should) a lot over their lives. This facet of yourself is no different, just requires spec…

The same things that get you laid open the door to romance. It's rare that you can start with romance. Start with flirting and being playful, build a strong connection, then go romantic.

I don't take it seriously until I find someone serious. I date a lot - multiple women at a time, again, until I find someone serious. I try to have fun with the process and focus on the parts I enjoy most - unpackaging someone's personality, buzz of that initial attraction, and flirting. Where one flakes, there's two more to message. If the date is a dud, I have two more dates lined up. Don't really give a shit if someone sucks when there's so many options out there. Despite the hundreds of go n…

It ain't great. Everyone's different though. She might appreciate it about you. She might be wondering when in the hell you're going to make a move. She might be thinking a lot of things - most probably not good for you. However, it's the 3rd date. Id say if you push it much further those voices in her head that make her question how attracted you are to her are going to get much louder, very quickly. Unless of course she's got a lot of trauma, then she's probably just really appreciating this. …

Dangerous when you're young and it's hard to tell if the girl you're flirting with is appropriately aged or not - one of the benefits of being old lol. Sounds like you missed an opportunity. Good news is, if you ride that bus often, there's a solid chance you'll see her again. Make a move. "Oh, there she is. The girl with the hair that forgot to give me her number. Two things: If a girl isn't already super interested in you, a compliment that sounds like every other compliment she's been given since she was 5 years old isn't going to do much for her. Eyes, smile, dimples, you're pretty, etc, etc. However, complimenting something she has real control over is significantly more intriguing. Style, outfit, hair, accessories, etc. That said, a unique compliment on something she's never heard before but can't change is a home run, especially if it's something sh…

You remained interested, but not desperate and showed her that you were going to have a good time no matter what happened between the two of you. Probably trying to hard and coming off as insecure or needy. Don't marry yourself to the outcome, be bold, be busy, and don't take things seriously until it's time to take them seriously. I almost exclusively do dinner dates. Something about breaking bread with someone puts them at ease and creates a bond. I never have any issue escalating or keeping the convo going or any of that. You're trying to play the confident man. You have to BE a confident man. You have to be secure. Disconnect yourself from the outcome while at the same time making the "goal outcome" lower down on the scale. "I'm going to make this girl smile" vs "I'm going to get her number, go on a date, fall in love, get married, have 2.5 children, and live happily every after." Best thing you can do in general is stop giving a fuck.

If you don't hear that every time you kiss a girl, then you're not. But if you are, you should have no problem taking her from kissing to whatever else you want in pretty short order.

There's a lot of factors in that though. Your demo, lifestyle, time restraints, etc. For some, OLD is way, way better than IRL. For others, IRL is the way to go. While I do agree, IRL is actually better/more effective than OLD for the vast majority it isn't necessarily. I'm almost exclusive OLD because my social life doesn't really afford a whole lot of opportunities to meet single women in my demo and it's just way, way easier and much more efficiently. For me, I've been on the apps off and on …

Again, the women you're going to want to match with are likely to have so many likes they don't even bother swiping. I cannot tell you how many women I've gone out with who've done online dating regularly who've never actually just sat and swiped.
/r/seduction07/03/24 05:19 PM
2

How is it defeatist? It's just how the world works. Otherwise, no issue with what you're saying. Sure, some places are better than others for each person on a variety of factors. Just like if you're a straight guy going to gay bars to look for women (low percentage opportunity, but high percentage success rate if you do find single women there BTW), you're not in the right place.
/r/seduction07/03/24 05:17 PM
-2

Doesn't matter. Men have to swipe and women have to filter the likes that come in. The algo means little, honestly. Makes sense too because it's the same IRL. The vast majority of guys don't get hit on regularly, whereas at least half of women do (many don't even notice it lol). So if OLD is a bar, guys come in, look around, start approaching women they find interesting. Women come in, look around, and basically sit and wait to be approached.
/r/seduction07/03/24 04:50 PM
10

While I agree with the breakdown, you're ignoring the ease of access that OLD provides. I can "approach" 100 women in a single day on OLD. Approaching 100 in the wild, even if I'm really trying, might take months.
/r/seduction07/03/24 04:05 PM

Always? Not even close. The point that you're missing is the second you interact with her, she's feeling something about you. You have a fair bit of control of what she's feeling in that moment and the intensity in which she feels whatever it is about you is determined by your charisma.
/r/seduction06/03/24 09:33 PM
1

I didn't say you're making her feel good things, but she's ALWAYS feeling something. It's WHAT/HOW you make her feel that matters more than anything with being good with women.
/r/seduction06/03/24 09:00 PM

