In the long run yes, but politicians are only thinking to the next term in office. There's a lot of votes that can be bought by employing people in all those government agencies. This is why I think universal suffrage is a bad idea - you should have to pay taxes or own property to vote otherwise the government can just buy votes by handing money to people who don't contribute.

I'd disagree completely, she's been campaigning for men's rights since well before most of us were born. She tried to open a men's shelter in the 70s but no one would give her funding. Since it was in Britain it depends if it was tried in a criminal court or a county court. If it was a county court then there isn't a Jury. It's also not uncommon for people to represent themselves in a county court.
