I think you hit the nail on the head there mate, she's always wanted to look like she's a model mother except that behind doors she was horrid to all of us! When I told her that I'd had enough and couldn't take the abuse anymore the first thing she said was 'Everyone is going to think I failed!'

No worries at all mate! Your advice was still good advice! I probably wasn't clear enough! Basically she did it once and then begged for me not to take it, after that it became part of the settlement and she did it again before she fulfilled the sealed orders, so there was nothing I could do about it!

Thanks mate, the car was part of the settlement, so I couldn't actually take it off her in the end, I fail to see how it was my fault that she wasn't completing the settlement in the time the courts gave her...I am actively avoiding all communication between her and me and the settlement has gone through so the car is no longer in my name so I'm basically free of her, I understand that I can't control what she does but I also can't avoid her entirely as she is the mother of my children..just wan…

Glad to hear it mate, I was in a similar situation! I was struggling badly with mental health most of my marriage, my flight or fight was constantly at 90% so my Narcissist wife would take advantage of it, she'd put me and the kids down, fly into a rage throwing things around etc and for the most part id take it because I just couldn't deal with it. She also kept me from my family and I went 8 years without speaking to my brother because she hated him and would make life horrible for the kids an…

Thanks mate, it makes me feel better knowing other people are in similar situations (not that I wish it on any of you!) keeping busy is a good idea, there's a lawn that needs to be mowed that keeps looking at me so I might get stuck into that haha

I feel ya mate, I only get mine every second weekend and it's just not enough, before we divorced I would do everything with them and they'd run to me when she was yelling abuse at them, they wouldn't let her out them to bed and wanted me always, especially in times of need. I feel so bad for leaving but it was worse with me there because after ten years of copping her abuse I just couldn't help fighting back anymore and it was becoming a horrible environment for a 7 and 10 year old to be living…

I'm sorry to hear that man! I feel your pain, it's hard to feel like we have done the right thing when they make us feel like we abandoned them! Unfortunately my ex wife and by the sounds of your ex wife they don't actually have the kids best interest in what they do! I've already got a lawyer but things are going at a snails pace, good luck with it all mate

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