Fake it till you make it. Find a friend or someone you know who you can mirror. Start small, take little steps, get more comfortable, and when you start to get the flow of things, inject your own personal touch on it. If you're a 6', 120lb man, you're going to be about less than useless in the gym your first time. 6 months of consistent training and you're going to be adding plates to your sets. 3 years of focus and you've packed on 50lbs, look fantastic, feel fantastic, and are strong as fuck.
/r/seduction06/03/24 07:01 PM

That's the most important thing, but it's something you can really work on. Just have to start working on it. The truth about courage and bravery is it means STILL being scared, but sacking up and doing the scary shit anyway. If you're not scared, especially at first, you're either a psycho or an idiot. But if it's important, you do it anyway and the more you do it the easier it gets.

100%, but the way I look at that is if they can't handle something like that, there's no fucking way we'd be compatible at all. First, a good rule to live by is to NEVER ask women for advice on how to treat women. It's not that they're wrong, it's that the advice they give is going to be about a man they already are romantically (not just sexually) attracted to. Their advice is ok for how to act when you have a girlfriend, not how to get a girlfriend. You need to know how to flirt. With straight cold approaching and nothing else, correct. But if you up your social game in general by engaging with EVERYONE you come across, you can fast track those skills a bit. But sure, it's a slog, it's up to you to decide if putting in the effort is worth it. Depending on where you're starting, it could be weeks, months, or years.

1) definitely helps, but not required 2) absolutely required and there's only one way to get there - practice 3) yep, I don't bother with cold approaches - warm approaches makes life way easier. I may create an opportunity for such an approach - catch her attention in some benign way, but yeah, cold approaches are a young man's game. 4) See 2/3. I worked in sales for a long time so yeah, I have thick skin. I know my value and I know where my flaws lie. Any woman would be lucky to have me, but I'…

Yeah, you too! Its a LOT of work, but so worth it. Beyond women, it's built my career and social life. Shit makes me a better dad.

Yep, I have a similar arc. I had zero friends in middle school, literally ate lunch by myself. I turned it around in HS from a friend standpoint, but was still clueless with women. Fixed that in college and a bit after. One thing Id add to this is you dont have to do all the heavy lifting yourself. Fake it till you make it adds reps, but what are you faking? Think of people you know who you admire who have the qualities you wish you had. Mirror them. It really helps if you're close to them. For …

Better profile, more swipes, develop a strong opener/conversion starter text game. Be different - loose, fun, relaxed, playful.

Shit happens lol. You're not out of time. Dating right now is, IMHO, easier than ever. Your age and slightly less so mine, is a great place to be for a wide range of available women. Early to mid-30's is probably prime for men to date. That's when we tend to peak in attractiveness in general, have our shit together, and have something to actually talk about. OLD is super, super easy if you make a good profile, are diligent with swiping, and have a decent text game. In the wild is ALWAYS better t…

Oh yeah for sure. Tons of hookups and ~3 month girlfriends, two girlfriends of about 2 years each, one 10 year marriage I'm coming out of right now. Picking up women is picking up women. It works similar for hookups and LTR's. Women like guys who can get women.

Not sure if he ever got married. Had an LTR in HS that was off and on in college when I knew him. We reconnected on FB several years back and he had a lot of old pictures with girlfriends, maybe a wife, and I know he's got a kid now. I don't think he was the marrying type, but he may have somewhere along the way. I know now he isn't and his girlfriend (last I checked) is an absolutely smokeshow in her late 20's.

If yourself is insecure and timid it's very much "don't be yourself." If yourself is self-doubting and undriven, don't be yourself. If yourself is, "all women want is the rich Chad with a giant dick", don't be yourself. Fix yourself. Improve yourself. Work on your skills, your body, your career. Not because those things are keys to women, but they build your confidence. That confidence improves your social abilities if you work on interacting with people along the way. The fun, confident guy ave…

I'm 42 and was lucky enough to learn this in my early 20's. Decent looking fat guy who never has trouble getting women. The guy I learned from, the main one anyway, was a loser. Going nowhere (literally 20+ years later he's still in entry level jobs), pretty athletic, but 5'7 or so and ugly. Got more women than a 90% off BOGO sale at Bath and Body Works. He was a master. All swagger, confidence, and pretty good with humor. He's still that same way despite not having two nickels to rub together. …

I dont think it's that they dont believe you, I think its that you're not telling them what they want to hear. At least, that's what I feel like my experience has been.
