I wouldn't be too worried about the flowers rotting, flowers die very quickly once cut anyway, so I'm sure it has nothing to do with him disliking the gift. That said, make him a steak, take him someplace 'manly' to eat, get him a gift card for his favourite gaming platform, or something like that. Play into his interests, that's how you choose the best gifts in general.

That's not the point. The point is nobody is raised in a vacuum. There is no reason to assume all the Taliban's mom's indoctrinated them personally, it could've just been the equivalent of a gang they started running with as a teenager or a club their buddies joined. There's no reason to assume it's all women's fault the Taliban persists.. honestly it's the extremist men moreso than the women since they're the ones pushing the beliefs on indoctrinated child soldiers.

Men and boys are the majority victims yes, but i think you missed my point. Sure, dying sucks, but the people who die are dead. They no longer suffer (presumably) and hence must endure far less than those who are FORCED to live, despite their greatest wish to the contrary. It's not a question of what they'll willingly endure to survive, it's about what tortures and traumas they will be forcibly subjected to with no escape. As i said, there are worse things than death.

Could you imagine having your bodily autonomy taken and raped daily, kept in cages with barely enough food to subsist on, then being forced to bear baby after baby for the people who stole you from your home? I think it's less that those beliefs are set aside and more that they just aren't relevant. Your views of how a stand-up male in society acts (masculinity) shouldn't really have any bearing on your views of queer rights, or how a women should act, or your views on race. It's a personal standard you set for yourself and don't impose on others, regardless of race, sex, or sexual orientation.

Ok, firstly I'm actually in my early 20s, so rude. TL:DR Side effects are extremely rare but of course you hear about them because there are so many people using it that there will of course be a few very loud examples of the worst case, unfortunately.
