Men love to chase so you need to show enough interest to keep him around but not too much to where he loses interest. Male invader. Don't get this balance wrong. If I feel for a second that a girl is trying to feel pursued or trying to suck me into her frame I'm out faster than the babysitter's boyfriend when a car pulls up. Nothing sends red flags like a woman who loves feeling pursued and plays push/pull to meet that end. At the same time if a girl doesn't give me that extra 10% and seems like…

Because expressed motive and underlying motive are two distinctly different things. Here's fascinating study designed by Dan Batson that shows people making a selfish choice, then rationalizing it away to the point of believing their own rationalizations. It's important to know that the prefrontal cortex evolved to support our limbic system, not vice versa. So the parts of our brain that give us a stream of consciousness aren't there to actually help us perceive reality or form object opinions a…

They don't produce reliable data, and that's why they are considered an unreliable source. Scientific method doesn't play favourites, it exists as a means to find firm groundings for hypothesis. There is no "True enough for us, but not for science".
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/15 02:19 AM

And I'm claiming it to be unreliable data. You need either data or reason to support the assertion otherwise it's irrelevant. If you weren't attaching an assertion to your raising the point which I contest (ie based on surveys men blah blah) you wouldn't have raised it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/15 02:11 AM

Surveys aren't scientific. It's one of the first things you learn in science theory classes when they are teaching you to assess sources.

Amused mastery is like chuckling when a child tries to wrestle with you. It's paternal, unwavering, strong, masculine love in its purest form.

Now you're getting it! Your life is a gift to you, not anyone else. What does it matter if you fail a shit test here or there, as long as you are happy. That's what true outcome independence is, it's putting your happiness on the pedestal where once pussy sat. Start journalling. Start meditating. Lift because it makes you happy. Employ amused mastery because it amuses you, not her. Fuck her because you want her. Never let yourself forget this moment, it's the most important in any man's unpluggi…

Yes females are promiscuous and seminal competition is a thing. But humans didn't live in tribal orgy societies. Female promiscuity follows an infidelity model, where women throughout history successfully cuckolded their provider partners. You think trp invented AF/BB model? Scientists have maintained the dad/cad model for decades, it's essentially the same thing.

So you would fall into the class of people I say go for it to. What I was criticizing was that it's the go to advice for increasing T when there are so many avenues that should be explored first.
/r/TheRedPill01/04/15 11:24 AM
1

Ah yes, the "Sex at Dawn" view of human sexuality where female promiscuity is perfectly natural and not shameful at all because monogamy is a social construct. Pitty it's a view that is unequivocally rejected by the scientific community at large. That's why Oxford Press and every other academic journal refused to print the book or the authors' assertions, because it's a patently false premise. If monogamy is a social construct, then why is it a constant throughout every human society? Societies …

I don't have a problem with guys want to maximize their T markers, it makes perfect sense as in the human sexual market place, high testosterone with a low survival cost is humanity's peacock tail. Almost every "alpha" attribute comes back to T, either fetal androgen levels or free floating levels in adults. Provided you have low surface bacteria, don't have heightened limbic responses and have low markers for all the other typical T survival costs, T will be your biggest advantage over other me…

Male invader. My perspective is that, if a woman fucks me on the first date, she will never gain my commitment. She's a slut. If a woman won't fuck me by the third date, she's fucking crazy and I need to get the fuck away from her right now. I understand how completely illogical that may seem, even downright offensive, but bear with me for a moment. This has been my experience. I'd love to believe there are nice girls out there, but I've been around the block looking for them so many times and a…

Hell I'm only 29 and I can feel this starting. I don't focus on game anymore and I've got it to the point I just follow my gut, passing tests and creating tension. But it's not just that my focus is moved away from game, it's that it's moved away from women. It's like this. Fucking hot women used to seem like the greatest goal I could aspire to, it fueled all my thoughts in some way or another. But fucking hot women to me now is like eating a really nice meal. I can't for the life of me find the study I'm thinking of, but it is around. Pretty sure I've seen Rollo reference it on a number of occasions. Basically, there is a study that shows that the opposite is actually true, women are biased towards other womens opinions, where men show no bias towards another mans opinion. This is how you get ridiculous shit like 15 years ago ask any woman whether they liked a man with a beard she's say he was a rapist because "He's trying to hide something". That sh…

