I think the NSW Fire and Rescue in Australia changed its entry requirements as the female applicants were unable to meet the physical levels required. Its a slippery slope when emergency services start recruitment based on gender identity, race etc instead of the skills and attributes actually needed to do the job.

I was reading an article that stated that the guy from the CAtholic school was in a group waiting for his bus with another group "protesting ' nearby when the American Indian man who was also nearby came up to the kid and got in his face and was beating a drum etc. A photo from another angle shows the kids face looking very different from the "smirk" he is accused of.