Mark Manson calls it demographics and polarization. Anti-Dump, Doc Love and Pook used to call it screening for someone who already likes you. Most guys in the seduction community will have some intuition into this effect. Ultimately, whatever term you choose to refer to this, there is no denying that it's a factor. However, I would propose you look at is as a filter that acts upon SMV the same way game does. To make it clear what I'm saying, imagine it like this: (Filter + Game)(Looks + Status +…

Journaling is a classic masculine activity historically used to refine ones sense of self, core philosophical ideals and current state of affairs. It's a shame you feel the need to defend yourself, or rather offer justification, early on in your post. I for one commend you and I'm glad to see more members mentioning it. Introspection is something we should be proud of as men, yet we've been encouraged to run from it most our lives. Surround yourself in men quite unlike this and feel your growth …

Good, you're one step closer to self-actualization. She can't decide whether you're failure, only you can. The coming months would best serve you if you seek to take the vagina down from the pedestal and place your happiness upon it, for baseline happiness is king. You only get given one life, you don't have a spare one to give away impressing or entertaining others. Failure isn't encapsulated by being single or the absence of sex, failure is being unhappy. The "slut v. stud" is an artificial double standard. It isn't. Biologically speaking women trade sex for companionship in order to survive, then seek to place their companion into seminal competition with the best genes available to her. If said companion is the most alpha option available, keep his balls empty to prevent roaming. The price of sex for women is higher biologically speaking, she could wind up preggers and barefoot in the sahara, starving to death because she didn't wait for the ma…

Aside from all her shit, what got to me the most was how she pegged me as beta right off the bat and played me like a fiddle. Now, I knew some game and I ran it pretty smooth, alas I was a beta beneath a mask and she saw right through my thin veneer. It was in the withholding sex early on, the cancelling dates and the rearranging things at her convenience, the prioritizing spending time with her "bestie" over me. It was in the way she lovingly emasculated me, held me in a beta box in her mind, h…

That's a healthy approach, as long as you maintain frame and aren't ashamed to disagree with people or develop your own opinions. But people are really solipsistic, so there's no need to try to force your opinions on others. Also, I notice in another comment a few minutes ago you said you dumped your girlfriend for shit testing you. Homie, they all shit test. Always. Just don't over do it. I know younger guys who swallow and they're all hopped up on hormones and overcompensate so fucking badly. It's about the self, dominating the self, not dominating others. It's about building yourself up, not tearing others down to make yourself look big. Be alpha, don't be "alpha". Be a no nonsense having badass, but be cool to people. Get so fucking beastly high SMV that your wife's side guys can't compare and see how you feel then. Keep plating women if you please. Women love opportunistically, but they do love. The married red pill sub had a story not that long ago about how a guy started running game and holding frame and now his wife goes doe eyed whenever she see's him, can't keep her hands off him and walks around the house making up words to romantic songs about him. Homie, she don't need you in her life and you shouldn't be thinking this is done. It's never done. You will never win her undivided "feelings". She's never going to have feelings for you the way you currently think she will, as a woman she isn't capable of it. TRP isn't a tool to get her to love you the way you think she should it's a tool to show you why that's impossible and to stop expecting it. Sidebar is over here : ------------------------------->

Correct, but I like it more. I have done boxing and kickboxing as well, but no one trains like the kyokushin guys at my dojo. Mental cases the lot of them. You get banged up far worse with Kyokushin in my experience because of a lack of head strikes and a traditionalist kime approach to fighting. Yeah we learn all this stuff at the dojo, and I've read two brilliant books on the matter too. I love how CR Jahn of FTW self defense breaks it down. Rule zero: Don't fucking touch me. Rule one: Don't be an asshole. Rule two: Know when you are legally allowed to "go red" and be willing to do it. Rule three: Hit first, hit hard. Rule four: Use a tool. Padlock makes for legal brass knuckles. As you pointed out though, my issue isn't a lack of knowing. My issue is with the second part of rule two. …

Oh I definitely agree. I'm not sure I mentioned I was sitting at the time and he was standing, and like I said I think a contributing factor was that he had friends there and mine had just left when this happened. I don't yet have the confidence in my ability to handle that situation if it escalated. But none of that negates the fact that I mentally froze and that's something I need to address. Thanks for the input dude. Yeah I do kyokushin, so we still have an element of spiritual practice to the style. I've not experienced that, though I can imagine it happening if someone framed it as "Looks are all that matters" or "Ky for being ugly". Red Pill has always acknowledged that looks play a large part in attraction as far as I remember, just not the only or even the most important. I mean, LMS is the go to for SMV evaluation. http://www.rooshv.com/you-have-no-idea-how-easy-it-is-for-good-looking-men Maybe you've experienced PUA guys that are unplugging? Dunno really.

A woman's n count matters. What the fuck is up with all these 'You can't blame women for liking sex' posts lately? A slut is a slut is a fucking slut. I mean, I don't hate sluts, I had a threesome with two such women just last night, but I know what they are and I would never take the view that 'If it's good for the geese it's good for the gander'. OP has confused comfort testing and shit testing. This suggests OP's knowledge of TRP is limited, which also explains how OP can approach with such hughty intellectual snobbery not knowing how much academic work is posted and discussed in this sub on a weekly basis. So let's dispel a couple of things. Firstly, TRP is not intellectually void, TRP is pragmatic first and foremost, it is a sexual strategy not an ideal and gladly adjusts itself as evidence requires. It's not just the substance either, but the style, it's such a fantastic read. A little outdated in RP vernacular but still one of the best works. I remember reading it long before I "unplugged", and when I stumbled on this place it was a real "aha" moment, like pook theory had undergone multiple generations of evolution while I wasn't looking.

Another thing I'm not seeing noticed yet is that PUA back in the day was very shallow. All the shills were in your ear all the time about how looks didn't matter, about how status, money and social skills didn't matter and how if you learned to "game" effectively you didn't need these things. Cue countless frustrated incels running game 3 nights a week and not getting anywhere (of which I was one, years and years ago). I'm 5'9" as well and I frequently get people acting surprised when they notice they're actually taller than me; and I'm almost certain it's because I picked up power posing from my dad naturally. Along with the dominance touching techniques above and maintaining strong eye contact, and speaking from the diaphragm. Alpha is alpha, people's perceptions are fickle and subject to unconcious manipulation. Manspread with pride, it goes a long way to developing "hamster height".

Abundance and taking the pussy off the pedestal. Really, the biggest thing Red Pill has taught me is that women don't actually make you happy. Look dude, my ex force fed me the red pill almost a year ago. I was totally in love with her, she was witty as fuck, a deep and insightful human being. She was caring and nurturing. She sucked cock like no one else and my god, she was beautiful. But she cheated on me. She stood on my fucking heart and walked off like nothing happened. She couldn't help herself, she was an emotional wreck with a drinking problem and loved male validation just a little too much. Her being a wonderful young woman d…

In your position, having not heard from a woman in 8 days, I'd just move on. But the photo is a decent say to go. When I still used Facebook I used to have a close friend, former plate, solid 9.5 put up photos of us all the time. Ltrs, dread is key, but so is plausible deniability. I make strong eye contact with anyone I talk to and I touch people a lot too. I don't flirt though. But women often flirt with me, and I shrug it off. Instant tingles every time.

Bro, do you even dread? Seriously though, sounds like you're both on the younger side. Were you her first? Did you make her cum? Could she have buyers remorse? Oh and seriously run dread. Learn the art of getting women to flirt with you while you remain cool as ice.

Male invader. I hope I'm not stepping out of line but it needs to be highlighted that you just described retiring from the cock carousel and I want to say that yes, we care. I don't want to settle with a woman who has cheap used up sex, and all but the most beta guys I know feel the same. That's just how the cookie crumbles. It isn't fair, but neither is a lion targeting the lame and weak, it just is. Also, not every woman can settle with a top 20% guy, that's just basic probability.

T also lowers when a man falls in love, loses a competition or socially suplicates. Sounds like marriage to me.

Can a first mate speak plainly to their captain? Of course they can. That sounds like a perfect first mate actually.

I suppose it depends on how you're defining conversational skills. I don't talk a lot, because I don't like talking unless there is something to say and I'm not going to alter who I am for anyone. But I'm comfortable in social settings, I naturally fill space, I hold eye contact and I touch people when I talk to them. I suppose you could say I've developed an aura that people are drawn to, despite my quiet nature. I'd say: learn to communicate with body language first and see if that works well …

Dear brother, I want you to ask yourself this: why would I spin a plate that doesn't make me happy? The only person who loses if you don't answer honestly is yourself. Happy growing.
